My mum went through the drive thru and ordered a chocolate fudge brownie frappe with no coffee no cream, due to not being allowed to have caffeine for health reasons. She got to the window to pay in which so got handed a drink with cream in it. She explained to the bloke at the window that she ordered a drink with no coffee or cream, in which the workers then had a discussion and she overheard them saying “just tell her it’s got no coffee in it and just take the cream off”. In which the workers deemed it appropriate to stand at the sink and flick her cream off with HER straw. My mum then refused the drink and asked for a new one to be made, in which the workers looked around at eachother and asked my mum to go and park up whilst they make a new drink… They bought the “new drink” to her and after the first sip she realised that it didn’t taste the same as it usually does when she’s ordered it, and wasn’t sure if they’d actually made her a new drink or just changed the straw from the previous one to hide the cream.. Shocking customer service skills & most definitely need a LOT more training.

Very dirty not clean asked staff to clean a table and was told plenty of other seats to sit at it. Poor customer service floor dirty tables dirty disgusting place

Had a coffee and a latte and sat outside in the sunshine. A little bit windy but it's ok. It was clean. It was tidy. There was food still on the table ,still with cups and sauces on outside. It was nice selection of food and drink inside coffee's tea. Lots of fresh cakes and other sorts of food. good experience. The toilets clean and tide , overall quite good , the staff are really helpful and really nice, drive through. Looked busy. Will go back for another coffee soon

Had lunch stopover with my grandson. He had the raspberry and almond slice, with a chocolate babychino and I had the biscotte cheesecake with a chocolate frappé. It was very nice food and drink, with quick service and we got to sit outside in the almost sunshine.

Really good customer service, with a smile! Which seems so rare these days. A real credit to the business.

Visited with my husband for coffee and cake whilst visiting ipswich , very busy popular costa but couldnt fault the service and the friendly staff , very efficient clearing tables promptly and working together as a team effort , polite gentleman serving, the manager assisting with the hot drinks , nothing was to much trouble , nice atmosphere will definitely visit again.there is a nice seating area outside also .

Shut down the entire parking of Anglian Retail park on a Saturday at 3pm so their lorry would unload their goods.

Great friendly service. Very helpful new to their app, and he helped us. It was nice and relaxing in their. Also, I used my birthday treat, and boy their was a lovely choice of cakes, and my wife enjoyed our treat.

Always full this place, this says a lot. Price is on the margings of being too high for the quality, but altogether good.

Very busy and good atmosphere. However, It would be better if they could say we can extend the free car park if we are their customers. We didn’t know we have to give our registration number on arrival and now we’ve got a ticket!

It's a Costa, pretty much like any other. Being a bit of a coffee snob, the coffee is average. The thing I don't like is that a coffee is four pounds. I can buy a bag of good quality coffee beans, grind them in a food processor and make my own filter coffee for a lot cheaper than this and get better quality coffee. When the coffee was two pounds, I was OK with the convenience factor, but now... I don't know. I would be surprised if this Costa is here next year with the cost of living and price rises.

Best Costa I've been in. Cheerful pleasant staff, particularly girl that served me (long sort of plaited hair).

A good Costa as it goes. Loads of car parking. Can get a bit crowded at times as it's so popular. Lots of food venues on the park so a good place to eat and shop.

Costa often has good coffee, and it isn't too bad here. The service is always good and staff are friendly. The site is comfortable, and the toilets always feel clean. The only thing is that food can often be a little hit or miss at costas and it can be a little expensive if your on a tight budget.

Love coming here to unwind with my family and friends with a cuppa or Skinny Latte or something to eat. It also now has a Drive thru so it is more accessible than ever. I highly recommend Costa to everyone for a great atmosphere, surroundings and excellent customer service.

Open times are wrong. Went at 6:20 this evening, supposed to be open until 7pm according to Google, but it was closed.

I go to a few Costas and this is by far the best. The staff are really friendly and they are always coming up with new ideas for the Costa Foundation. The atmosphere is very relaxed wether to read a book, work or catch up with friends. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

So earlier today I went to order a Tropical mango frappe, I have been crazing one for weeks and I went go collect my order and I was very disappointed when I got something else, but it is still tropical mango. Turn out it was a mango cooler not a mango frappe. The service was ok

Ordered food through uber. Got drinks.... no food. Somehow missed all the food.

Second time I've had a cremated ham and cheese toastie from here. Other costa's don't overdo them so why do you? Really disappointing especially as it's not exactly a cheap sandwich.

It was late and very quiet, which wasn't an issue but can hardly say there was an atmosphere.

Lovely Costa, really like that its open a bit later. Really enjoyed my cuppa today with my kindle.. Only thing is I wish the door would close on its own, everytime someone new came through it stayed open. That along with the aircon was on in October - so it was quite cold! Other than that lovely busy and not too crowded!

Had been shopping at Smyths/B&M and Asda, decided we must take a break and Costa was our choice, service was excellent polite and with a smile (some places could learn from these girls) food was tasty and good, atmosphere was (hence 4*) very noisy, but didn't spoil our visit.

Friendly and helpful staff! Very busy during the week around lunch time but late afternoon is always nice and quiet! Can be expensive but no more expensive then any other coffee shop... Unfortunately due to Costas way of saving money, you can no longer get cinnamon in any of their Coffee Shops in the UK as it's been taken off the menu, due to this I have now changed my rating to 4 stars as it affects the taste of the drinks.

Recently refurbished.....but make sure you wrap up its always freezing!even in the recent hot weather....staff unable or unwilling to adjust or turn off the air con .suspect they must be under orders so customers don’t loiter. clearly no energy cost issues with this lot££££

I like this Costa, it's near my gym and it's the best "I'm starving" place nearby. We usually go with my friend Jessie the guide dog and her human. It has all the usual Costa features, the staff are really nice. It does get busy but there tends to be seats available and the wait in line isn't usually for long. I'm not a fan of the recent change to Marks and Spencer food but the standard Costa items like the ham toasties and muffins are great, so is the coffee

Staff are polite, very skilled, friendly, and work hard in all aspects. Restaurant is also clean, spacious and well seated.

The service and atmosphere was nice and calm. Just looks run down. Hope the upgrade is good. The loos were foul. smelling of pee.. The cost is set by the franchise so no comment. Some staff were lovely. Other just a smile. Still a nice atmosphere. Loads of regular customer satisfaction too.

Not very happy with the hygiene standards here, or customer interface apart from the Barista, lackadaisical comes to mind. Was in there for 20 mins or so, and although at the end of the day, lot's of uncleared tables . Upholstery on couches wasn't the cleanest, and the toilet,only one in use the diabled, wasn't very clean, hygienic when my wife used it, but was cleaned while we were there, again at the end of the day ready for the mmorning ?. With the latest news of Omicron I would have expected better. In retrospect the coffee and food was of it's usual high standard.

I actually Costa fan and always meet friends at Costa. Bu this place at anglia retail Park isn't the place I want to be. Loud music killing the relaxing atmosphere and people speaking very loud because they can't hear each other from the loud music.

Tables need cleaning more often, ie spillages left on tables from previous customers

Went their the other day, was told we could not sit inside as one of the staff had injured their shoulder,so short staffed and were going to close. If your short staffed you that bit harder which wouldn't take to much effort not close up. Staff give the impression they wish they were not there. Costa sort this place out,its supposed to be a pleasurable experience,not a get out and sit in your car experience.

My only wish is that they made it into a drive through

Gunky coffee as usual, but the peppermint tea was very good. I would advise they ditch the teabag/hot water method and just make tea as it should be WITH BOILING WATER.

bought cake andaswasonly the cake was edible the cookies were soggy quite disgus ting as you could tell they were old coffe e also not good I couldn't drink it my son ha d hot chocolate it was ok for the price they could make a n effort

Was pretty disgusted to see the assistant mop the toilet floor and went on to mop the floor of the cafe that's cross contamination srperate mop and bucket should be used

Just had an amazing experience at Costa. I dont usually leave reviews, but I had to- cause it was exceptional customer service. Had the most tasty hot chocolate crafted by Jack. Jack was very friendly, professional and extremely fast at making the drink. His customer service is A1! Costa don’t lose this barista, he’s 🔥

Did use click and collect through their app, but apparently employees can't be bothered to put the drink on their collection point. Still had to wait in lin line and took 20 min to get my drink. Which is now loom warm.

Delicious coffee and nice pastries, for a treat we decided to indulge and have a break. Ok you can't sit inside at the moment but you make the most of it and we had them in the car.

Big terrace space, but only 4 small tables with only 2 chairs per table aloud !! Not good 👎 I went to this Costa this morning with the intention to seat outside and have a coffee in the sun.I found a free small table but I noticed it was in the shade and the wind was a bit chilly,so I decided to move it where the sun was shining,for a more pleasant experience,making sure I was still 2m apart from the nearest table.Well... !!They told me off !! And said to me that wasn't aloud,like I committed a crime or something !! I asked the reason why,and no even the manager gave me a logical and understandable explanation. I did pointed out to him that that terrace is big enough to allocate 3 or 4 more tables, ( with social distance in place ),but he looked like he wasn't even bother the hassle,or extra work !! Why ? 🤔

Addicted to the salted caramel Frostinos.

Lovely coffee, hot chocolate, Frostino’s and toasted sandwiches.

Open and serving take away only. Most of the usual foods are still available to purchase to eat away from the premises.
