The fish shop, kippax in Leeds

We got fish and chips with some curry sauce on the side. The fish was cooked fresh. Chips were amazing. The lady and gentlemen behind the counter make your day. Soo welcoming and chatty. My partner said it was the best fish and chips he's had which I agree. Will definitely be back to visit again 🙂

Normalmente vamos a Central Fisheries en Kippax, pero cuando estaba cerrado visitamos la Tienda de Pescado. He estado aquí antes, así que no fue un viaje a lo desconocido. Confieso que soy un consumidor habitual de Fish & Chip y que como todo Yorkshire, Bramhope, Shadwell, Ilkley, Crossgates, Settle, Guiseley, Wetherby, pero lo mejor de todo es The Fish Shop en Kippax. El pescado aquí es siempre de la más alta calidad, cocinado a la orden y a la perfección. Los chips son desperdicios cero, no hay chips viejos, no hay chips de tierra, todos parecen ser ordenados a mano para la máxima calidad y disfrute. Hay 3 Fish & Chip Shops en Kippax, así que es fácil confundirse, pero para mí, esta es la mejor, no solo en Kippax sino en Yorkshire. Mantengan el buen trabajo, chicos, volverán pronto y siempre traerán a nuestros amigos de Canadá, fue una experiencia especial para ellos.

Had fish and chips from here a couple of weeks ago and it was horrible but thought we would give it another go and just ordered some chips and they weren't even cooked! Never again.

We got four orders of fish and chips and two orders of sausage and chips this evening, and had a great experience. The portions were huge, and the fish was freshly cooked to order. Everyone was pleased with their food, the staff was very friendly, and they were very helpful with our special requests.

Been on and off, the lady face behind the counter looks miserable enough to put a damper on the rest of your day. The chips sometimes are hard, not nice at all.

Allways high quality and allways freshly cooked fish. Might take a couple of minutes while they cook your fish but worth the wait

Gorgeous Fish and Chips with a tub of curry sauce. Was surprised at the size of the fish to be fair. It was HUGE. The chaps behind the counter were spot on and very fast. The meal itself was absolutely incredible. Top chippy in Leeds!!!!!

Got my portions at dinner time. Great freshly prepared food from very friendly staff. Very flavourable and tasty.

We have three fish and chip shops in kippax , I will only ever go to this one , its the best by far. All fish are cooked fresh on entering the shop , all staff are very poilite , the food is alway lovely and the fish are big too . The shop is clean and the decore is very up market . I would give this fish shop ten out of ten , well done to all that work there .

This is my local chippy, and the fish and chips are absolutely lovely, they should be nominated for an award. This is not to mention these absolute A* service, the guys who owns it clearly makes sure all his staff speak to to customer with the upmost respect. Not what you unusually expect from a chippy, but it just makes you want to go ever week. The decor is good too, nice picture of a Ray on the ceiling!
