Great beers in a lively, interesting and welcoming atmosphere. Best place we drank in.

Decided to give this pub a try while in Bradford and wow it was brill, They had 7 flat ciders on which was a nice find. It has lovely open brick vaulted ceilings with lots of subtle lighting. Nice friendly welcome. I will deffo be visiting again next time I in Bradford.

Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and great beer selection

Good place to have in Bradford as there aren't many. Not much German or Belgian on tap, not like Head of steam or other independents. Trappist a bit pricey ☺️. Very decent people though, great to keep this place open and in business.

Fantastic craft beer pub in the centre of Bradford. Great range of beers with about 6 different cask ales and 4 or 5 keg beers on offer. Really nice atmosphere inside. Will visit again when I'm back in Bradford.

Cozy pub under one of Bradfords best buildings, the Corn Exchange, good selection of real ales and craft beers. Really nice relaxed atmosphere for after work drinks.

I tried this pub while in Bradford a few months ago. It suddenly became one of my favourite pubs in the UK, ever. I loved the ambiance, the coziness and most of all the craft beer selection. I mean, I've rarely seen a pub with such interesting options. I was lucky as they had extra beers while I was there, so I was able to sample beers I couldn't have tried on some other days. Staff was utterly kind and warm too. Would love to go back.

One of the best hidden gems in Bradford City Centre. Pie & Peas well worth a try.

A charming and unique bar in the most beautiful building. Fantastic craft beer selection, excellent spirits selection as well, they have some nice whiskeys and bourbons. The food is excellent, great quality and came so fast and piping hot. The staff really make this place, they are warm and friendly, great beer knowledge and create a very cosy atmosphere

Brilliant bar offering a wide range of craft ales that you normally wouldn't find elsewhere. Great ambience inside, one of those that unless you stepped foot in, you’d miss, but genuinely a brilliant bright light in Bradford city centre that should be visited!

In the Grade 1 listed Wool Exchange this bar has an eclectic mix of real and keg beers that change almost daily. Many are from Nightjar brewery in Hebden Bridge. Background music is also a varied assortment. Friendly, knowledgeable staff with a mixed, friendly crowd . Not good for Disabled access.

What a great little bar! Beautiful interior and, even with just a few people in on a Friday afternoon, lively and friendly atmosphere. Bradford city centre is not great for drinking, but this bar is enough to justify a visit. Looking forward to spending an evening here soon.

bar staff was rude, wouldn’t let me order a water before i got an actual drink, they were completely rude saying “i look about 12” and “it doesn’t work like that”

⭐☆☆☆☆ The bar staff here have egos bigger than the venue itself. From the very first word, the rudeness was off the charts, and it felt like they were going out of their way to be dismissive and unwelcoming. Customers should be treated with respect, not like an inconvenience. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to a good experience, but they’ve lost a lot of custom from me due to their attitude. Wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy being mistreated.

Well, what can I say. Researched prior going to Bradford for football and saw this on google maps. A 6 minute walk from Bradford Interchange and tucked into a histric building. It was almost like going into an underground cellar. Well decorated and playing a good selection of 80's music, but loud enough for a conversation to be had over it. Excellent selection of real ales and a decent german lager on tap. A haunt for BCAFC fans prior to games but friendly and no issues at all. Food was one of the best pies I have had and sat on a bed of mash with a thick gravy topping it. A selection of home made pies for all tastes for a tenner. Service to your table with a Northern worcestershire sauce to spice things up. Would definitely recommend this Beer House to away fans on their way to BCAFC. Well done guys, will be returning next season (If Bradford do not go up).

Absolute hidden gem of a pub The only downside is the food and that's only from a personal point of view I personally can't eat pie and peas for dietary reasons heartburn etc etc I had a meal in there on burns night which wasn't pie and peas and it 150% so I give the place 5 stars for food anyway for that reason

Best in Bradford, superb range of well kept craft beers and real ales, ever changing, also Pieminister which is super tasty and good value. Friendly, comfortable, clean and warm atmosphere.

Wow, what a lineup of cask ale on sale at this cellar bar including 3 from Night Jar Brew Co who run this bar. Super friendly and knowledgeable barman adds to the all round experience. There appears to be lots of events happening here so keep your 👀 peeled - you’ll have a good time 👍🏻

A real gem of a pub. I've been visiting the Exchange on and off for thirty years and it's now better than it ever was. Great beer, great atmosphere and friendly staff make it a must visit if you're in Bradford.

Good selection of beers including gluten free. Just had one pint in here, then moved on to the worst wetherspoons in the country. Wish I'd stayed.

Best craft beer pub in Bradford by some margin (that includes you BDog). Range leans to cask and local IPAs and they have a decent fridge selection offering other beer varieties. Prices are very fair and the staff are lovely.

Good centrally located bar with wide selection of real ales and friendly, efficient staff. Usually play decent background music as well.

Always assured of friendly service in this atmospheric cellar bar with great beers, including alcohol-free, and Pie Minister pies served piping hot! Open mic, open decks, live music and club nights too.

I used to run this bar 13 years ago. It really has improved tremendously in that time. Clean. Warm. Friendly. Clean toilets. Excellent beer. Nice bar staff.

Excellent place with friendly staff

Superb real ale pub in Bradford town centre, West Yorkshire. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with Saturday food service times so got there too late but well worth another visit to try the pie n mash sometime in the future. Popular on footie match days with both home and away supporters.

One of my favourite ever pubs. Great playlist and beer selection - always a good range, including stouts and sours and cider. The people who run the pub very clearly care about making it a welcoming place that celebrates the best of Bradford, and I love it for it.

Great place with six real ales. Also drank several bottles from Belgium and New Zealand. A must visit when in Bradford. Highly Recommended

Stocks a great range of decent beers. I particularly enjoyed a nice Stout. Staff seem friendly. Sadly it turned out very expensive, as I ended up getting a CAZ fine (I had no idea what a CAZ even is until now!) So Cheers to a £120 beer! Sadly I wont be back. But Visit if you are local!

Nice atmosphere and lots of choice at the bar

We currently have a protest in bradford against the clean air zone and have every other business supplying us we are fighting for the likes of the exchange bar yet the manager Ben wants to come outside and say we are far right !!! I will be contacting the owners if the bar and telling them Ben is not fit for purpose!! This is the first not the time we have had abuse from ben

Ben and Alice have made this is a very good pub. As ex-Bradford City legend John Hendrie said today: "It's a hidden gem!" Ben's a proud Bradfordian and he simply doesn't tolerate bad behaviour or racist loud mouths.

Came to Bradford on a shopping trip yesterday…had the misfortune to venture into this place… My friend and I ( she loves craft beers) were harassed by a couple of leches, generally not an issue in this kind of venue (very loud, scruffy and smelly)… Tables sticky, glasses certainly not sparkling…would’ve normally complained but the guy behind the bar seemed to be friends with the leches so we left our drinks and left 🙄

Some really nice options for real ale both keg and cask. Sometimes the atmosphere can be a bit strange, but overall a nice place.

My favourite pub in Bradford. The beer is always great, with new ales every week. The staff are super friendly and the place has an amazing atmosphere. If you come for a drink in Bradford, be sure to check this place out!!

Undersevedly quiet. Great choice of beers and lagers and a comfortable and welcoming interior. Upon entry and seeing the place, you go to the bar expecting to pay premium prices but the prices are reasonable and not inflated. The staff are first class. Well done, to the owners.

Cozy place with a great selection of beers

I visited here with BrewDog's "Beer Whisperer" who was blown away by the place. Although a managed house, serving excellent beer from their brewery, the choice of beers is expansive. A lot of fantastic European beers on offer, some obscure and unique, some big hitters from popular and well known European breweries. I was served by a gentleman called Ben who was phenomenal. We had a great chat and he recommended beers with confidence, offering me some excellent samples and helping guide me to choosing some beers that I love. I very much enjoyed perusing the beer fridge. My favourite beer here was either a new Zealand pale ale or a beer made with new Zealand hops There's also a shuffleboard on site

Had a fab time here. Their beer on tap were yummy. And the feel of the place is so cosyz with books and fairy lights. Will def go back again.

Excellent choice of beers including sours and bottles of Duchesse de Bourgogne! Very friendly and knowledgeable bar manager. A great couple of hours on a Wednesday afternoon following a visit to the Science and Media museum. Note: The bar entrance is on Market Street, we missed it the first time we wanted to go to the bar!

Popped in here for a quick pint, giod selection of beers and sours, I had a pint of craft ale, wife had a cider, nice cosy atmosphere, good decor.

Excellent draught ales,reasonable prices

A real ale pub with a diverse but friendly clientele, great selection of alternative music and a top landlord and landlady makes a pint or three here a must when in Bradford city centre. One not to be missed.

It's changed ownership a couple of years ago. The beers are great. No food at present but they say it will have food again. You can get pizza next door and bring it back!
