The Folio Bar & Kitchen in Cambridge

Nitin the chef is excellent. Every morning he makes a unique omelette for me. He is very friendly and provides excellent service.

This is my new place to have breakfast, lovely environment, friendly staff really impressed it’s my third time I had breakfast and every time it’s been first class definitely recommend and will be going back again. Thank you Service.

Had lunch here and afraid it wasn’t good. It was very quiet but didn’t bother us too much. I ordered the plant burger and my friend the lasagne. My burger came and looked lovely but after one mouthful I immediately knew it was meat. I did say to the waiter that they had made a mistake but he and one of the kitchen staff insisted it was a meat substitute. I couldn’t eat it as I don’t eat red meat and the smell and taste made me feel sick. My friend had the lasagne that was dry and welded to the dish. No sauce at all in it. She had one mouthful and couldn’t eat anymore. They knocked my meal off the bill but not hers. They could see she hadn’t eaten it and I was surprised they hadn’t commented when looking at her plate. After complaining they did knock her meal off the bill too. They weren’t busy and I’m at a loss as to why they got two simple meals so badly wrong. I can’t fault the waiting staff though. All very polite.

Our Valentine's Day experience at this restaurant was truly enjoyable. The specially crafted 8-course menu, although not overwhelmingly flavourful, the unique combinations and textures added a creative touch to our dinner. While the service was occasionally slow, it was notably attentive, and the staff promptly addressed our concerns. The overall atmosphere, created by the ambiance and presentation, was positive and contributed to a romantic and intimate setting for our date night. Despite encountering some minor hiccups, we sincerely appreciate the team's dedication in ensuring our Valentine's Day was memorable. We're looking forward to exploring more of Chef Claudiu's innovative menu during our future visits.

My husband and I had breakfast every morning. The breakfast was nice. I enjoyed the coffee machine which made a nice selection of different coffees, but… if you want a real treat, head over to The Sage Cafe and let Da Da make you a wonderful mocha latte. Da Da is very talented and is always wearing a smile. The entire staff at The Fellowes House is very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is kept very clean and always in order. The hotel feels more like a home than a commercial hotel. I must mention that my favorite person at the hotel was Dollie. Dollie always greeted us in the breakfast area with a smile and was very interested in making our experience a good one. Dollie seems to have a great work ethic and cares about both her job and the people she serves. I will miss Dollie and hope that I get a chance to see her again if we return to the Cambridge area. Thank you Fellowes House for an enjoyable stay. I am already missing your awesome steam room!
