The Farmers Arms in Pembrokeshire

A local pub with regulars, a pool table and TVs for watching sport. Brilliant chap behind the bar - he's got a great laugh. Good selection of drinks as you'd expect - Double Dragons is Welsh and an excellent session bitter on par with Greene King IPA or TT's Landlord. We didn't eat here, but the menu is very similar to The Bishop's so maybe they're owned/run by the same people. Nice outdoor space for when the sun shines. Everything clean and well maintained. Definitely a good place to stop for a drink and the food offering looked good, just check when the kitchen is in action as it may not be an all day affair.

It's a very nice place to have a meal. The portions are large, and the food is delicious. Our little dog was more than welcome, and he thoroughly enjoyed some bits of sausage my mum couldn't finish. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Just had a lovely meal here. Chicken and mushroom Pie was beautiful. Wife said sausages and mash was excellent too.

Great traditional pub in St David's just a stones throw from the cathedral. Does great food and has a lovely spacious beer garden to the rear of the pub overlooking the cathedral grounds. Great place to come and eat or just have a relaxing pint.

Good food, good beer, good atmosphere. Bar service a little slow. It was busy, not many servers on and locals appeared to be getting preferential service, which is understandable, but nonetheless a little frustrating standing at a bar with no server for 5 minutes.

The beer & food are great but importantly the staff are helpful,friendly & even though it's been very busy they're still smiling. Such a feel good atmosphere. Fortunately we're local so can pop in whenever.😉😃 Check out the Specials board. Recommend sea bass. Not listed below but personally i would recommend the pork belly & a fab. flat white coffee. Enjoy

Lovely garden in the sun with no wind today. Perfect for drinking a small scrumpy and sunbathing. Inside there was a lovely wood fire.

We popped in for a cup of tea on a December afternoon. We found it a lovely little pub with a really good vibe.

Warm welcome, big open fire varied menu I went for the Angry burger 🍔 it was nice, but I'm not sure it was worth £15 have had better elsewhere. But overall very good.

Popped in here for food one evening, everywhere was very busy but we were lucky to find a table in the bar. No booking, first come, first serve. Had the fish basket myself which was lovely, very filling with just the fish and salad. Unless you eat a lot, don't order chips if you don't like wasting food. Only thing we'd complain about was that the waffle we had for dessert was solid in the middle and we unfortunately couldn't finish it. Otherwise, lovely country pub with smiley staff. Would go again.

Our favourite place in St Davids for a beer and pub food. Sit outside in the beer garden in the evening and watch, when the sun goes down, as thousands of crows descend on the cathederal to roost.

Firstly, Thankyou Jack and Mike for your warm welcome. My heart is always in my mouth when my husband orders steak 🥩 HOWEVER!!! No need to worry here. His 21 day aged steak from local butcher, Ken Davis was seasoned and cooked to perfection (rare in this case) with huge crispy onion rings, mega chips and beautifully presented side salad. I opted for a children’s portion of local sausages, mash, peas and gravy. All delicious. The, ‘Double Dragon’ ale was sampled and appreciated. The tables are swiftly cleaned between covers. There’s a lovely, cheerful atmosphere here due to the calm, efficient and warm way this pub is run. Thankyou all L&R

Great high end locally sourced pub food beautifully presented , staff were super helpful and professional. Didn't get a pic of my chicken burger and fries but it was fantastic, as we're all 17 other meals ordered. Service was fast and food was excellent. Plenty of variety for all pallets. Highly reccomended 🥰

Good drinkers pub, food OK, nothing earth shattering or local produce driven, but as a drinkers proper pub, it's got a great atmosphere . Good feeling in the beer garden and a pool table that's well used. Another good point is that the tables don't have reserved placards on to discourage people sitting there. Only downside is that I saw two of the food service staff harassing a couple to finish their meals so they could clear the tables so they could go home, I mean they literally stood over them saying "have you finished yet" which I felt this was totally out of order.

Love this pub! Every time im in the area I visit. The foods good and well priced, there's always a nice atmosphere and plenty of seating. It's dog friendly too.

Interesting old pub with a good beer garden. There’s 3 tables under a permanent wooden roofed area so even though the weather was unreliable we could still sit outside. The portions were generous and both the fish & chips and mixed seafood basket were tasty. The service was v prompt and friendly. All in all, a good find and we’d happy go back again. In fact, we were so happy to go again , we went back 2 days later. This time we had the burger and chicken Ceasar salad. The burger is cooked v rare and was bloody. The Ceasar salad is a large plate and has filets on anchovies as well as the chunks of chicken and bacon.

I am a vegan and my wife is vegetarian. There were four vegan specialities on the menu which is very common in St Davids which seems to have lots of vegan places and food. The Thai curry I had was pleasant for pub food but not acceptable for a Thai restaurant. It is always fairly bland in pubs as they have to cater for the majority of people. The food my wife got was Halloumi salad. Hers was extremely good with lots of halloumi. She had some of my rice as I ordered chips separately as I prefer chips to rice.

A nice old pub with a good traditional pub vibe inside. We had a family dinner in the beer garden. It was a lovely evening so the place was very busy. Food was a good standard for pub grub and we all enjoyed it. It's also dog and kids friendly which was perfect for us.

The staff were friendly and helped us get some drinks and food after our long drive. We stopped here before walking around St Davids Cathedral. They has a few cask ales and a Pilsner and cider for my friends. The fish & chips was huge and the burger was good with bacon. This is typical pub fare and you need to order at the bar as usual. Have someone in your party grab a table and make sure to get them a drink.

Wow, a great meal. Tasty and hot. Everything was prepared by the chefs as it should be. Thank you. We were the first ones to have been served as the kitchen was not opened when we have arrived. They were on their well deserved break.

The pub has signs everywhere in the town. This really called our attention. We stopped then just for a quick drink. We ordered some nachos that were very average. Not sure about any other food. But the were passing football in tv and the staff was nice so good for a beer

What a great pub. Good food, pleasant staff & a fab location. We headed here for an evening meal after a boat trip round Ramsey Island. No booking but there was plenty of room outside as well as inside. Good menu with a decent selection for vegetarians compared with most of the other local pubs & restaurants. We had halloumi fries with chilli jam plus sticky chicken wings for starters. Both were excellent, particularly the fries. Mains were Mexican dirty nachos (v), Spicy bean burger, Vegan curry, and Pulled pork burger. Portions were a good size, the fries were fab & all the food was really tasty & well cooked & presented. We just about had room for pudding - salted caramel torte & chocolate sundae. We definitely recommend this pub & look forward to going there again on another visit to Pembrokeshire.

Bell'atmosfera, vivace nonostante fuori stagione ed in mezzo alla settimana. Abbiamo apprezzato la Ale locale ed il sidro. Ottima la cucina. Buono l'immancabile fish&chips e le salsicce Glamorgan. Tavolo da biliardo e freccette. TV pere partite di calcio e rugby.
