Just love this place. Roaring fire in winter and a sunny and beautiful garden in summer. It's so relaxed and friendly.Amazing food and great staff. A real local and it uses local produce from the city farm allotments. A jewel box of a place!

We were at the farm in a big group last night and had an excellent time. Each of us seemed to come back to the table with the same line: ‘how great is that bartender?’ She (iris, I think) was so friendly and really made our night. Great pub.

The Farm pub is an institution of amazing ambiance and friendly people. The landlady is one of a kind and a legend. I even heard her her offering a couple a shower who were staying in an air bnb nearby who had no shower facilities.

I’ve been coming here since 1995. This place is one of the most iconic pubs in Bristol. So much party and music history has been created in this venue, and carries on to this day. Quirky and alternative. Great summer garden. Lush bar staff, always equipped with a joke and a smile. Food menu is pretty delicious nowadays. Best Buffalo wings and truffle fries in Bristol. The Landlady is a total badass babe- and she has carried on the tradition of the most excellent proprietors that have run this place for decades. If you’ve never been to the Farm, why not? Different vibes from midweek, to midnight at a weekend- and a fabulous place for a laid back long Sunday chill out. Get In!

Need an extra star for the atmosphere. This is a unique pub and very relaxing. Much easier to get to now Ashley Down station has opened.

One if the best pubs in Bristol. Incredible staff, fantastic garden and super welcoming atmosphere. Definitely visit!

Don't bother with the pizzas. I had heard the food was good here but my pizza tasted like nothing - very disappointed! The fries were decent though.

All I can say is wow the food was amaizing really hot all the way through had the lamb it's proper lamb really tasty cooked perfect for a pub set out the way it was amazing great value for money 100 percent will recommend this place and defo be coming back

Always a great place to visit in the sunshine after dancing all night or a decent walk around Purdown. The bar staff were proper sound and the food/ menu was delicious. Shout out to all the Ravers that remember DJ Dereks legendary sunday sets here in the 90s

I was here as part of a filming project rather than a patron, but the owner and staff were fantastic. Really friendly atmosphere, toilets were great, lovely beer garden and great variety of beers and ciders. Thanks for having us guys 🍻

Nice little pub a bit off the beaten track lots of alternative people not to everyone's taste, good Sunday lunch.

It's and interesting place,a little bohemian..full of green people and the left wing lovies..nurses, teachers, The garden with its heavy pall of cannabis spoke of the freedom to do as you please...however I am not sure it's the kind of smoke I would of liked my toddlers to breathe in..the lunch was adequate..the beer was good, and the conversation interesting...

Nice outside space and bar staff were friendly. Almost no vegan options and so pricey. We ordered the only vegan pizza and clarified a few times that we wanted it with vegan cheese. It took about an hour to come and had no teas and when we query this the staff member got really annoyed and was very rude to us. Eventually he took it back and half an hour later came back with a few crumbs of vegan cheese on it, still clearly annoyed. Pizza had almost no flavor and it was probably the worst vegan cheese I've had! Awful we had to pay £1.80 extra to have way less cheese than the pizzas with dairy cheese. Wouldn't recommend at all!

Friendly pub, welcoming staff, several well kept ales. We didn't eat, but the food was clearly very popular. Lots of outdoor space, much of it undercover. It's always a pleasure to pop in there.

Excellent!!! Gorgeous food cooked AND served by the chef!! Presentation: perfect. Timing: amazing Taste: exquisite Chips seasoned to perfection. Price: a little too high, but when all above is taken into account - definitely NOT a let down! Will recommend and return, plus they take cash!! Woo hoooo!!! Belissimo😋😋

We had our Christmas there for 8 people and had a superb evening! Food and service was excellent we had a great table in front of the log burner lovely atmosphere... all of our staff very happy ;-)

I had the opportunity to eat Sunday Roast with my family at The Farm. I can confidently say that it was the best I've ever eaten in the city. My relatives were also delighted, the lamb and beef were prepared perfectly and the vegetables with the sauce were masterful. Yorkshire pudding? huuuge! We also ate delicious Cauliflower Cheese and Xmas dessert, everything was very tasty. I highly recommend it, one of the places that I could call a "hidden gem" on the Bristol map. Amazing service! Excellent place not far from the center, very cozy atmosphere in winter with a fireplace, it has tables in a large garden to enjoy in good weather. I had roast lamb, unbeatable. The magnificent service. My congratulations.

We had a Sunday roast which was very tasty. The atmos was great with a nice family vibe. My only gripe was that one of our party has a gluten intolerance and they weren't prepared to reduce the £16 cost of a roast despite the fact that this meant that she couldn't eat quite a few things on the plate.

Had an amazing time here, the staff are great such a funny bunch, they let us stay right till the very end chatting with them meanwhile the owner hairdryed my friends wet trousers dry and one of the other workers was even sharing her twiglits with me. Can’t wait to come again

When I was there I accidentally spilt a drink all over myself and got absolutely soaked, the amazing manager who had beautiful red hair then used a hair dryer to dry me off, 5 star treatment would definitely go again but try not throw my drink down myself again

This pub is always filled with locals who love it, which gives it a great atmosphere. You might think that it is at its best in the summer when it's massive garden is filled with families, basking in the sun, enjoying their food and taking time out from their mundane routines. But The Farm in the colder months will also surprise you! There's a large patio area, covered with a marquee, giving it a festival like atmosphere, encouraging revellers to enjoy their escape. There's also a good amount of music events which are also an excellent time to let your hair down and have a flipping good dance, surrounded by happy people. 💜

Avoid if possible, the staff is rude and racists, kids running around all the time and screaming. The food and the drinks are extremely expensive and come in laughable portions.

Epic Sunday dinner here today. The cauliflower and cheese side is recommended. Lovely staff, terrific service and a lovely pub to chill at!
