I visited this fish and chips shop on Sunday, I am amazed by the taste of the food and the freshness and the big size portions. Also the friendly staff. Highly recommend

Delicious food, hot and quick delivery. Chicken Kebab never fails, tasty and huge!! COD was well cooked and again excellent sized portion.

Superb batter on the fish was lovely and crispy fish was really white. Chips were excellent curry sauce was spot on. All the food piping hot and fresh. The delivery driver is really nice. Plus delivered in no time at’ll.Thanks

This is the worst thing I have ever eaten, putrid cheese, rotten lettuce, rancid meat. Extremely sick after eating this food, been reported to enviromental health, hopefully they will get shut forever. Avoid like the plague, worst food in 100 mile radius

The delivery driver was extremely rude when he came to the door. I understand we ordered late but you can cancel orders and also turn orders off if you didn’t want orders past 9:30. There was no need to be that rude at the door.

I have been a regular here for a while. The cod and chips is tasty but the old man who takes payments was annoying and rude during my last visit. I have always made my order Standing near the main counter but he abruptly told me to queue behind a couple who had arrived after me to the side. Be clearer on your processes!

I had my chicken shish delivered from this shop, it's perfectly cooked grilled served with fresh mixed salad, the portion is more than I expected and also comes with chucky chips and pita bread. I did not managed to finished and had it the next day and still tasted good. I thought this shop only offered fish and chips, glad that there is a local Turkish kebab. Friendly staff and good service too.

I had a very disappointing experience with my recent order from this kebab place. Firstly, the order was completely wrong. I received items I didn't ask for and some of the things I did order were missing. Secondly, the chips I received were inedible. They were covered in what seemed like sand or grit. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety. I won't be ordering from here again and I advise others to be cautious.

I had a bad experience in this restaurant, I ordered shaurma with lamb, but after two hours I felt very sick with stomach pains, so obviously the meal was spoiled. It is not acceptable!!!

Prices are decent although service isn’t great , raw chips given .

Ordered a halloumi wrap. On ordering , when choosing the salad, you could only select cabbage or lettuce or tomato or cucumber , not all…. The wrap came with just cabbage and halloumi! No sauce, no other salad! Very dry, and basic.. disappointing!

What a mess with their order collection / organisation system. They need order numbers and better tracking of orders. Seems like the managers / owners are too micromanaging and stuck on process and not customer value.

3 x cod and chips 1 x chicken and mushroom pie with chips. Cod , chips lovely pie turned out to be a plain over cooked sausage. Very disappointed. To far to go back

Quick delivery. I tried chicken kebab wrap for a change. I think the wrap was okay. The chicken was nice, but I think it'd be better if they had chicken doner instead. They should definitely try doing a Adana kebab wrap.

Good fish and chips. I had a large cod with chips. I enjoyed the chips. The cod lacked flavour but was okay. The price and portion size of my meal was really good.

Ordered 2 mixed kebabs, I didn't expect the amount of food we received. It was fresh and hot and absolutely delicious. We've never had a bad meal from there.

I have lived on the estate all my life and always had fish and chips from the old chippy always very good was worried when they pulled it down end of an era, but no need to worry here's to a new era excellent and staff are friendly to 👍

Came here as our usual chippy was closed due to family issues as stated on there site. The od is soooo tasteless. I believe it's not real cod. Cobblers or hake. I wont be returning, waste of £25 and a dinner night we have been waiting for in ages. Also the hygiene rating is for the sandwich bar not the chips shop. THIS IS FRAUD

Kebab was cut way too thick and chunky, also tasteless. Jumbo battered sausage was greasy, soggy and tasteless. Chips were cooked fresh and yet only "okay" Wouldn't eat here again Sorry! Side note, the staff are very presentable and well mannered, the decor is great and the place is very clean! Just the food let's it down!

Cold Kebab luke warm fish and chips and mushy peas that resembled pea soup. All delivered 1/2 hour late. Not the best certainly wont order from there again.

My Haddock was burnt, underneath. It was tasteless and felt rubbery!! Most of the chips had bad bit's on. To which I thew away!! I won't be using them again!!

Excellent service, the guys that work here are always very happy, and they make the place even more accommodating! There are a few different chip shops in the area, but since this one has opened, I can't see myself going anywhere else! I would recommend to anyone that loves traditional fish and chips!

Second time I have been in to the fish and chips shop. First time nobody spoke to me just to tell me the amount.. and this time same thing totally ignored when I said hello, thought maybe they didn’t hear me so asked for small chips please. Still ignored.. this is just my experience. I wish them well with their business but I won’t be going in again.

Fantastic staff, great chips ...tbh I am not a big fan of fish in general but I love their premises, clean , professional.... perfect for carpenters Park. Car park is right behind the building , pretty big one. Cheers guys and will see you around

Good fish and chips, quick service, friendly and efficient staff. Sensible prices. A small car park behind, gets very busy Friday evenings. They do really good value for money lunch options.

Paid almost £10 for cod and chip -so expensive but I thought its worth a try it was greasy and lukewarm. I wouldn't be going there again.

Have always enjoyed fish and chips from here, but sadly this evening ( sat 12th Sept) it was very disappointing. Good size portion as usual, but fish wasnt nice and the chips were hard and tasted double cooked! Disappointed!

Lovely food and resinable prices

Feels ike gone downhill last few weeks. Food tastes like it's cooked in old oil, chips are dry and not very nice at all

Food is very well prepared and packaged so it is always still hot once you get it home, good choice on the menu and the fish selection always seems to be well stocked and the chips have a good balance of softness to crunch. Some items on the menu have to be cooked to order but never waiting to long and the shop unit has chairs for you to sit and wait at. Pricing seems to be at today's pitch but they are offering specials around lunchtimes and alike so can be very good value for money.

Excellent, welcoming professional service, quality food cooked to order so always fresh and hot and only a few minutes wait. Their lunch time deals look good and the Cod Goujons and chips are AMAZING. They're mini fish fillets, (not the usual cheap fish flakes mashed together) and good chunky fish shop chips well cooked. I'm definitely going to be a regular.

We thought we would try the new fish & chip shop in South Oxhey as we had heard good reports on it from friends, so 7.00pm on a Friday there was a short queue, we were served fairly quickly, but had to wait longer than normal as we ordered haddock which was cooked to order, so was expected. The service was good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. When we got home I found my fish portion to be huge, the large portion of chips was so large there was enough to put a portion in the freezer for another day. The chips were then put into our air fryer to reheat and crisp off, and they were delicious, as was the haddock. All in all a very pleasing experience, and we both would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who loves their fish and chips to give it a try.

Food was deliciously fresh, portion size huge, prices reasonable, shop spotlessly clean and staff polite and chatty 😊 overall 5 stars from us.

So glad this is finally open. I had chips and a sausages and it was delicious. Curry sauce is also delicious here. Food tastes really fresh and clean (even though we know it's fried). Staff are friendly. The shop is clean. Wheelchair access on the flat. Free parking at the back of the shop. Seating area inside to eat in if you like. Jazzy decor.

Top notch, reasonably priced (accepts cards) and the shop looks great.
