Great little pub that is deceivingly large inside. Lovely staff and clientele.

Every single time you walk in the front door, its like the conversations stop - and everyone at the bar watches you walk in. Never not been in, and had this experience. With the amount of people at the bar, its not a large bar - so getting served can be annoying. Aside from that - quite good seating inside and outside with large and small rooms inside - and a large beer garden outside. Wing Wednesday - not exactly the best - just get the plain wings, with a small amount of sauce on the side.

Quiz night / Chicken wing Wednesday. Great food, Fun quiz, Great atmosphere, Great company. What more could you ask for?

Staff are welcoming and friendly. Great service for food and drinks, food is incredible for the price. The size of the fish tonight was incredible - you could almost feed a family from one. Love this pub and it is a great one to visit if you are ever in Hazel Grove

Local pub only for locals!! If you love standing at the bar while the barman serves locals behind you then this pub is right up your street, went in last week same day and exact thing happened with a different barman, ordered a round and waited ,another local came in from outside and my order was put to one side while they were served even though they weren’t in the building at the time of him asking what I would like? Won’t bother again,thought I’d given them the benefit of a second chance,really wish I hadn’t and won’t bother again..

Ate here twice in late 2022 The first time was amazing: the fish and chips being perfectly cooked and the Friday deal making things such good value for money. The second time we struggled to eat our meals because the fish was slimy and the chips lukewarm at best. At least it was still on the Friday deal so we hadn't paid full price. We might give it a go again.

The ciders were good , a few dark ales would be nice. It was clean and friendly We loved the dog! It was really good with our 3 year old grandson.

Joined my friend for quiz night, got there early and ordered the 25p wings, rosemary and garlic was the special. Really nice and hot. Ordered a Pepsi and my husband had a pint of unicorn. Overall was felt very welcomed and was a great evening with the quiz guy. Had an amazing night.

This pub is definitely the pride of Hazel Grove. Eddie is definitely one of the best landlords you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. The food is great, the atmosphere welcoming, clientele are friendly. Looking forward to enjoying the beer garden soon too. Live music, dog friendly too. Wednesday is Wing Wednesday for me. 25pence a wing. Quiz on Wing weds is a must. Forgot to mention the chef is a beast cook and the bar staff are friendly, knowledgeable and smiling.

Called in as they had a band on,Blind Tiger. Had some decent bitter on which made my partner very happy and the pub itself was really lively with a good atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and polite and the band were pretty good too.

Gluten free choices attracted us here, and the food itself was great when it arrived but few hiccups along the way..Firstly, probably not a place to go with kids on a Saturday tea time, pretty loud. Friendly atmosphere but just too loud to relax and enjoy our food. Placed order hoping for pizza and side for £10 (Sat offer advertised clearly on website), to be told by server that deal is no longer on. When inputted order into till, promotion applied automatically then they took it off. Didn’t argue it as just felt out to enjoy ourselves and didn’t want a fuss, but find it strange neither server or manager aware of trading standards law that you can’t falsely advertise! Even if you’ve planned a promotion change, you’re still promoting that offer on your website so really should honour it! Anyway, order placed and informed one gluten free..unfortunately food arrived non gluten free and when pointed out it was removed immediately. But then had to wait for mine to be cooked whilst rest of family ate. It was very good food overall but shame about the issues. The staff were very friendly and apologetic about mistakes made, and in their defence, they did check with manager about the promotion and we’re just doing as they were told.

Not a place that welcomes non-regulars or people who aren't local. Older lady behind the bar was particularly unfriendly, wouldn't give them by business again.

We have just ordered are first pop up take away from here the food was delicious and catered for my dietary needs which is coeliac disease I would highly recommend them

One of my favourite pubs. Nice staff, decent beers, Wednesday quiz is great fun, live music at the weekends (although can be a bit loud as the main room isn't massive) good food, not expensive, nice sitting out area. All good! What's not to like??? 👍

Good little boozer, went in a few times after moving to the area. Beers nice but a tad expensive in my opinion for the area. Its 5.35 for a pint of corona which seemed nuts to me but the food was nice and mot too busy so service was good

Great pub, proper authentic, proper proper beers on the bar. No messing around. Lee the bar lad was right laugh. (Shakin’ Stevens he says) the kebab they do is ELITE. Must visit in stockport

First take away order from the Flying Coach. Absolutely fantastic! delicious, quick delivery, really hot when it arrived and reasonably priced. Brilliant service and really, really, tasty!

Didn't enjoy my recent experience there. The member of staff who collected payment was short with me without good reason. I left immediately after my drink was finished.

the chef makes his own coating for the chicken and it is severed with many different choices of dips, the burgers and hot dogs are from hazeldines local butchers. the service is excellent.

Great outdoor area, staff are always really friendly and have a smile under their masks. They do a great pint of Guinness and the food it's lovely. They are also dog friendly which is a bonus.

We ordered from here this evening, they confirmed our order and said delivery time would be 18:25-18:45, at about half six we got a text saying our order would be delayed (which we were fine with). A few minutes later we get another text saying the restaurant had cancelled our order. This was one hour after we had put our order through.

Utter rubbish. Good luck ordering online. left awaiting order confirmation for over 15 minutes only to have order refused. If they can't manage orders not sure I want them cooking my food.

Ordered on Just Eat.... Waited an hour after receiving payment authorisation email. Went back on the app. Restaurant had cancelled my order. Very hungry

It's a nice place but 4.10 for a carling is not good. Not tried the food but the menu does look good and ok priced. Would Give 5 stars but I think it's too expensive for a not great pint of lager. Maybe it's to keep out the jager drinking types not sure.

Lockdown food delivery (delivered to reddish)....absolutely lovely ...well packed, well presented, super tasty . Highly recommend and will definitely use again whilst we can during lockdown.

So disappointed with the Flying Couch lately. This pub has the potential to be great but over the last few months stock levels have been low, food is hit or miss and on a quiet Saturday, when there's only three people in the pub, the bar tender would rather chat than clean up. The place is looking so dirty which is such a shame after the recent lavish makeover

Had a Sunday roast beef delivered to my home and couldn't have been more happy with the service. The food was very nice ☺

Stopped in whilst waiting to meet friends and had a few pints (very well kept) and one of their famous pizzas having seen them go out. Honestly the best pizza I've ever had and far better than the other pizza places around there

Firstly I want to say I really don’t want to give a negative review for this place. I have been coming in since it reopened and it was better than it has been since then until more recently. Came here last night with some friends, most of which hadn’t been before and once again they had run out of the most obvious stuff for a pub to have. No ice, no brandy and flat coke to name a few. When we queried the flat coke the lad went off to change the gas but came back saying they had run out. Now surely gas for your mixers is a basic in any pub!?? At which point we asked for a refund as the drinks were undrinkable like that. Such a shame as this isn’t the first time and seems to be quite a regular occurrence to have run out of regular items. I appreciate that they may have had a busy period and had this been a one off I wouldn’t feel the need to write this but it’s not. There seems to be a big focus on food which is great but first and foremost this is a pub. Please get the basics right before anything else!

1st time we called in this pub and you can tell from the set out money has been well spent here. The seating is ample, the prices are reasonable the way the pub looks, we will be back to enjoy their hospitality

This is a cracking pub. Dog friendly and customer friendly. A warm welcome with good beer and good food. Always lots going on. Great place to spend an evening.

Only one beer on (Unicorn) during our visit. And too many people chatting away whilst the musician playing which was uncalled for especially when there are plenty of other places they could sit.

Great local boozer been coning here for a yr now, still need to try the food though, it looks and smells delicious! Got to know the staff quite well top guys! Well worth a visit! :-)

It was a lovely sunny day and was looking forward to a nice Gon and Tonic in there fabulous beer garden but it was shut . Apparently they don't open until 5pm . Very dissapointed 😟

Beware of the car park - for some reason they have started issuing £60 tickets!!!

Absolutely belting Pub. Dogs welcome and they have two of their own, the Landlords Ed & Eddie are brilliant and have really turned this place around. Selection is brilliant and the pizzas are easily the best to be found in Hazel Grove. Love the fact they have their own app too for ordering food and you get a 20% discount on your first order! Our local and for good reason!
