We came here today and had food what a joke it was the burger I ordered that cost £10.13 was smaller than a McDonald's burger I got my 6 year old a kids meal tomato pasta and lucky I checked it because it was still frozen I told a member of staff and she was so rude and said u have ro speak to another member of staff what a joke

Lovely pub, usual weatherspoons menu but cooked to perfection, gelreat drink offers and an enjoyable start to the night

We ordered the American burger, unfortunately it was absolutely tasteless, dry and bland, it should come with ketchup and American style mustard, neither of us tasted either. The chips were as bad, soft and soggy, we thought ( by the taste and consistency) they were oven chips, but we were told they were fried. Very disappointed!

Great service and price as you would expect from the fabulous Wetherspoons.

Not one of the smarter Wethers, no special features other than it's name and it's showing its age especially downstairs. Fast table service through the app and the usual Wethers food menus.

Love the smell of smoke, old men, cheap furniture, and the breakfasts always send me into a deep state of euphoria. 5 stars.

A good choice of easy drinking cask ales on sale - well worth staying for a few. First floor is popular with diners (and closer to the toilets!)

I was shocked and appalled by “The Eric Bartholomew”. It was not a 5 star service.

Busy town centre pub. Great for children and very big food choice.

Visited on Tuesday 01st October 2024 for dinner at the Eric Bartholomew Pub which is just off Morecambe seafront. It's a pretty standard spoons, with the bonus of having an upper floor for dining only. A bit rough and ready, but good value as ever.

Stopped for drinks with my husband and our baby. Service at the bar was good, however quite a few dirty tables not being cleared so couldn't be used. Needed to use to accessible toilet to change the baby's nappy. The toilets were worse than the toilets on Blackpool Prom. Stunk of urine and couldn't have been cleaned in quite some time yet the cleaning chart said they had been checked hourly and there were no issues. Complained to the manager about this as whilst I only used the baby change table, it is not okay to have this standard of cleanliness for people who have to use accessible toilets. They agreed to get it cleaned immediately.

Friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed our return visit.

Alright for a cheap drink and cheap food

A typical Wetherspoons and as such has all the same features. The Eric does have in my experience one aditional feature... free viewing of the mobility scooter racing held right outside.

The first time we have had to put in a bad score for a Wetherspoons.

Another Wetherspoon. Another unique carpet. The beans on toast were alright. The apple juice lovely. The toilets were upstairs....then down a few steps... just so when you came out of the toilet you had to firstly head uphill before down. Plenty of space in the toilets. Loads of seats to eat food at. Should have photographed the carpet...

Typical wetherspoons pub. We went on Friday around 2.30 It was very busy when we went but food was served within a reasonable time and was hot. Bar man was very helpful even though he was trying to do several jobs at once

Not my favourite, service slow ,real ale choice not as good as other wetherspoons on the coast of Lancashire, and while I was waiting ,a lady returned her food saying it was cold.

Couldn't fault the visit used app to order waitress was friendly & attentive food was served promptly to table & as expected.

We visited here on a Monday morning for breakfast. We ordered through the app and everything arrived quickly. Food was good. My only complaint was (and it's the same in every wetherspoons we've been to!) that the beans were cold! Why are they always cold?! Other than that it was a good breakfast for the price!

Good pub, busy in the day, quieter in the evening

Whether you're after 10 curries and pint or 10 pints and a curry, this place has you covered. Come here all the time and it does not disappoint. Cheap cheerful and as long as the pints keep flowing, I'll keep going.

Fantastic place. Great beer n grub. Just wish there was more coffee machines to stop queuing. Especially needed upstairs! Otherwise 10/10. Was here again today. Not changed and still 10/10. Just saying…. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I went into Morecambe weatherspoons on Friday night with my friends. Dan cleared our table swiftly and he was super friendly. He made our experience more pleasant than normal!

Really don't understand why this is not Tim's flagship pud. With the name alone, iconic.

Another good visit. Great location being in the town but just off the promenade. Will return again......

8 of us went in and there was an empty table for 8 on a Saturday afternoon.

Quick service, had the large breakfast, which for the price was good. Free refills for coffee. Clean as it could be, staff work hard.

Myself, husband, son and 2 granddaughters aged 12 and 15 went to this Wetherspoons on Monday 24th February around 11.00am for breakfast. I ordered traditional breakfast, son had breakfast wrap, husband had bacon butty, youngest granddaughter had small American breakfast and other granddaughter had pancakes and maple syrup. Everything on my breakfast was absolutely cold on a cold plate, the pancakes both my granddaughters had were cold. They didn't want to complain but I took my breakfast back. The staff member was totally disinterested, no apology! I was told they would replace it. Waited ages and when the replacement came that also was all cold. I left all of it as we weren't prepared to wait any longer. Total disappointment. Would not go back there and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone

As far as a bar goes, it's OK. The noise is a little too much for me, but drinks are cheap and the company is always good.

Maybe I should get out more, but this is this first time I’ve witnessed two lads coming out of one cubicle in the gents! One stopped at the mirror to wipe some powder off his nose before going back out. Upstairs was just a bad atmosphere. On the upside, beer £2.15/pint! 😁

It's a normal weather spoons, bathrooms are a short hike away and the food and drink is cheap and cheerful, you can't go wrong

quiet Saturday morning good value coffees

Decided to stop for lunch after a walk along the sea from at Morecambe

Took months for a coffee machine to be fixed/ replaced and then the ice machine was broken! Returned 5 days later..... Still broken, I enquired, if anybody had thought to buy any bags of ice from the local Iceland shop (3 mins walk away, could have borrowed one of their trolleys) the answer was..... no Disgusting a company of that size doesn't have anything in place for those kind of situations.... Can't go wrong with a Spoons. The only annoying part is the accessibility of the toilet.

In absolute shock whent for a sunday lunch im parcialy sighted and require large print menu to find no large print menu no help to read said menu no braille copy its ridiculas in 2025 you cant eat in weatherspoons if your blind as they dont cater for this disability discusted star rate _100

I stopped here on a cold wet winter evening on the way to visit the Isle of Man via Heysham. This pub is styled to reflect Eric Morecambe, the more entertaining of the great institution and has some nice decorative features that reflect him. The building was warm, clean and had exceptionally kept range of real ales. Food is what you might expect from a Witherspoon pub, wholesome and well priced. I stayed as late as possible as my ferry set off very late and chatted to the staff who were of an opinion it was one of the best places they have worked in. I must say it showed. The staff were really excellent and I very much enjoyed my visit. I will visit again.

Chicken was raw bacon looks like ham . Questioning if they cooked it on a radiator the mushroom was soaking wet! The peas looked like they’d pea left left for 3 hours how can you even serve food like this ?

Warm and dry on a very wet evening. Downstairs normal 'Spoons. Upstairs is a cut above. Lovely. We didn't eat but enjoyed a couple if pints. Yep, would deffo go back. Very pleasant.

Been here before. Always sit upstairs with plenty of seating. A good quality Wetherspoons.

Well we'll wel what can I say. Turned up for my usual classic burger only to be told they had no beef patties. Daughter wanted the ultimate burger she was inconsolable. No ice so had to drink warm Lemonade. No brown sauce. This isn't the 1940s with war time rationing.

Went here today for something to eat the staff provided really good service and the food was great.

Been here over 10 times for breakfast and dinner. Always great! Brilliant chef and friendly staff.

I liked it in here. The staff were friendly and efficient. The menu is akways good at Wetherspoon so its not difficult to choose sonething, im vegetarian but theres enough choice for me. Tables are clean and cleared quickly which is great. Main loos are upstairs (no lift) but there is a disabled toilet downstairs. Coffee machine upstairs offers less choice so be aware.

Friendly staff. We ended up with too many puds!!! 😂. We were allowed to keep them and refunded automatically from the app ❤️

The staff at this wetherspoons prefer to give there English patrons there food first even if they ordered after a customer that is not for England. Had to wait nearly 25 mins after placing order to get our food, wouldn't have minded if the place was busy but it was practically empty.

We had fish and chips, the fish was nice and crispy and the chips was good.

Nice Wetherspoons, good breakfasts didn't try the beer as I was driving.

Just had drinks but they were well priced as usual apart from the shots which were on the expensive side. Good service and busy atmosphere.

Got kick out because we had a assistant dog. Even though assistant dogs are protected under uk law "The Equality Act 2010 protects the rights of assistance dog owners and their dogs in the UK"

Wednesday 26th October 2022 This Weatherspoons served on our visit a good range of hand pumped ales. The pub itself was well run and clean and served the usual range of wetherspoons meals In Morcambe, this is possibly the best real ale pub to drink in Tuesday 1st October 2024 This is good weatherspoons This pub had an adequate guest hand pumped ales on today a comfortable pub to drink real ales in. Come in a lot for breakfast with my family and most the time everything is fine. Sadly today the experience was ruined by a very rude manager. When I first arrived I sat down in what looked like a quiet unreserved area. There was nothing to indicate that it was blocked off or reserved. Within a couple minutes of being sat down a staff member came over to tell me the area was blocked off but was very rude about it, instead of politely asking me to move she said I should of used my ‘common sense’ to understand that a wet floor sign and a slightly out of place chair was indication this area was blocked off. I was honestly gobsmacked by how rude and condescending she was. A member of my family then went to speak to her as we were leaving, and she was in no way apologetic and didn’t really seem to care. Not the professionalism I would expect from a manager. All other staff were lovely and the food was great, just a shame it was ruined by an incompetent staff member.

Had a standard breakfast here and got more than enough. Well cooked and staff really friendly.

The trouble with weatherspoons the staff have this bad habit of not concentrating on there jobs . Ive visited the Eric Bartholomew on several occasions this year, and the service is disgustingly poor. On the 19/9/24 at around 2 pm l order my drink twice because the female bar staff was to busy yapping. one of them was drinking coffee Not purchased from weatherspoons .. l got my pint .. As short measurement yet again .. they do it at Burnley's Boot as well .. This sort of staff should be dismissed. Robing people with serving short measures.. Mr Martin you need to sort this kind of personal out. Serving without do care , .. Its not right. I've stopped going in the boot at Burnley because I've complained to the manager .. Time and Time again l might as bang my head against the wall. If you care about customer being happy. Then you need to get you staff sorted

8pm very young children running around in school uniforms, parents no control. All I wanted was a quiet pint.

Great Witherspoon's not bad prices

We as a couple stopped in morecambe for a couple of days, ended up in weatherspoons. We intended having a couple of drinks and then going for food elsewhere. We decided to stay and try the curry night, best choice ever. The food considering it's fast food was impeccable 10/10. We would both definitely recommend.

Great boozer, foot was great the staff are great. It was our 1st visit to Morecombe and won't be our last.

Came here on Fri for breakfast with the kids . service was ok as they only had what looked like two girls working on there own..we had a hot drink but when we went to get another refill the machine seemed to be broken ,we did speak to a man who worked there who wasn't really bothered that drinks machine was playing up,he said it's finished but didn't offer anyone the option of a hot drink from the hot water dispenser so no further drinks ..I thought it was a bit rude really the attitude....

Saturday night may not have been the best time to go to a 'Spoons. It looked like it had been a busy day and the app had stopped working but the bar service was pretty quick and polite. Food and drink arrived quickly but the small plate fish and chips was a bit dry. Everything else was ok.

Always call in when we are in Morecambe only had a drink this time.
