Went for lunch last Saturday food wash delicious service was excellent very clean plenty of choice on the menu Looking forward to going again

Very good value for money. I had a steak which was cooked just as I ordered it. Carolyn had a veggie curry which she thoroughly enjoyed. We had a bottle of wine and the whole lot came to just over £52 including desserts. We ate there before going to see a show in the theatre and wasn't expecting much, but having been once, will definitely go again. A fight between two guys broke out while we were there, but that just added to the entertainment.

We hadn't booked but they fitted us in and were so polite and friendly.

Was a daily customer for a week over a month ago. Met Josh. Josh was the best bartender I ever met. Had fun talking with Josh and my friend 10/10 place. Will comeback. + I didin't hesitate to tip Josh 10£

Great place to stop for a beer on the way to or from shops.

Four of us ate here on Sunday before the Cirque show The staff were so lovely. One had Sunday Roast Beef. Three had jackets with varied toppings. We all enjoyed the food. Desserts were disappointing but passable with soft drinks the bill was £63 which we thought was very good! It’s not posh but we would eat there again

Great place to have a refreshing pint after a hard days grafting. Very welcoming and good selection of drinks. Live sports in both parts of the bar. There is plenty of seating inside and out. Food was good as well. I'll definitely be going again

We went in yesterday for bacon bap etc brunch. Good quality bacon pleasant and friendly staff ( Wendy ) working on a very very hot day.

First visit back at this venue in a number of years. Service & staff were great. Food however left much to be desired. I had the lasagne which was not as expected. Only one layer thick with a teaspoon of bland mince. Lots of cheese on the top - too much for the size of dish, but it was only just melted, not crispy & piping hot as expected. My friend had a painful, & side it was "okay", but not something she would go back for. Good atmosphere, so great for drinks & a catch up.

Disgusting attitude from an old bag working on a bar! Only in Peterborough could a business allow staff be that unbelievably rude to a customer and still be in business. I should go back in the bar and get her name to report her to the owner but she peobably is the owner. Disgustingly bad attitude from an old woman, your lucky your the only pub next to a Theatre.

I can't complain, to be honest.

OK venue. Need to update and improve menu. A little boring with frozen produce.

Went last night for the first time. Food was excellent and Wendy the waitress was an absolute trooper working flat out all night. We highly recommend and will definitely be going back again

What a great place! A wonderful pit stop to catch up on the goings on in sport whilst enjoying a pint. A lovely staff member as well who was great to talk to and I'm certainly looking forward to visiting again soon

Yesterday we had my dad's Wake at the Fayre Spot and I just can't thank Wendy enough for looking after us all so well. Nothing was too much bother and she had everything in hand. The food was wonderful and there was plenty of it. Everyone said how lovely it was. Thank you to all the staff at the Fayre Spot. We couldn't have chosen better. Julie x

After the funeral we held our Wake at The Fayre Spot 😔 the staff helped us have a good day ( for a sad day ) with plenty of food in a closed-off arrear, they even turned-off the music 🎶.🤝 The food supplied exserted the price for it, with plenty left over Very recommended ***** +

Cheap beer and a pool table. What more could you want on Christmas Eve?! Edit: the pool table is removed at 3:15pm on Christmas Eve until Boxing Day (minus 1 star)

We held the wake for my husband's funeral here today (13 Dec 22) and it was excellent. The staff were most helpful and efficient, the food was excellent and everything ran like clockwork.

Good wholesome food at a reasonable price and definitely great service from the staff. Would definitely recommend it as the place to go for pre-theatre dinner

Nice local pub in the Cresset centre. Mostly local clients, I would guess. Easily missed but well worth a visit.

Booked just over 24 hours before the reservation (yesterday afternoon), the man that answered the phone didn't even listen from the get go. I asked to reserve a table of 2 for tomorrow (tonight now) he said fully booked tonight sorry so I corrected him and explained I was looking for the next night he said oh ok yes that booked in. Thought all was well until I arrive at the restaurant to find out that the man on the phone booked us in at the wrong time and the restaurant was not even open tonight and that I had to eat elsewhere. Absolute disgrace which has meant that instead of a hot meal that I had anticipated I had to settle for cold expensive petrol stop food as I did not have time to arrange anything else before the show I was due to see. Not 1 staff member thought to inform us the restaurant was closed in the 24 hours the booking was made! Staff offered no form of compensation or alternative solution. WILL NOT BE RETURNING! DISGUSTING TREATMENT.

You go in for a quiet pint and a chat with locals/regulars and you might get a smile or a blank look from staff. Amazed that they don’t know what a cider and black is. Unprofessional behaviour and waiting time at the bar could be better if staff put their cigarettes down

Nice display of mirrors and live footy. Food good staff accomodating.

Poped in before a show. Very very busy but staff were great. Ordered a burger and chips which despite the busyness of the place turned up very quickly and was of great quality. Would definitely recommend .

Run by inexperienced staff, service not great ,lack of keeping a orderly pub. Shame could be a nice place with a manager on the premises

First time out in a while was a freindly pub good atmosphere the live act was questionable but everyone Had fun Problem with the lemonade kept giving me soda water but replaced it straight away staff was very helpful and freindly great night out

Staff pleasant and helpful, we had a breakfast here this morning with tea and coffee, very quiet ,nothing was too much trouble, nice to choose our own items for breakfast as we like different items.

Good community pub, friendly staff, traditional pub food, and guest real ales. Local entertainment and sport on the big screen for football fans.

Had a family meal after scattering my partners dad's ashes as her mum had memories of dropping in there with him when shopping, saddly service wa appalling as was the food food was cold and order wrong.

Booked at table Monday night for Saturday evening. Once arrived was told no table booked booking hadn't been written down. Table was then sorted once order was taken waited over an hour for our food which then eventually turned up with veg was missing was so bad had to send it back..the waitress was doing her best to keep a full restaurant running on her own no idea what the chief was doing!!

It's OK. Nothing outstanding but nothing unpleasant either. Clean and reasonably priced. Typical Estate type pub really. Had a decent pint but no food. Gents toilets very clean.

This is by far the best place with covid 19 measures in place you feel well look after by great team of staff food and drink very good

Some of the bar staff really need to be shown just how to work behind a bar, they have NO idea. Giving out soft drinks in bottles with no glass or straws, does the bar staff not know that these bottle before being delivered by the dray could have had rats on them etc. Customer service with some staff is terrible, really ignorant.

Have been a sort of regular as this place is my local Pub. First time I asked for food from the menu - Lamb Shank Very impressed indeed, quality, flavor and size of the portion. The service, like always, outstanding! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is based on a single experience, bear that in mind when considering this review. Food choice limited due to it being a show night at the Cresset. What food there was came out cold and tasteless. Giving two stars for the friendly bar staff. Will only have drinks if we visit again.

Great service and friendly staff. Only issue was the beef sunday roast was so tough I needed a steak knife to cut it. My partners pork was absolutely perfect so just bad luck on my part? Staff were very accomodating and deducted my beef from the bill without being asked. Will definately eat there again.

Food is Decent, Staff are friendly, and prices are not to bad for your local pub. good facilities and up to date modern decor.

Recently refurbished. Nice enough. Same old drinks. Same for the menu. The service was v good and the staff helpful and friendly. The prices won't won't send you to the A & E, which incidentally is not v far away at all. Put your prejudices aside and pop in. You'll be surprised, as long as your expectations are not sky-high.

Friendly staff. Food was delicious, also reasonably priced.

Decent atmosphere. Friendly staff I have to remember to try more of the menu there. Recommend they're breakfasts though

I always go here for a weekend fry up. It's not a set breakfast you pick set amount and pick what food you want. They always bring toys for kids. Great selection of Cold and hot drinks. And varied pub style menu

Excellent Entertainment with REPOSE Fantastic 5 piece Band 4 Brothers from Bretton playing their Local Pub. Be nice if more People were here to support these Guys But They still had a good response from the crowd that were here. Good venue for live entertainment. And good bar staff too👍🍺🥂

Visited with young person I support, very clean, well lit, welcoming atmosphere & no gobshites. Will return soon.

i chose fish in a beer batter with chips and peas because it sounded really good on the menu and i was salivating until it arrived, but once i started eating it i realised : ((( ... that the fish was all watery and tasteless and the batter didn't seem as if it was cooked on the inside ... i am not a fussy eater but it wasn't a nice meal ... the chips were ok but just ok and the peas were mushy but they didn't taste nice and i had a lemon and lime drink and i was charged £11 something (can't remember) but i could hardly eat any of the meal so it was an expensive experience and i would not recommend and i would never go there again! : '( sorry!

I go there sometimes for a fryed breakfast it's really nice. You can pick what you want each item cost 75p, the quality of the food is very good, also the service is is good too.

Terrible service (40 minutes from ordering to receiving) food was virtually inedible - how can you destroy 2 omelettes? Go to the Fayre Spot!
