Rishi is rude no people skills he needs training on how to speak to customers. Bring back the old manager couple months back

Nice drinks. Nice tasting chicken gyro. However, i would suggest making the portions bigger, and adding more chicken, as, although it tasted nice, i did not feel as if it was a filling meal... I hope you can take my suggestion to heart and hopefully act upon it

Come here for lunch today & had fish & chips & a chicken feast & then a cadburys lovers sundae & it was beautiful couldn't fault any of it, we ate the lot, we really enjoyed it will visit again

Anniversary meal good food and atmosphere

Ordered a super steak, and wow it was super ! Puts Miller and carter to shame. My children also loves their chicken wings and 80z sirloins. Cooked to perfection. Ed was amazing on the bar and I was totally happy to take his recommendation on the food we ordered. Definitely coming back to this great family pub.

Another enjoyable visit to our local, the Elisabeth Arms. Served by Ed who is great, always polite and gives good service . All the other staff are polite and helpful. Food was great as always.

Steak was cooked to perfection and fish was lovely and crispy, the barman Edward was friendly taking our order would definitely come back

Arrived at 5pm on Friday night table pre-booked 6 guests including toddler Told when ordered food was 30 min wait Over 1 hour later and after asking where food was. Food came out staggered and kids meal almost last. Very disappointed Paid £17 for rib and wasn't impressed with extras not with it cost. Surf and turf ordered and repeatedly asked for pepper sauce which is meant to come with it.

So glad we came here. We had the dining out gift cards given for birthdays. Saw some bad reviews which made me unsure but decided to try for ourselves. We both really enjoyed our meal. It was busy but didn't wait long to be seated or served. Had the mega grill and Gyros, 2 pints of Madri and 2 glasses of Woo Woo and just over £46. Thought that was a good deal with how much food you got. The Gyros also came with 2 large flatbreads and salad. Friendly staff and clean pub. Would definitely come again, so happy to recommend. 👍

I hadn't been to the Elisabeth arm since my last review but I went Wednesday evening 31st and I had steak and it was very nice

Thought it might be busy on Sunday teatime, so booked a table online, registered with them and got an offer code. On arrival realised I didn't need to book because there were plenty of tables available, but I would have missed the offer. There were more people outside than inside dining so our order took quite a while, but when it arrived it was hot. Although pleasant the surroundings are beginning to look tired, could do with a bit of money spending on it to revitalise it.

An airy and spacious estate pub with ample parking and decent drink selection. Limited on the ales, mind. Definitely one one for these summer days..

Had a bad sinner the rib was all fat and make me feel sick. 1 hour wait for the privilege, families shouting across the restaurant not a great atmosphere.

both had chicken n mix sharer meal .. never agaon chicken was dry and very well done actually looked burnt.. had to wait about 35/45 mins for food to arrive .. usually food is amazing but this time around it was very poor quality

Cheap, nice John smiths, lots of lager choice. Tasty food very small portions. The mains are just bigger than starters at most other pubs.

Great night out. Fantastic for their thursday night offer...... free bottle of wine with two steak meals. I enjoyed the steak. Got the wine..... but didn't get what else goes after a steak. 😉🤣

Came here with my little girl, always get worried when coming out for food, as she doesn't sit still. All the staff were really kind, Tammy was so patient and friendly, and even took my little girl for a walk round the pub when she could see she was getting bored! Would 100% come again.

Handed food looked like it had been thrown on plate mashed together called lady to complain to manager appearance on plate was disgusting to be told manager and chief have been informed not even an apology off manager he was not to be seen disgusting management not even busy today Saturday 8th June 2024 o wonder why if that’s the service you get lesson learned

Was hear Monday evening for a family meal and started feeling ill as soon as I got home I'm still ill now I will not be returning in the future.

They had none of the food that comes with the meals so you wasn't getting what u pay for then the food was cold and greasy over an hour waiting and not very helpful staff at all I won't be coming here again

Nice pub. Looks old now. Some tables and menus are sticky. But over all busy pub becsue of fresh food.

Brilliant staff. Despite having fire alarm sound, we’ve gotten a round of free drinks and a brand new meal. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Would recommend.

Came for lunch was greeted with lovely staff who showed me about the 2 for 11.75. What great value for money the gammon was amazing will definitely be back

Can improve on the food, rump steak was full of fat, had to be returned to the kitchen. All of our meals came out at separate times so some people finished eating before others even had their meal

Our second visit to the Elizabeth Arms left us disappointed yet again. Despite being assured that food was served until 9pm, we arrived to find the kitchen closed at 8:15pm due to engineers working. This inconsistency was frustrating, especially after enjoying a couple of drinks and looking forward to a meal. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning. After scanning the qr code on the tables the food appeared, which makes me doubt there was any engineers at all…

Visited for the first time on 6-5-24 and was’nt disappointed ordered the sirloin steak sizzler it was cooked exactly as I asked. Nice atmosphere clean and wonderful range of beers. Will be returning more often in the future

My sisters 70th birthday. A mix of adults with learning disabilities & my sister in wheelchair. 21 of us at varying times. Absolutely excellent.

Food was absolutely disgusting 🤢 fish wasn’t cooked inside sloppy the mushy peas where like water the nan bread was rock hard couldn’t even break it the curry was still frozen and they forgot my rice on my order 6 years every weekend we been coming here and this was terrible offered us a pudding a drink no refund nothing absolutely disgusting manger and customer services

We visited Elisabeth Arms for a birthday celebration for my husband , the waitress VICKY , over heard me mention it was his birthday, after our meal , without prompting she went out of her way to bring my husband a slice of cake with candles in and even sang happy birthday to him , this made our visit extra special . Vicky is a credit to the pub . Thank you PS the food is amazing aswell.

Compliments to the chef and staff

It's a shame because this place used to be fantastic and I'd visit with family every Sunday but after my visit today I sadly won't be visiting ever again. There's signs all over the tables to advertise on the app so we did. Took a long time for the drinks, about 20 minutes. I had the lasagne, it was a small portion but OK for the price. It used to come with salad and two large pieces of garlic bread, now it only comes with one piece of garlic bread that they cut in half and say is two. I've honestly had way better ready meal Lasagnes. My son had a cheeseburger, the best meal out of the three but the burger bun was black on the inside and rock hard so he only managed to eat half. Worst by far was the sizzling grilled chicken. For the price, I expected a half decent portion but no, the kids meals would have been just as big. It was half a chicken breast, more like the size of a single chicken tender, with absolutely no seasoning on, on a bed of about 4 small squares of peppers and one piece of brocolli and no onions. You do get chips on the side. It doesn't state the size of the chicken on the menu and I can see why. The meal was completely bland. We even paid an extra £2 to buy a 'hot sauce' which just tasted like a watered down tomato pasta sauce with no spice. You can buy a chicken and steak sizzling plate for an extra 50p, the table next to us did order this and it was three times the size. We weren't asked whether our food was fine (wasn't overly busy), but we did leave about 5-10 mins after receiving our food and ended up going to the local mcdonalds so maybe they would have if we stayed longer. I'm really disappointed as I used to love this pub but it feels like it's lost the customer service atmosphere and food has gone really downhill and I felt like ove just wasted £40. Sorry guys, but I hope this feedback helps implement some changes.

On entering the Pub all tables were clean staff where actively working and checking with the guest. i found a table and made my order at the Bar i was severed by Ricky. who asked if me orb my guest had any allergies. took my order. Ricky brought our drinks over and checked in with the table making sure that we had are meals and that every thing was ok, Great customer services. will be back

Fabulous visit and wonderful food

I never like to review after just one visit however I have been more than once now and all occasions the time for food to come out has been so slow. Sizzling now do takeaway orders and whilst many tables were waiting for their food, the uber eats orders were flying out the door - got their priorities all wrong in my opinion. Positive * The lady behind the bar with the dark hair in a ponytail was excellent throughout. Once the food did arrive, it was really nice.

Visited the Elizabeth Arms 30/03/24 after a long day out with friends. We did not have a reservation but the manager found us a table to sit together, we were sitting by the window and had an ants nest near us, ants crawling over the children and on the table. Staff were informed but it's understandable nothing could be done right then and there. Food was lovely, served fresh and hot. Was a little disappointed that our friends food came quite a bit of time after ours so we didn't get to eat together as such. Desert was lovely as always as not many places do the deserts I like. Overall another good visit here, not as good as previous visits but we look forward to the next one.

Food was nice. I had sirloin steak which was cooked just the way I asked. There was a bit of a wait between ordering and food being served, but worth it when food arrived. Staff were nice and polite.

Just had a mega mix grill. very well cooked indeed. The steak was perfect. I had a small issue but the wonderful manager sorted it out right away. I'll definitely be going back!

I think this place has deffo changed hands there's alot of Indian men in there now bringing your food, very polite when asking is Yr food alright, alright iv been about 4 times now since the change and believe me it definitely needed it, it wos getting the food wasn't good they didn't have half the stuff on menu, so 100% better go and try, you wnt be disappointed, but it does get busy xx

The food was really yummy. They brought out my son's starter as a main at the same time as us. There was only one thing that upset my son was that there were no chocolate brownie. There was nothing as an alternative for him. But apart from that really enjoyed mothers day there. Was slightly concerned about kids running around where there is hot food and drinks etc. .is there something like a colouring activity they could have at the table. Or put cartoons kids programmes when there are a lot of children running round and bored.

Food tasted mediocre, portion size was atrocious, the drinks alone took nearly 30 mins to come, some of the mega mixed grill was cold, staff weren’t the friendliest and overall I wouldn’t visit again.

My ex Mum-in-law loves the food here. She used to go weekly before her husband passed away. We have started going regular again. She enjoys Hunters Chicken or a Steak. I've been enjoying fajitas. Recently I tried the Chilli Hotdog (Bratwurst) which I thoroughly enjoyed, unfortunately on our last visit, they were out of stock. We / she has never had a bad meal, hence us returning. The staff are chatty with lovely, genuine personalities. Would highly recommend

When myself and four children walked in, we were greeted by a gentleman (assume the manager) that told us that we couldn't eat, as we hadn't booked and they were fully booked. Fortunately a lady behind him, shouted over that there were tables available and called out the table numbers and we got seated. I struggle to understand how he could be so quick to turn us and nearly £100 food and drink order, away. Thankfully, the other staff were aware and they kept the business. The food was actually amazing, so well cooked and tasted beautiful. Thanks to that diligent staff member, I will be returning, hopefully not being greeted by being turned away.

Food took nearly an hour to come, and when it did, was not piping hot either. About 40% of the menu was out of stock which then made it difficult what to order. Had an ultimate chicken tikka in the end, said it came with mango chutney and chips on the app, but neither came, there was nothing ultimate about it. Have been in here over the years, and it was average before, but now it’s just not worth the money at all.

We waited over an hour for food and it came out freezing so I told the manager they sent it back to wait another 20 minutes then ordered deserts and waited 20 minutes I had the hot fudge cake it came cold and with tissue on it and to top it off we asked for our table to be cleaned after 10 minutes of waiting my partner cleaned it himself

i didn’t enjoy my visit as the food took 40 minutes to arrive to my table and when it did come it was cold, the meat was covered in carbon which made it inedible and to be offered a free dessert when all i wanted was to enjoy my mix grill is pitiful

Our Christmas dinner was terribly poor. It started off well, starters were served within half an hour but the mains were served to half of us then over half an hour later after asking twice we were told by a waitress we’d been forgotten about, only to bring out our cold mains 10 mins later. Over an hour after this we’d still not been served any of our desserts, tables around us had arrived been served and left and we were left sitting there so with very fed up children and adults we decided enough was enough and asked for our desserts to be deducted. Very disappointing as Christmas 2022 we had a wonderful meal here. I’m afraid standards have slipped drastically and we won’t be returning!
