The person who served us, I think her name was Sarah, she was absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful.

As you can see from the photo, what is described as an “ultimate toastie” has barely been toasted.

We visited the cafe for the first time yesterday, the food was great and the staff were really friendly. The lady that served us on the till couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely come back soon.

The service is impressively bad! I feel they need more fully trained staff.

£3.95 for a piece of lemon drizzle cake this size is just not on at all. Won't be back for cake that's for sure!

Absolutely lovely experience, feature wall is beautiful and staff constantly smiling and so welcoming. We had burger and fries. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed them so much and such an amazing place to come to after a walk. Love the seasonings they use and will definitely be coming back soon.

Visit the forest twice a week. It’s a beautiful place to walk. I have only had coffee from the cafe but the staff are always friendly and the coffee is good. Hoping to stop to eat later in the month.

Firstly I’d like to point out that the food made me ill for a week. if the beef burger started off as food it certainly wasn’t by the time that *enter bad word here* reached my plate. It was lukewarm at best and to be honest I’d rather eat out the bin. the service was slow and the food was expensive I advise that if you decide to go, bring your own food. This place should be shut down, it is a health hazard.

Me and my partner went for a walk in the forest the other day and were pleasantly surprised by the facilities at the cafe. I had a lovely cappuccino and my partner enjoyed a nice hot chocolate. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant service. will be going back again.

Staff are very hard-working and are lovely to talk to. I went on a very busy day and besides the busy-ness there was still great customer service from all of the staff. Excellent food and coffee.

There are not enough poor words in the English dictionary to describe how crap this place continually is 15 mins to serve someone a few drinks with a queue building up ….joke it’s most weeks Walked away and came back after my walk A guy in front just stood there whilst one person served drinks and the other half heartily wiped a few trays oh the woman stood sipping a drink not giving a toss Finally he came over and asked what he wanted ….have we all turned invisible over Christmas??? Another 15 mins of waiting I got a coffee …they’ve even put a second coffee station in and still can’t speed it up In the past the soup has been puréed tin of tomatoes…..asked if we want cutlery ….err no thought I’d eat it with my fingers The management or lack of these bunch have no idea how to run this facility How they ever got the contract is beyond me they are the worst ever they all need sacking

On boxing day I enquired at 2.30 what time they served until. Was informed 5pm. Returned at 4.02pm to be turned away by a surely lady with no apology or semblance of regret. Not impressed. They lost quite a large drinks order so I can only assume making plenty of money. Customer service needs to improve!

great hot chocolate and good service.

Went in for lunch after a walk on a Sunday. Service was diabolical, maybe say 10mins to order and then waited 29mins for food only to be told they didn't have what was ordered. When it did arrive it was almost bordering on un edible. The tuna melt contained something that was akin to a fish flavoured paste at best. Honestly, service staff were terrible and it wasn't isolated to one person, the whole team was super lacklustre. Avoid.

There was no heads up of an excessive wait time on food(40mins) until I asked later on. You should be notifying customers upon ordering. Their labeling system was incorrect on paninis so it was a luck of the draw of what you would be given! Poor customer service from the manager who messed up my order twice. She couldn't even say sorry for the inconvenience. I also watched her mess up another customer's order while I was waiting for mine. Incompetent to say the least!

The café itself is nice but they seem to be understaffed? We paid for a bacon sandwich and after 40 minutes of waiting there was no sign they'd even started making it. We had leave to avoid getting a parking fine! That's £6 I'll never get back - not sure what's going on but they need to hire more kitchen staff instead of 4+ people making drinks/taking orders

The salted caramel cake was dry and extremely sweet. Oat-milk latte was alright. Expected more from this place as per reviews. Maybe more luck next time. Thanks.

Great place for a walk or hike through the forrest. Also some activities for the kids and adults. The restaurant is pet friendly with great coffee and food.

We visited today with a group of beaver scouts. The member of staff who served us was so incredibly kind to the children as he served us. Such a lovely, warm environment. Look forward to visiting again!

I was on a long walk and stopped in for tea and a bacon bap. Not too bad at just over £7 but I was very shocked this afternoon when I stopped at the end (15miles) all I wanted was a cold can of pop and between being tired and lots of orders being shouted out of the window I just tapped to pay ..realised when I got home I had been charged £2.15 for a can of coke!!

Very pleasant cafe at the wyre forest visitor centre. Very good indoor and outdoor seating. Good variety of cakes. Very decent Coffee. Very welcoming staff. Good music playing in a nice relaxing environment after a good bike ride round the forest.

Had a great time at Wyre Forest. We went for a drink and cake without really looking at the prices. £10 for a milkshake and a small brownie for my lad is just way too much. I know these places need to make a profit, but next time I will be bringing a flask and my own cake. Shame, as it's nice to support these places, but not at these prices.

Lovely cafe, love that I can take my dog and sit at any table. I’ve had breakfast always like been tasty brought to your table inside the cafe. Happy smiley staff, a lovely place to go for a walk then treat yourself to a meal, drink and cake. Here regularly for park run Served by Sarah

Nice Food but pricey. I use to regularly pop in for a ice cream but £3.75 for a single cone seems a bit much to me. Maybe they should do a second price list for locals like they do in Cornwall

I am a member and regular visitor to the Wyre Forest and cafe. The cafe has clearly changed hands and is now not worth the visit. Food choice has been reduced and 'odd' items added e.g. dippy eggs! The portions are smaller and the quality of the food is poor. Watery soup with processed bread for £5.50! We looked forward to a walk and lunch afterwards with friends in the cafe. We have now been twice since the change of ownership and will not be going again. Very disappointing!

Ordered the 'Ultimate ham and cheese toastie'. Which was quite possibly the saddest excuse for a toastie I've ever seen. Tasted like someone had shoved some ham and a bit of bag mozerella in between two tiny slices of stale week old bread. To call it 'Ultimate' is a straight up lie and false advertising. The accompanying coleslaw was grey. It was comically bad.

Lovely Cafè, reasonable prices. The chicken burger we ordered was great! Nice selection of refreshments a good toilet facilities.

Fantastic walks we hired the Tramper for my husband because he can't walk very far. Excellent service. Met by a lovely lady very helpful highly recommend hiring it if you have problems walking. Excellent few hours spent walking and taking pictures.

First time visit very lovely open forest area! Park for little people plenty of greenery for dogs to have fun. Only let down was the cafe I ordered two breakfast toasties and items were missing so I went to get this corrected was told will get fresh new ones but instead they gave back the original ones with one egg when it was supposed to be two. Obviously you pay for what u want and what’s on the menu but not wanting to look like a moaning customer I just left it at that. Bacon wasn’t really edible and the toast was burnt and hard. Kids had American pancakes nothing special but for the price of £4.95 you would expect the American style pancakes not Kipling ones. Coffee was average. Menu prices seemed ok but on receiving the food not worth it. A lot of people had their own packed lunches. Lesson learnt for next time. Parking starts from £4 depending on car size. Card only for the parking.

Visited today; not the first time I've used this cafe but haven't visited for a few years now. Service was great - my cup of tea was replaced with no squabble as it was a little too Milky for my taste. The ladies working had a sense of humour which is always nice - nothing worse than someone who can't crack a smile. Food was delicious - the brie, bacon and cranberry soft baguettes and the cakes. Was able to get a table - I do like the fact that they allow dogs in the cafe and that there's also tables which are dog free. Also managed to grab an ice cream at last minute so that was a bonus! Will return on our next visit to the forest 😊

The farmers breakfast was the best I've ever had and when you throw in a relaxed ambience and smart and polite staff, you have the recipe for repeat business. The three of us enjoyed it so much with the dogs lying on the floor, not getting in the way.

Parked for 2-4 hours, went for walk on "buzzard trail" and then had sandwich and drink. Bread slices a bit thick for my taste but good.

Cafe is OK, but if you have a dog you’re crammed in sharing one of two very-much-in-demand tables that allow dogs… whilst most of the rest of the inside tables are empty. And that’s if you’re lucky - quite a few potential customers with dogs were turning up and having to leave, as the two dog tables were constantly full.

This cafe was chosen for Christmas present exchange and get together with daughter, son in law and new grandson on 30th December. We travelled 60 miles and though there were holdups on the journey we expected over an hour and a half together, eating, drinking and chatting. After just under half an hour we were asked to leave as the staff wanted to prepare for New Year. This was not on the Website. We went outside, but the baby did not like being woken up by the cold, and after a short attempt at a walk we gave up and said our goodbyes. The parking, at £4, was very expensive, but the toilets were very clean and well equipped. All in all, disappointing and would not be considered for any future get togethers.

Doesn't deserve 1*, all in all disgusting. Only good part are the walks. Car park far too expensive.

What a gem of a place good food great staff give it a whirl x

Shockingly disappointing. Visited early this morning, my Granddaughter chose a cup cake (fairy cake actually & charged cup cakes prices) so ordered one for myself too. So dry & stale they were inedible. How can a coffee shop get this so wrong.

The cafe is not dog friendly. Says it is but with only two tables allocated for dog owners and their dogs this is a misrepresentation especially when the other 15 us tables weren't all being used.

Brilliant place for a rest and a coffee during a long walk. They also sell cakes, sandwiches, ice cream and other snacks. There are public toilets.

Fair prices but limited menu with no chips for children. The cafe is also where you get Trail Packs from for Superworm which has replaced the Gruffalo trail.

Extortionate parking prices, the cafe is equally overpriced if the food options are actually available. My advice would be check with staff before you que to avoid disappointment or wasting your parking time. I only gave this location a second star for the forest itself, it was clean, well signposted and had a number of great photo spots if that's your thing. My advice for anyone with dogs would be to head to the Chef and Brewer just 2 miles down the road, dog friendly, plenty of choice on the Menu and with a proper traditional pub feel

Walks round the forest very good. Drinks were a bit over the top. The parking charges, extortionate.

Great range of tasty cakes. Friendly staff. Slightly on the expensive side for the portion size.

The manager of the coffee shop was really rude and had terrible attitude when they over charged me and had to issue a refund. She made me feel like a nuisance and like I was being pathetic. Ruined my experience and for the poor customer service from the manager, not the staff who served me, I will not be going back.

After frantic walking arround forest a welcome snack and coffee, NICE!

Not a very good visit for our first visit. Blue badge disabled visitors have to pay for parking. But they dont tell you this until you've parked. So I struggle to walk the 40 or 50 yards to the machine, and the minimum charge is £3, which I only have £2. The card section isnt working and its 150yards to the shop with a working machine, then another 100yds back to put the ticket in, then 100yards back to the cafe. I was in agony after just legally parking the car. So we took our granddaughter into the cafe for a bit of lunch. My wife got our lunch. Our granddaughters sandwich was hard stale bread. When questioned, the male assistant told her to "put it back on the shelf", which my wife refused, as it was unfit for consumption. My wife also ordered 2 lattes which the assistant gave away to someone else, so she had to stand and wait for another 2 to be made. We certainly were not impressed with the service, or facilities at The Wyre Forest, and its cafe. After that, I can be fairly certain we wont use their facilities again. If you are disabled, like myself, and in a wheelchair, think twice about your visit (or take a very able bodied person to help you get around. And while on the subject of getting around. Why put speed bumps on a path that disabled/wheelchair users need to use to get any of the sites facilities ? I didnt notice this, and very nearly ended up going face first out of my chair as I hit the bump and stopped instantly. That I didnt was thanks to a nice gentleman who grabbed me as I shot forward after the sudden unexpected stoppie. So, all in all, not a very good visit at all.

Bring a picnic food & drink is rather expensive

The centre staff were all very friendly and helpfull. The tea and scons were 10 out of 10. And we are planning another visit soon with our daughter and family. We had a great, exciting day.

Lovely setting, brilliant for walks with the kids & dog, but the cafe is strangely limited. Great if you want a bottle of full fat coke and a pie & gravy, bad if you want a cold diet drink and a sandwich. The only no sugar drink is diet coke and the pie menu is twice the size of the sandwich list! Good coffee variety and some nice cakes, but for an outdoor activity place it was strangely lacking in healthy options.

Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks and cakes available. Gets busy in the summer and on the weekends but worth a visit as children can play on the park while adults take a break in the warm. The parking isn't free so take some change along with you.

Food took a long time and not great quality considering the high cost. Nearly an hour to get a panini and a jacket potato, really disappointed as it's really not gourmet food. Poor end to a great day.
