A quirky, compact and fantastic bar, which has to be seen to be believed! There is always a fantastic selection of well-kept beers and ciders, which rotates quite regularly. The refurbished games room upstairs is both popular and amazing, with the arcade machines being free to play for punters. Don't let the location of the bar put you off!

Fab place, excellent beers, great company no matter what day you visit. Love it here.

What an awesome find by my mate Mikey.... absolute characters coming in for a drink, pool table and free arcade games upstairs. This establishment is small but perfectly formed. An excellent barman/landlord and a great choice of beverages....will definitely be coming back 👍👍

Great little bar, friendly vibe and quality beers. Happy Hour 5-6 every day, two for one cocktails and reduced price pints.

They only had cheese and onion cobs and that's just what I wanted.

In Gloucester for the day and came across this amazing little bar. Choice of beers was good . I had a Blunderbuss and my partner had an IPA. Both beers were very good. The owner was a lovely chap and very knowledgeable. The other customers in the bar made us both feel very welcome and it was nice just to converse with people instead of being on our phones. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it .

by far the most positive experience i’ve had in any gloucester pub. the staff were friendly and helpful, the other customers were a joy to be around. it has a very cosy atmosphere with minimal seating downstairs but more space upstairs with traditional pub games and some seating outside. a good selection of drinks too. i look forward to going back

Absolute jewel of a micro pub fantastic beers/ales landlord is a top bloke and all other staff very friendly if brave try the very spicy pickled eggs they are next level

Small bar in a narrow side alley. Few tap beers and real ales available. Not much seating available. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. TV on the wall and music being piped through which was pleasant. Upstairs was a games room with arcade games, board games and pool. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.

Ryan the landlord has crafted this bar into a hidden gem in the city. Interesting beers, great service and a cosy, quirky welcoming environment and they have street fighter. Well worth a visit to any local or tourist. Genuine 5 stars. 🦆

Perfect. Great range of drinks with all sorts of varieties of ale as well as a few decent ciders and lagers. Good music on and they were happy to take requests. Loved the room upstairs with sofas, a pool table (cost 50p a go as it should be!! and landlord was happy to give change for a quid) and arcade machines. A very unique pub and a great use of the space available I thought! It was very hard to leave but will definitely be back! Very friendly lads behind the bar and some very sound locals. Honestly just perfect.

This place is small. I understand there is a room upstairs though. The patrons were friendly as was the barman. I had their own beer and it was excellent. I will go back for another soon and one of their cheese and onion rolls. They looked delicious 😋

The most amazing pub we have found in a long time. What was supposed to be 1 drink on our last stop turned into many more meeting great people and insane fun in the upstairs games room

Great pub good atmosphere. Just one thing. The price of the duck bitter seems to have gone up in price quite dramatically £1.00 a pint more than the last time I visited.

Great selection of lovely beers. REALLY DOG FRIENDLY! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly! Cosy atmosphere that gives the bar a fantastic social feel. I recommend this place to anyone living or visiting Gloucester!

Some really nice improvements since the takeover! Good selection of beers and reasonably priced too. It would be nice if there were more keg beers, but besides that it's a really great place.

A fantastic bar in a perfect location. The house ale a great accompaniment to the live blues. Will definitely visit again and recommend to my friends.

Really enjoyed my visit here. As a tourist i had an conversation with the owner/host Ryan. He was very helpful and very kind. The place was very nice and pleasant with an outside terrace in front of the door. Next year if i visite Gloucester again , i definitely go to Angie's bar again.

I live in Scotland and had some time to kill in Gloucester before a wedding. There was a sign saying the smallest pub in Gloucester, it was a nice day and it defo drew me in. Really really nice vibe, nice outside seating area, lovely staff and I noticed a toastie menu!! Amazing. Will definitely be back thanks guys

Not the easiest place to find but had some great beers on when I visited. The electric bear beers were gorgeous. I'll be back in when they come on again!!

We stumbled across Angies on a short break and it was the highlight of our time in Gloucester. Brilliant atmosphere with staff that are engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about music, plus great drinks too! This is the kind of venue that the locals should be proud of and rally around during these troubling times for small businesses.

Small very friendly bar in Westgate Street with an amazing landlord. Real ales and a good selection of good quality drinks you won't find served in many places. Well worth a look if you can get in!

Hard to believe it, but Google maps tells me I went on the 11th of march, so in early August it remains the last pub that I visited. It was cosy, and the ales were well kept. I hope to make it back one day.

Popular venue tucked away down an alley off Westgate Street. They serve superb beers but I wasn't made welcome when I visited on Christmas Eve.
