Looks abandoned... perhaps permanently closed???

So wanted some Greek food this evening, website showing as open seven days a week from 2p.m to 10p.m arrived at 5:30p.m everything dark and closed up. Telephone number not operational. Seems to have gone out of business.

What a disappointment! Early Friday evening and they have "no supplies", so it's just a choice of chicken or sausage skewers. Is this a serious business? !! First and last visit for me!

Well I have eaten here quite a few times food is always fresh and always a great experience one of our goto places. Tonight was definitely not a great one and sad to say my last visit. Started off not much in stock chicken skewers or Halloumi from a apologetic member of staff can't be helped. We went for what they had. Apon ordering paying and sitting down and realising there was a dead fly on the table we then realised the shop was covered in flys me and my daughter counted 10 on the walls. Slightly off putting to say the least. Anyway feeling a little overwhelmed by the situation our food arrived and looked good as always giving us a some contement. Having to swat flys away at least 3 times during our sit in meal it became too much. We asked for a box to take our food away to which we where given one as my wife went to pack the food away there was a dead fly in the empty box I placed the box on the table and informed the staff they have a serious fly problem and that we found a dead fly in the box. I was offered another box at this point I just wanted to leave without left over food. I mentioned that it would be a good idea to get a fly killer and that I had never seen so many flys in a eatery. Such a shame £38 gone and a terrible eating experience for the 3 of us in one of our favourite places to eat. Wasn't until the way home that my wife said we really shouldn't of even eaten food really. Yep.

I have ordered 2 too good to go bags from here and based on that I need to try everything else! The food is wonderful, the chips especially the sweet potato fries are the best I've had. And the best halloumi I've had. Am planning to try more!0

If you are expecting meat DO NOT BUY THE SLOUVAKI, common practice is put close to no meat and just send and serve. Ordered from 3 different houses to give multiple chances, regardless of the presentation, the main problem is the quantity of meat, it amounts to one tablespoon of chicken.

Just had this as a takeaway and I’m blown away. Can’t wait to visit and get it even fresher in person.

Staff polite and friendly and the food is great. Can't fault it at all, will be back again!

Great food that's tasty, affordable and good value for money - would definitely recommend the gyros wraps! Staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back when in the area!

Love this place. The food, the staff and even the prices are superb. We tried it just over a month ago, have been back 5 or 6 times already and haven't had any other takeaway since. We enjoy the food so much. Portion sizes are big, so perfect if you're hungry, or you can always save it for later 😉 the staff go above and beyond. I've requested changes to our orders and they have always catered without hesitation. Will definitely make it a regular choice. Definitely recommend The Fact Olive Company 🫒 👌

Yes, best Gyros in town. Just been to Crete, and I prefer Ipswich one.

Great Gyros one of the best I've had in Ipswich. Get some Greek cooked meals on the menu too please. Moussaka, pastitsio, etc there are loads of Greek dishes you could add. I will definitely be ordering again.

Was staying in Ipswich for work at the Travelodge and was recommended the Fat Olive by a colleague. I have just recently returned from travelling Greece and had been craving Gyro. They did not disappoint, one of the best I have tasted, meat was amazing, I had a mix of both meats, the wrap was top notch. May have to travel to head office more often just grab one of these. Keep up the good work.
