Loved it today here, food was fabulous with great variety. Drinks the same - app or counter ordering available. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again

Food was lovely, really tasty and great quality. We all ate something different (3 of us). Service was good, staff were really friendly which made for a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Thanks for ruining my evening with my daughter back on a flying visit from uni. Ordered food and hour in advance of cinema visit and at to get a refund. Shocking service and only refunded my food shocking won't be back.

waited an hour for food when i asked about it they said oh it didnt print off into the kitchen we’ll have to refund you coz the kitchen not doing food now it was 9:30 the kitchen closes at 10 then charged me again and had to refund me twice just abit disappointed i never got my food i used to work here i would of apologised for the wait offered a drink or refunded a drink we had and got the food out as soon as

I've been here over 20 times with family over the years and have never once had any complaints. The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly, polite and helpful, even when it gets extremely busy. We have several dietary requirements and the staff are always spot on with their knowledge of allergens etc. This is one of the few places I feel confident eating at, knowing they won't give me gluten or dairy by mistake (like many other restaurants do). All the staff that work here really are a credit to the place. The manager is always smiling and so friendly and all the staff are amazing every time we come in.

Cracking place in an up and coming area of Stockport. Great vibe inside with plenty of seating. Good selection of food on the menu with gluten free option. Cocktails and wine choices. Service was quick, friendly, Wendy was just lovely and made us feel looked after, thank you! Lovely style of decor with art and lighting. Food was great and tasty, well presented. We had the tapas and cocktails. The squid was delicious! Very reasonably priced. Definitely going to return and good start to the evening before walking into the centre for drinks in other bars.

A good standardised experience but nothing particularly special. It's well priced and has plenty of space. Service is great servers are personable.

Lovely staff, dog friendly and a great choice of gluten free food! Really nice relaxed atmosphere and I also like to see the staff wearing their own clothes and being able to be themselves! I love the underbanks in Stockport but this is my favourite place in the main bit of Stockport!

Had lunch here yesterday with my wife and 8 year old son. All staff were superb, despite being extremely busy. Food excellent. Struggling to find negatives: was a bit chilly, but it was -1 outside and customers kept leaving the door open. The hand dryer in the toilets was awkwardly located. But these are minor inconveniences.

Two star food at three star prices. Two of our four meals came as they were ordered, the other two had bits missing or wrong food arrived. In response to below: My daughter ordered pancakes which were meant to come with banana. We asked for the banana but it didn't arrive. In the meantime I had been served an English muffin with sausage, but had ordered bacon. I was going to raise it when the banana arrived, but as it didn't I just ate the sausage. We were on a big table along the wall on your left as you arrive.

We went here Saturday for my daughters birthday and we had a great night , there was 12 of us ,3 little children , the lady who works there was fantastic , made sure my grandkids had crayons and colouring stuff , made us feel welcome , food was good service was good , wish I had the lady’s name to put in my review As she was brilliant.

Food was awful, I had a slightly spiced chicken in breadcrumbs, outside was totally over cooked chicken so dry, about a teaspoon of coleslaw, plus in a little dish skinny fries, I had eight. We were going to the theatre after, or would of definately complained. £12.50 would never go again, prices ridiculous and chappy, crappy food, YUK YUK YUK.

They refused to bring plates for our birthday cake. Birthday ruined. We went out as a family for my girlfiends birthday meal and couldn’t enjoy her birthday cake together. Terrible.

Food here was lovely, not keen on the QR code ordering etc felt very impersonal....set out like a restaurant but felt more like a bar. Great for a quick bite before the cinema or theatre.

Food was tasty, with unique and tasty sauces/dressings that made each tapas and meal taste unique. Churros sauces could be more authentic chocolate, quite a synthetic taste of bottled chocolate sauce. Service was great and staff very friendly. Atmosphere could do with some work, especially if you have children, needs some colouring in things etc.

It was my mum's birthday and she asked me to decide somewhere to go. I have previously gone to a Lounge and so had she so I suggested this one hoping it would be just as good. It was fantastic! My partner and I had the vegan burrito which was delicious!! And then had the semifreddo - also great! It was absolutely packed at Saturday 1pm and the staff were incredibly busy but they let us know they were getting round to us and got us seated after only a short wait. They let us know food would take a while which was considerate and nice. My family members enjoyed various food and drinks and it was a nice atmosphere. We hung around a while because one member arrived and ate late but the staff were polite - didn't try and get rid of us, just took our used plates and glasses quickly so they could be used for the next customers. It is clearly a very popular restaurant and so it should be!

It’s an atmospheric place with great food, but I have noticed that the quality of the food varies depending on the day of the week.

The food and drinks are fab! But the customer service is something else! Next level and can’t do enough for you! Very welcoming and accommodating with pets which is just amazing!

Visiting Stockport with my 3 year old, had this place recommended when I stayed at the Travelodge and so pleased it was. Vegan menu is amazing, food and coffee I couldn't fault, fresh and delicious. Great service and very kid friendly - colouring and other touches like kids being brought houmous pot with carrot and breadsticks while waiting for food. Came back for brunch the next day.

What a lovely experience we had tonight 13/07/24, if you were working tonight thank you were very hospital. The food was extremely well cooked and you were very busy! hats of to the kitchen staff, I do visit regularly and always find it a pleasant affordable experience.

A lovely restaurant in the middle of Stockport. Walk-in and just simply order from the waitresses or scan a QR code at your table. Staff is wonderful and even helped us save a little bird! Food is wonderful and freshly made!

First time here today was meeting an old friend. Food really nice and staff lovely and friendly. The only criticism would be it was only lunchtime but the music was really loud and we struggled to hear each other. Is it necessary? it seems to be a big problem everywhere you go nowadays there's loud music being played. I did mention it to a member of staff but she said it was her first day so not sure whether she passed it on. Probably not as it was never turned down. I don't mind a bit of background music but most places don't get it right. Shame as it's a really nice place but I wouldn't meet in there again i'd find somewhere nice and quiet so we can chat.

I've been here multiple times and the staff are always friendly. They have a vegan and a gluten free menu for those with dietary requirements. Have taken many family and friends here and everyone always enjoys their meal and the atmosphere!

Q code ordering that is always a red flag. Food was weatherspoons quality but without the cheap price. Food took ages even though it wasn't busy and was microwave food. Gender fluid staff. Flat cola. Tasted like rola cola.

What Absolutely lovely staff. A credit to you. Food was delicious two of us had Tuesday tapas with a drink for £12.50. One had bang bang chicken and one had buttermilk chicken with slaw and fries. Was a really great night. Thank you and to the fantastic kitchen staff who never really get a mention but hold it together. Table booked for next week. X

Wouldn't go anywhere else for a family brunch. Regularly visit with our toddler and dog - we are always welcome and allergies are catered for extremely well. Couldn't recommend this place enough! Update: now our family has grown - adding a 6 month old to the mix - we are still just as welcome and accommodated here.

Nice food but nothing that special, didn’t have to wait that long. Ordered a side portion of onion rings to share, £2.35 thought you’d get a decent amount, but you only get 3 onion rings!

I visited last week after some plans changed and I am soooo glad I did. I had the Harissa chicken flatbread. It was absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend it. As always the staff were very professional and friendly.

I have listed the berretto lounge on many occasions. I have tried the breakfast and the lunch/tea menu. The food is always yummy. Never have a complaint. There is lots to choose from, including vegan and different dietary requirement meals. There is a large variety of drinks too. The atmosphere can be loud when the place is busy, but just the same as any place. The decor is crazy, with lots of different style chairs, lampshades and pictures. My only criticism is that you can't pre-book a table 😞

Overall, an indubitably splendid place to dine with the comrades. I got the tapas. My comrade got the tapas too. It was interesting to marvel at the idiosyncratic paintings. I swear I saw an elephant in one of them.

We came here on a whim for brunch and it was a delightful experience. Drinks were quick and the food was delicious. I had the shakshuka and he had the breakfast english muffin. Really lovely atmosphere and decor and the staff were very accommodating. Will defo be coming back to try the rest of the menu

was really looking forward to my meal here and it was awful! me and my friends came for a meal and i ordered sharing tapas and a cauliflower curry, as i am a vegetarian. we assumed the tapas would come out before the meal, we were wrong! 45 minutes after ordering the tapas and my main arrived at the same time. When i went to eat my cauliflower curry, i noticed there was pieces of chicken in it, my boyfriend tried it and said it was 100% chicken. We advised a member of staff who told us that it was not chicken, he then offered me a fresh version. When this arrived it had obviously been microwaved and the lady who brought it over told us that what i thought was chicken was pineapple! Pineapple and chicken are completely different! There was no apology offered at all from any member of staff - appalling.

Lots of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian choices. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend the strawberry coconut milkshake 🤤 Those who ordered burgers and chips got their food faster, so if it's busy and you're a stravin' marvin' opt for that. We waited over an hour for our food, if not more- however, it was extremely busy and there was bound to be a queue, especially because we went during the lunch time rush and when there was an event on.

I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times. With my partner as a couple. And I’ve took my elderly mother and young son on a number of occasions. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. I’ve had excellent service and excellent food. Even on one occasion when my food was being delayed, I didn’t even realise until the manageress came over and offered me a free drink to apologise. Great service great restaurant.

The restaurant itself is wonderful the decor and fixtures very eclectic and leads to a wonderful cosy ambience. The food was spectacular could not fault it Will definitely return and highly recommend!!

Today, we enjoyed a meal for 20 volunteers from a local community project (Friendly Fridays) and we had the best time! From booking the table for such a large group, organising food orders ahead of time, to turning up to our reserved tables, everything was very straightforward. The service was excellent, especially considering the size of our party! Our food arrived all at the same time, beautifully cooked and delicious. Desserts were a dream...huge thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of organising a group booking. Thank you

You'll get a different experience here depending on the time of your visit. For me, my best times have been for breakfast but before every man and his dog turn up. Getting here earlier gives you the best chance of securing a table with a little more space, particularly handy when you come with kids. Food is okay but I'd say breakfast is their best course. Had some very average lunches here. Service is always a little indifferent and music a little bit on the loud side. But I like the decor and the airy feel to the place but only outside of peak times. A handy venue for meeting up and convenience, but you wouldn't go here for the food, I'm sad to say. It gets a 4 star from me but that's based on a morning visit and it's handy location.

Me and my wife ate here last weekend and we've never been so ill for 48 hours after. I regret stepping foot in this place and definitely won't be returning.

We were here on Sunday. 2 of us ate and were very unwell 24 hours later, our little boy didn’t eat thank god. I wouldn’t come back after this experience.

Ate here Friday night with a group of friends. The food wasn't great rather greasy. One didn't eat hers and the other 3 of us have been ill as a result. Definitely wouldn't go back here!

Food and service is all great dogs are allowed which is all great until your eating your tea and one is all over your food. Need to bring in a dogs must be on leads policy.

I’d never come here for tea but I can get a very respectable burger at 10:00am what’s not to like? Having said that the cooked breakfasts a rather good too.

Ordered a beer through the app, when it came because I didn't have ID, they refused to give me the drink or a refund. When mentioning that I am 27 the waitress seemed very abrupt and wanted to elevate the situation, she was adamant i had to speak to the manager when I just wanted to enjoy my date night. So after speaking to the manager who simply kept repeating their challenge 25 policy to me in what came across rude, there was no different outcome anyway. Perhaps some customer service training could help. I've been here before and ordered alcohol without ID but after how the staff approached the situation, won't be coming back again.

Absolutely fantastic chill and friends food was amazing as well ( tried both, yes greedy ) I like my food and this place was a real find. Just order and pay at the bar so easy. Great selection of wine as well and fab atmosphere to eat in. Well done will come again

We visit the lounges all over the place, this one really let us down, service was spot on, the server gave us all the different milk options with our tea so we could try them and decide the nicest, so 10 out of 10 for front of house, but the food not so, I had a lounge breakfast today at the Stockport one, sausage was tough, (possibly kept warm too long, or heated up a few times) beans were not fresh, hash browns were undercooked, my wife's were nice, the shakshuka, probably won't go there again. There was two of us, spent around £27, at about 3pm.

My recent visit to Berretto Lounge was overshadowed by several disappointing aspects that significantly impacted the overall dining experience. I had high hopes for a pleasant meal, but unfortunately, encountered numerous setbacks that left me dissatisfied. I opted for the chicken burger, but it arrived with a perplexing temperature contrast—while the exterior was cold, the interior seemed unnaturally overheated, almost as if it had been hastily prepared using a microwave. The inconsistency in temperature and texture indicated a lack of attention to detail in the cooking process. It was evident that the dish had not been prepared to the standards one would expect from a dining establishment. To add to the disappointment, the service at Berretto Lounge was notably slow. It appeared that there were only two staff members serving a seemingly crowded establishment, leading to extended wait times for both service and meals. This lack of adequate staffing greatly affected the efficiency and overall quality of service. The visibly overwhelmed staff struggled to manage the influx of customers, resulting in delayed service and a compromised dining experience. It's regrettable that the management did not anticipate or adequately address the staffing needs, leading to a decline in service quality. While the ambiance of the place was pleasant and had potential, the subpar food quality and slow service overshadowed any positive aspects of the visit. In conclusion, my visit to Berretto Lounge was marred by a poorly executed dish and unsatisfactory service due to inadequate staffing. The incongruity in food quality and the slow service significantly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. Until improvements are made in both the quality of food preparation and service efficiency, I find it challenging to recommend Berretto Lounge as a dining destination.

Been here a few times now. Nice atmosphere, good mix of age groups as well. Food nice but small portions. The staff are very friendly as well.

Food was very slow coming, and it was cold when it arrived. The manager was really great and got everything sorted out immediately though with fresh, piping hot replacement dishes; I'm sure this was just a one-off, and I would recommend.

Visited today. Really dire experience overall. 2 x separate orders. First order, for coeliacs, contained 2 x chicken and bacon dish. We had to send both dishes back as they weren't remotely hot. Manager returned and told us they should have tested the temperature with a prong but they "forgot". Inexcusable. Fair play, they did replace them both and they returned hot but the dish wasn't pleasant and I left more than half of mine. Chicken tasted rank. Second order from same table took over half an hour to come. Pizza and a baguette, half an hour, and not busy. Terrible. Sweet potato chips were freezing. Manager came again and was told. She felt them and agreed they were cold. Again, these were swapped and did return hot. We were given free coffees and deserts as a means of apology. Not a pleasant experience which is such a crying shame as we are regulars in Urmston and Manchester. The Lounge chain is usually a good experience, this was so poor. We won't return to the Stockport branch again.

I come here often, usually once every other week as I have a cinema membership to the Light next door and the service has always been 10/10. The staff are lovely, the food is good and they have a great selection for my friend who has a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!

Just for a quick bite of garlic bread with cheese and a pint before the film in the local cinema, and snacks and a pint before going home by bus. While munching I had done some crosswords and sudokus, so it was a great evening out by myself! 😃👍
