I was dj at this venue last week pretty decent size not to bad for loading nice staff

Was here for a medium night with the amazing hayley hope it was amazing

New management looking forward to the new attractions

Good atmosphere ,nice pint of bitter and very reasonably priced

Such a Fantastic atmosphere, rubbish at the quizz though. Look forward to going again in the future.

OK local bar but expensive no food available

Used the plough for a wake. Can't fault it. And buffet was enjoyed by everyone.

Been today for lunch, the 2 ladies on the bar were very friendly, think her name is Lorraine is a total asset to the pub. Keep up the good work girls.

Absolutely terrible, lasagne was burnt, burger was black and top of dumpling was so hard it couldn't be cut. Half home cut chips and half frozen French fries, mash was really dry Total contrast of previous orders

Revitalised pub part of the community. Recently introduced food lovely breakfast buffet style. Good food all day during opening hours

Hint to the owner, we called in for 3 Sunday lunches to take away, we were served with things we didn’t like. I.E cauliflower cheese garden peas. The whole point of having a carvery is to choose your own food. There is no menu as to what is available. Very disappointed.

Just called in to get something to eat I had my small well trained dog with me and had noted that a Google review by new owners said they are dog friendly. (see below). On entering I was immediately ordered out of the pub in a very unfriendly verging on aggressive manner. I tryed to discuss the issue and said that I had checked online the owner stated the pub was dog friendly. The person just said that they would be shut down by Environmental health if a dog was allowed on the premises, she then ordered me to leave immediately as she walked off into the back. My experience indicates that this place is not very friendly and worse they are not aware of there legal rights and regulations. Obviously businesses can decide not to allow dogs but if they do they should not put on a public forum that they are dog friendly. I have put details of the legal position below. Dogs in pubs, restaurants and cafes There is no law or any health and safety regulations that ban dogs from being in premises where food and drink is served or sold; however they must not enter areas where food is prepared, handled or stored, for example the kitchen. It’s up to the owner of establishments that serve food and drink whether they’d like to welcome dogs to join in the fun or not. Law: Food Hygiene Regulations 2013, under EU Regulation (EC) 852/2004, Annex II

It ok in here went with my dad for a quick pint I have been in much worse places than this

Took over Plough January 2019. Although we don't do meals yet. We do offer a selection of of drinks. Enjoy a few gins or cocktails. It's a nice friendly pub. So pop in and join us. Nice clean, dog and child friendly pub

Went for Sunday dinner and we weren't disappointed! The staff were spot on and the food was lovely. We will definitely be going back. The place wasn't very busy but I think this will change as soon as word gets around .
