I came in with a group of friends while on a girls weekend away, the pub Ian full of druggies and looked like the management was also intoxicated working behind the handing shots out to what must of been locals and tried to also with us and we kindly declined, fight broke out between two local lads and still both carried on getting served after, people were staggering about l, music was blaring and seemed like only the locals and staff were in charge of it no regard for any customers in the pub, people were dealing drugs in the pub and doing them in the toilets vodka bottles were on the floor in the toilets drug bags also, definitely wouldn’t step foot back in pub if the beer was free and I certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

While wandering around this part of town my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into The Excelsior Pub and what a great time we had. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a lovely pub interior, it looks like it's been modernised but modernised in a tasteful way. A light and airy interior, an eye catching serving bar dominates the main room, tv's to enjoy the sport, pubby decor and furnishings and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy streets around this pub, the pub on our visit was decked out tastefully for the Euro's with flags of nations competing adorning the walls and ceiling of the pub,all in all its a superb pub. We were here on a Tuesday evening, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were a very pleasant member of the bar team took our order of a John Smiths Brewery bitter each, these were served in excellent condition, we kicked back and chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our bitters My bitter was excellent, a crisp, tasty bitter ,very refreshing on a hot evening, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and socialising again albeit socially distanced. We really enjoyed our bitters in here and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to The Excelsior Pub we had a wonderful time. The Excelsior Pub is easy to locate along Lytham Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Midday till Midnight. Friday & Saturday, Midday till 1.30am. Sunday, Midday till Midnight. A great pub ,well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The Excelsoir is a smart modern pub in Blackpool that offers entertainment most nights of the week and shows all major sporting events. Housed in a nice building with outside seating on Lytham road the Excelsoir when you enter has an excellent interior with a bright modern open-plan interior superb seating options and as the Euro's are on home nations flags adorning the walls and other Euro 2021 features. We came here while walking around Lytham road and went in here for a couple of drink's and once we gave our track and trace details we sat at the back of the pub and then ordered our beers. When here we had a few glasses of John Smith's brewery bitter perfectly served and priced. This is a great pub in a great part of Blackpool and will visit here again as the staff were friendly and the beers we had were superb and well priced and it is very easy to find from Alexandra road bus stop it's a minute walk. (This is my first review of the Excelsoir). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-12.00-00.00. Friday-12.00-01.30. Saturday-11.00-01.30. Sunday-12.00-00.00. Hours May Differ From Above Due To The Covid 19 Restrictions. Nearest Bus Stop. Alexandra road bus stop.

Visited after a heavy night drinking service was slow and confused ordered milky coffees which turned out to be just coffee with a splash of milk which didn't arrive until part way through the breakfast after asking for them again, both breakfasts were served on baking trays which was not the worst thing in the world but slightly unusual, 2 of the 3 staff seemed lovely and the food was slow to arrive but was piping hot apart from the toast I think that had been cooked on the radiator. All in all not the best we've had in Blackpool but certainly not the worst.

Terrible service 17 for bottomless brunch and not enough staff waiting 20 to 40 minutes for drinks, definitely will not go again.

We took our 10 year old grandson to Blackpool for the day. The weather was decent and early evening we were sitting outside a bar near North Pier when it suddenly started raining heavily. (It came as a surprise). We needed to eat so went in the Dusk Bar as it was very close by. It had a disco, but being early evening there were few customers, when we arrived. We had Tapas dishes and a pizza. The atmosphere was good, the food really tasty and quite reasonably priced. The staff looked after us really well.

We arrived late on but the bouncers were so helpful! Covid restrictions followed and we were welcomed by Todd. He was so lovely and really made us want to stay. He was so knowledgeable with drinks and made us feel so comfortable. All the bar staff were lovely to be honest. First time visiting Blackpool and definitely the best bar we have been in. This bar slime makes us want to return! Thank you Todd and team x
