We go for the pub quiz and it's always a great atmosphere.

Absolute joke this pub. My friend who is 81 pushed open the door tonight, bearing in mind how hot and clammy it was, to get some air. The barman came over and closed it with no explanation so she she pushed it open again because she couldn't breathe. Barman comes back and takes her drink off her and when she went to enquire why he just said all of us aren't getting served again. It transpired that the door needed to be shut because of noise may disturb neighbours but the other door to the back was wide open so what's the difference. No way to treat an 81 year old lady

Myself and my friends went for an Abba afternoon tea. The abba tribute band were amazing and the food and drinks were great

A great boozer not many left since the pandemic sadly but this family friendly pub goes above & beyond ensuring that customers leave with a positive experience weather your dining in for food or just having a pint with friends & family. This pub always has brilliant entertainment a respectful atmosphere with great songs/artists on the playlist George Ezra one of my personal favourites to be exact, the bar staff are always welcoming & are very engaging in conversation & the lanlord whose actually my partners brother works Tirelessly managing the pub to the best of his abilities. A real top fella. Highly recommend the visit… BottomsUp 🍻

Stops service earlier than weather spoons advertising. Been on multiple occasions. Certain members of staff can be to direct and rude

Always been a lovely local pub for drinks but the kitchen has re-opened with a great full menu and a light bites one too so we thought we'd give it a go, and we were not disappointed. Lovely, warm and friendly welcome, great service amd the food was really good. Brilliant price too, highly recommend. Well done Eight Bells Team.

Nice function room, for my daughter's baby shower. Beware the white concrete posts around the side car park! They are too low to see whilst manoeuvring your vehicle!

Had a family christening there, the room was lovely and clean, plenty of places to park and the staff were friendly and very efficient. Would highly recommend

A beautiful and extremely welcoming local and intimate venue. My first time here and for my friends wake following his funeral and they catered for everything and everyone with smiles, great service and dignity. The staff were so polite and the drinks very reasonably priced. The DJ did a fantastic job and played a great selection of favourites from my friends in musical theatre and chart music. Would highly recommend this place and I most certainly will be going back time and time again. Thank you truly for a great time on such an emotive and sad day.

It's s very friendly pub And the landlord is also friendly. There is never any trouble.

Had a joint 50 birthday celebration, the room is excellent the landlord Dean is amazing and the staff are brilliant, only one place to have any type of celebration and that's the Eight Bells

Service was good and the buffet was absolutely delicious. The music wasn't too loud aand the bar staff were ever so good.

It's just alright, with a pinch of TLC and better staff, the pub can be the best in the area. I don't really have much to say but that the pub is good, and hopefully it will get better as the years go on.

I try to get sleep at night and all I can hear is shouting and screaming from ur pub it disturbs me I live right near this pub and you need to put a sign up saying be a little bit quiter for 11 o’clock because ur customers make a racket and it’s not fair on the people who live near this pub !

We had the room for a function they were so helpful and really nice

Been to lots events, family parties and weddings and the bar bill was well priced and the staff are friendly.

Not a bad boozer the prices can be a little high on some drinks and the food is not bad ether...7/10

This quite a large venue, Ideal for events,,

I held a hen party here for my friend in October, we hired the function room for free and had to put a deposit down. The room was fantastic and very spacious. We found some of the staff here rude and we were waiting a long time for service for the bar in the function room. We had a hard time getting our deposit back at the end of the party due to the manager not being around, which is understandable but it did take us 2 weeks to get this back.

Used to be a regular visitor to the Eight Bells but recently it's taken a turn for the worse. Was always a great place for a weekend drink and for somewhere to watch the football, and there used to be entertainment on there on Sundays but recently whenever I've been in it's been virtually empty. Bit soulless and lifeless but what a shame because it could be great.

We had a fantastic carvery. Plenty of choice the food was hot and excellent. The chef's couldn't do enough for us. The decor of the place was warm and very comfortable. Excellent meals at a very reasonable price. Staff were very obliging.

It is a lot better now it has been done up inside.
