Lovely food and great staff! The food is made fresh, the Sunday roast is amazing!

Excellent service, really nice food, very enjoyable and tasty. Staff were great, making us feel welcome from start to finish.

Nice little suntrap out front, atmosphere was lovely and beer kept well.

Had my daughters baby shower here, bar staff were amazing, so helpful, the room was lovely I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a party.

Probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had food used to be nice here and now they serve cheap meat. The burger was slimy and soggy and tasted vile, cheap rubbish bacon. Very disappointed won’t be eating here ever again.

Absolutely beautiful lunch at the Fleece. 1st time I've been in a long time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Will be back very soon.

Whent in for a meal only to be told that the kitchen has closed for one hour, although the notice said food served from one till seven pm, so waited the one hour and ordered a meal, then when another one of our party Whent up to order there meal not one minute after was told that the kitchen was closed, this place has no organisation and no idea

This is "my local". I visit quite regularly and find the Bar Girls and Guys very friendly and always ready to have a chat (or leave u alone if u wish) Nice layout, outside seating for the summer. They serve very nice food till early evening, weekdays (not every day so check), Sunday lunches. Pool table and show most major football matches. Dog and child friendly...highly recommend

1st visit for years ... Great experience. Nicely refurbished, delicious food (both Sunday roast and vegetable lasagne) good beer, friendly service. And dog friendly. Recommended.

Real great local, bargain price for two course Sunday lunch

Only Tim Taylor's Landlord on during my last visit. It was a good pint, but a choice would have been nicer. Hope the pub well, the lady behind the bar was great.

All the food was excellent apart from the Dauphenoise potatoes which were very under cooked, our table had 3 servings and they were all the same. Staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was good.

Went for Sunday lunch with the extended family. Food was good, but choices were restricted.

Nice food, pub looks to have been done up over the last year or so. More real ales needed though, used to have a great selection with new ales on every few days, was always the highlight of every visit. In recent visits I've only seen Landlord and Leeds Pale each time.

Came here and had a lovely roast dinner, highly recommend and I Will definitely be coming back soon. Beer was also reasonably priced and lovely staff.

Went to an Christmas dinner organised by my club. Booked weeks ago When arrived was told there was no food as Chef had cut his finger. Nobody rang organiser to tell them this. So 16 people turned up and was told no food. So complete waste for a lot of us had travelled 1 hour or more to meet there. Being close to Christmas there was nowhere near available. Also doubted story as if Chef was injured there would still be something there as most things are cooked/ prepared in advance. And not just by 1 person. And if Chef did that would of been first thing in morning as they started to prepare meals so plenty of time to ring to explain and give time to try rearrange.

Nice big pub, with a load of seating. Good spot to either start or finish a little Farsley pub crawl. Decent beer selection, pretty standard pricing.

Sunday lunch was lovely, good family orintated family friendly atmosphere, staff fabulous.

Had drinks but the food looked delicious

After waiting 10 minutes at the bar we were told our seats were in the back and left to our own devices. The food took less time to arrive after ordering. The veg; for two, was in a dish and the utensils to take it out were the ones we were using to eat with. Highly unhygienic. The gammon tasted like it was out of a bag, rubbery, and not a real roast. The mash was solid. The roasts were bland, reheated. The gravy boat, unused, we watched being given to another table on our departure. £30 with a pint and a half to drink. They should be ashamed. Not once asked if everything was ok. The salt was taken from the table halfway through to be used in the kitchen. Shame really as it was the only thing on the table with taste. New chef……really!! Must be on cheap wages!!

4.9.22.Had a lovely sunday lunch here and had the best steak pie ever! All four of our meals were lovely. Pub was very busy so slight wait for the meal but it was worth the wait. Will be back. 😊

Lovely sat outside in sunshine, even though next to the road. Food lovely, Sirloin on Menu, but only had rump, which was same price for cheaper cut. However it was cooked well and tasty.

I use to come here all the time. It's all changed, which can sometimes be good. This time, it wasn't. The service was practically none existent. Staff seemed fed up. Asked them about starters and they seemed annoyed about it. We ordered 4 sunday dinners. Beef was inedible. Advised the staff, they didn't care and still charged us full price, which is ok but to say none of us ate the beef, you would of thought it would have been taken off the bill. Booked the table aswell via phone in the morning and it wasn't noted, more of a walk in pub these days with below par food. Won't be going again untill they change management which is often so... 😂

A really good pub with very good facilities in a great community of Farsley: but the last few times I've been have been let down by the beer. On one recent visit there were no hand pulled ales available.

Virtually empty, seated into a corner by the door. S. L. O. W service and miserable! Will not be returning (and I only live round the corner).

Very sad and disappointed. The Fleece used to be our favourite go to pub for a Sunday lunch treat, the ale and food was the best in the area. When we saw advertertised a new chef, new menu we very much looking forward to an excellent Father's day family meal. Unfortunately there was only one hand pulled beer available which was either the end of the barrel or not kept very well, the food was extremely disappointing. The pub was not very busy and still the staff kept forgetting we were there. The prices were for very high food, but it was not! Sadly we will not be returning again.

Just had sunday lunch, Covid protacol beeing followed, freindly staff excellent Roast Pork with all the trimmings, good sized portions very good all round will go there againe.

Good beer and friendly efficient staff. However, fortunately I sat outside as covid protocols not being met. For example, four large and loud blokes sat at the bar in close proximity to the entrance and those waiting to be served, as well as aerosoling the poor staff behind the bar (not in masks).

Very slow service dirty table dessert s Were terrible sundaes just a dish of Chocolate ice cream for 4.99 obviously understaffed but shouldn't have taken a Booking for a large party if they couldn't do it.

We met for a ladies get together. We had a nice afternoon / evening.

Haven't visited the fleece for nearly 20 years since I lived nearby. Wow what a change really impressed with the décor.Interested to see what the food is like on my next visit. As food was not an option in my days living there.

Beautiful decoration and furniture, food really good for price. We had pensioner's 3 course for £10, the garlic mushrooms were devine. Homemade chips Hunters chicken and peas. Choc fudge cake clotted cream ice cream. 2 glasses wine lge £5.25 each, Recorderlik Cider £3.95. Full up then si had to go home. Staff were delightful and friendly. Very good pub, thank you.
