Took the whole family as only just moved into new house , so no kitchen yet , wow awesome pizza , atmos & great service . Bit pricey for everyday but it will be our go to pizza treat from now on

Excellent food made with fresh ingredients , all served in lovely surrounding and by staff that really seem to enjoy working there .. will bring family next time .

The wife and I have been aware of forge for a while now but have never managed to get down there for one reason or another, so last night we booked our 3 pizzas (cheese tomato/goats cheese/n’duja) and our loaded fries on the web page and paid online and got our pick up time allocated (65 min). Got there staff were friendly place was clean with all appropriate hand sanitizer etc. 8 min later got home food still hot, I had preheated the oven just in case but not needed. Fries were to be expected. The pizzas were a let down, the toppings were ok... a little mean but nothing to complain about... but the dough... from the pictures I was looking forward to the crust, wanting a little char, a slight crunch and crack from the outer edge but what I got was flaccid, limp and soft. I was truly excited for this experience and was just left chewing a floppy base.

What a find!! I have written a review for the Forge Wood Fired Pizza Kitchen on the Black Bull review. This must be one of the most customer focused restaurants around. From a chance conversation with the Forge pizza chef about producing a gluten free version of their pizza menu to having a home delivered superb GF pizzas was amazing. The pizzas we ordered are the best i have tasted and easily challenge the non GF versions. These masterpieces were delivered on time and plenty hot enough not to require any reheating. We both throughly enjoyed them, yes i am not GF but had a GF pizza as well and could not taste any difference. Well done chef. The Forge Wood Fired Pizza Kitchen is now definitely on our go too list for pizza. Well done. Paul & Margaret

I've not had better pizza anywhere.. The dough is the key, the toppings secondary but these guy nail the lot.. Hats off to you 👏👏guys

Well being a Dominos fan, I often have a tendency to look past the local pizza place. Don’t be put off the food was excellent, ok it was a massive choice but you can create your own which is a plus, thought the garlic bread was a little too much garlic for me. Chips are great, will definitely use again.

Have ordered a couple of times from here. Normally pretty decent. Almost as good as mine when I can be bothered to fire up the pizza oven. Last time though was rank. I like a bit of char on the base. But this one was incinerated. It Was like eating charcoal with cheese on. Should not of been delivered like that. So lost my confidence in them

Ordered a take away. Such good Pizza (and chips!) Ham and mushroom had ham hock on, gorgeous, pepperoni was really tasty and BBQ chicken was great! Will order again!

Beautiful pizza , great fresh toppings , quick and delivery to the minute !!! You won’t get a better pizza anywhere locally and to be fair I’ve not had much better anywhere

This was the first time we had ordered from here. Website said an hour wait and we were fine with that. To be completely honest the wait was over an hour and forty minutes. However when the pizza arrived they’d handed it over with a refund of £10 which was totally unexpected. Thank you for handling it the right way. Thank you for rectifying it. We will still order from you again even though we had a lengthy wait as the pizza is ridiculously good. (it was Bank Holiday Sunday so it’s understandable that perhaps the wait was longer than usual).

Having eaten at the Black Bull and being really impressed, we noticed that The Forge delivered to our village nr southwell. We have ordered several times, for groups of friends and for ourselves. The pizza is absolutely gorgeous, always delivered hot and the service is second the none. Will not order any other pizzas from now on and have reccomended to everyone in the village.

Rang up the Black Bull Blidworth to order takeaway pizzas, they did takeaway rustic fries too. Spoilt for choice on toppings so tried The Forge Signature & a Plain Jane. WOW! Absolutely delicious. Flavours were incredible. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes quality rather than quantity although their sizes were great value.

The pizzas here are the best around!! I come here for pizza very often and have never been let down, any request is never to much and take away is an option. I was told that delivery will soon be on the cards and I'm sure this will be my first choice when wanting a take away delivery! 🍕
