First time I have visited The Fat Pheasant but won't be last. Lovely place, from walking through door the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. I ordered Breakfast Muffin of sausage, bacon and egg and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Also left with a jar of locally made jam and a piece of artwork. Well worth a visit.

Good coffee and good food. Lovely scones and good light lunches. A very good log fire burning, good service and friendly staff. Cakes look good but did not try. Dogs welcome which is an advantage.

Cold... no radiators on. Processed white bread for soup and sandwiches. Soup brought in and measley portions if meat fillings... plenty of pesto though. Salad dressing only saving grace. no one asked if all ok and seemed disinterested in commwnts and took my £25 without comment too. Sad because lovely interior.

Llamado para pescado y patatas fritas para compartir - £ 10. Abrió la caja para encontrar el pescado en tres piezas. Sabor a aceite rancio tanto para pescado como para patatas fritas. Verdaderamente el peor pescado con papas fritas que he comido.

Do not spend your hard earned money here. Made mistake of ordering fish and chips twice. But what I should have ordered was the classic which comes with curry sauce, peas. etc So my mistake. However when I went back to ask where the peas were, I didn't get a great welcome. Pea's are extra, So I had to pay £3 for two crappy tubs of peas. After spending £21 on fish and chips. THEY ARE THE WORST I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME. Save your money.......

If you’re into modern country music this is the bar to go to in Scarborough! Went in early doors and it was country music all the way( ok there was a little bit of Irish folk in between but that’s almost country). Great to see a bar catching onto the fastest growing genre of music in the uk. Brilliant!
