Excellent staff , Rick & Jimmy both superb at their job, we were made very welcome, they are so friendly, not like a usually city pub, we actually felt like we knew everyone there, such a great atmosphere & will definately be going back, thanks guys, doing a great job,

I was shocked by the awful experience I had at this place. I went for a drink with friends. The first pint was fine, but we were told it wasn’t available for the second round. Having chose a different beer, it was obviously faulty on the first sip so I took it back to the bar. The barman was rude, arrogant and confrontational. He refused to acknowledge the problem, or to replace the beer. He responded by being unpleasant and angry. When I asked to speak to the manager, he declared that he was the owner of the business! If this is how he believes customers should be treated, I will never step foot in the place again, and will warn people to avoid. Terrible and shameful way to deal with a paying customer

A very well appointed Indian/ Bangladeshi restaurant and take away. Clean and well presented dining areas and bar. Smart and well mannered staff. Good food in generous portions. We were quite impressed

What have they done to the Great Allday Breakfast. Sausages were in fact chipolatas, bacon was streaky and hardly rashers and to top the lot a pot of tea which holds 2-3 cups can only be served with 1 cup and no saucer. Asked for a second cup was refused, so we shared a single cup. The place has gone downhill, I hope the rest of the menu has not been tampered with.

My boyfriend and I visited the bell hotel today for some lunch after our shopping trip. We ordered some halloumi fries for starters which was lovely, we then ordered our mains. I ordered a chicken burger and my boyfriend ordered a beef burger. When I took a bite out of my burger it had a strange smell to it and it didn’t taste right. The burger was very soggy so I gave it to my boyfriend so that he could give it a try, he looked at it and the middle of the burger was completely raw. I didn’t say anything at the time because everything else was fine and the waiter was really polite too but after coming home I’ve realised that it’s not okay and that other people should know before visiting the bell hotel.

Unpleasant environment. Once sat I noticed how dirty and littered the floor was along with food crumbs spread across the bench seating areas. Plenty of staff to clean the floor and tables yet this has not been done. Coffee was very tasteless and overly milky, would even say a tad sour, an overpriced experience. Sat near the back kitchen and a slightly eggy smell is wafting into the seating area which just adds to the grubby feel in this place.
