The Fiddlers Three in Gateshead

Local pub/eaterier good food well priced.didnt eat today just had a drink.

Took my son & daughter in law who live loc Al & recommended the fiddlers & we wernt disappointed everything was spot on

Nice fish and chips for a very reasonable price.

Had a meal here today 20th June 24, three out of four meals were OK, typical pub grub. But the fourth Fish and chips was disgusting, the fish was the poorest I've ever seen hardly any actual fish on it, over cooked to the point you couldn't cut it let alone eat it. Did complain near the end of the meal when there was still enough there to see how poor it was but was told they would inform the "chef" and that was it. The "Chef" should never have even attempted to cook it never mind send it out. Avoid because the complaint procedure is none existent. After spending £80 on food and drinks the fish and chips should have been refunded instead of the better luck next time approach

Nice and tasty food, good prices and nice atmosphere

The food was really nice but I found it not hot enough and it was so warm the amount of people it was very crowded and there was no window to open where we were sitting

Good choice of drinks and plenty of places to sit. Staff are very friendly polite and professional. Good for watching sports too, plenty of free parking for the designated driver. Definitely worth a visit. Had a lovely time on new year's eve bar was buzzing great atmosphere. Excellent

Been dining here on a regular basis, the Sunday roast or roast of the day has been exceptional quality. Had beef and horseradish sauce was delicious. Staff have never been anything other than first class.

Lovely looking outdoors terrible inside it's a haven for the criminally unemployed loud and annoying chavvy music blaring on the speakers obnoxious tosspots vomiting lyric poison into the air and stood at the bar for six.minutes whilst the barmaid chats up the mongoloids that seem to populate this bar now do you self a favour and stay away unless youre one of the patrons then I have no doubt you'll keep frequenting this establishment and my words will mean nothing to you as you'll not be able to grasp the vocabulary throughout this review

Went for the Christmas menu and for the most part was good. However,I don't think the chef has seen a Yorkshire before as it was not only flat, but incredibly stodgy, and the roasties could've done longer in the oven The cheesecake wasn't a cheesecake at all, the base was absolutely rock solid and the topping wasn't set

Good food served and quickly bearing in mind it was busy with reasonable prices, the staff are very friendly and efficient, bar prices are just normal pub prices we had a good night thankyou.

Another lovely pub in Gateshead for food and I can't fault the place. Service was quick and polite with the staff being friendly throughout. Reasonably priced and would definitely come here again.

Ordered a pizza and was very happy to find that it was delicious. Very generous portions for a great price. Had a lunch time special.... everyone else loved their meals too

I don't know why garden peas is the only Vegtables they do other than a Sunday. I got mince and dumplings which was a poor choice as it was a dolop of mashed potato swimming in a bowl of gravy with a few bits of chunky mince sunken around, with a rock hoyed in (rock hard dumpling) with a few garden peas floating about. Poorly presented and rubbish food, disappointing for the price.

Fantastic carvery at first I thought a bit pricey. But for what we got even the labrador fell asleep with the meat we took home. Would defo recommend. Staff were amazing too. Will definitely be back x

After visiting the first time a few years ago I left feeling disappointed with the food, wasn't impressed at all! but I visited on Wednesday with my son & partner & had the most amazing meal, didn't want to stop eating because we all throughly enjoyed our food, was absolutely beautiful & have already recommended it to friends & family! the menu had so many options! can't wait to come back & try more dishes!

First time here in a while and it was great food was amazing, atmosphere was nice and the service was great will definitely be back as couldn't fault it.

Nice venue but can do with a little upgraded interior. Staff is friendly but from observation only it seems to be a popular eating venue.

NO SOFT PLAY. Just a friendly update that there isn’t a soft play area here anymore. It was the picture from a few year ago that misled us. The staff were lovely and apologetic though.

Throughout the months of January and February, you can enjoy an amazing £8 burger that is simply unbeatable in terms of value. Not only that, but you can also enjoy perfectly poured pints that have an abundance of bubbles, offering an incredibly refreshing and lively taste.

Excellent meal in the newly refurbished Fiddlers. The management and staff are welcoming and attentive, the food is copious and tasty and there is a wide-ranging menu covering everything from pub classics to burgers, sizzlers and pizzas. Different offers throughout the week and it was busy even on a Thursday in September so worth booking for big groups. Highly recommended.

Couldn't say anything bad about this place if I tried. Food is perfect, and there's plenty of it. Excellent service as always from the friendly staff. Great value for money 💰

Nice pub, but IPA beer price was v. high for an "out of city ctr" pub. Band playing were V. Good, but sound was spoilt by being able to hear the noisy "music? " from the bar area. I'm not sure if the little speaker in the top corner of the lounge music room that I was in, was playing the bar music? If so, why? I would possibly return to see if sound was any better, And check the other drink prices.

Decent atmosphere, friendly staff and locals. Definately recommend for a drink...yet to try the food , but seems popular!

Lovely family meal here... the sizzle plates are fantastic! Cajun chicken and steak is a must try.

Service and waiting time spot on had mince and dumpling but dumplings are not traditional dumplings no suet very dry but other meals in the restaurant look very good

First time here and won't be our last..staff very attentive..good didn't take long to come out and it was beautiful..not your normal pub grub either....couldn't even get a starter as was so full from our mains.

Cant rate this place enough, I go at least twice a week for lunch with my 4 year old. The food is piping hot and loads of it, kids meals only £2 all through school holidays ... staff are so approachable and friendly, dining area is light and airy and always nipping clean. A must visit destination for top quality food and service.

Had chicken Gyros and it was delicious. Kids had Spaghetti bolognese from kids menu and the portion size would be good for me let alone kids. Great value and good food.

Excellent food and great value for money. Portions are extremely generous and very tasty. We had mince & dumplings, lamb kofta from the specials board, Greek gyros and a kids pizza. Zero complaints about any of our meals! Pints were cold and the food delicious, what more could you want? Definitely recommend!

Treated my sister for her birthday today. We ordered fish goujons and chicken giro both with chunky chips disappointed with the goujons as you got 1 and a couple of scrappy bits, although I don’t like to complain I thought it was poor but to be fair to the staff when my sister said she would have ordered a fish instead had she have known they did change it at no extra cost. Lady On The next table to us had ordered the same and got 2 goujons. My sister and I have gone there every couple of weeks for lunch until lockdown under the previous owners and were never disappointed. The new owners have made a lot of changes for the better and there sandwiches looked lovely so although a bit disappointed we would still go back.

Updated under new management. Food great, excellent value for money, new menu loads of choice. Outdoor seating available. Staff brilliant good friendly atmosphere would highly recommend. If I had to pick a fault toilets could do with updating. Well done to the new management should do well 👍👍👍.

Fantastic carvery for a good price, we will be back soon, got a tray with left over meat for dog as portions very generous. Definitely worth a visit.

Good quality food served in clean, pleasant surroundings. Happy, well mannered ,helpful staff.

Ordered the pizza, it was really tasty, family ordered other dishes and everyone was happy. Had a few drinks and listened to the really good singer there on Easter Sunday, happy to recommend it.

Really excellent food but maybe a bit too much (but is that a problem?) Didn't expect live music...the young group was fantastic. First live music we've seen for two years...tremendous thank you..we will be back.
