The host was very hostile and judgemental, not talkative and felt as if I was a burden. He was staring us down as we weren’t eating much and made us feel uncomfortable. The food was average at best the prawns in my seafood were rock solid and hard to chew. The cocktails were so strong we couldn’t even drink them. Atmosphere was very uncomfortable.

The most amazing food and service I’ve ever had. Everything about this place was fantastic. Food was out of this world and service was top notch. Drinks were really good value for money as was the food. Ambience was good too and the waiters were so very attentive to all your needs. They celebrate birthdays in a big way too as we happened to see whilst there. Nothing negative to say. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food, we had the hot meze and all the meat was lovely! A lot of rice though. Service was good and the restaurant is nice. Reduced the score due to the open feel of the restaurant, not the easiest place to have a date night with other couples sat quite close to you.

The food was excellent, the staff were really friendly. The only thing that was slightly off putting was at several points during the night, blaring music started playing and the staff came out dancing. It was entertaining to see, but the music was incredibly loud to the point where you couldn’t even continue a conversation. It’s a restaurant not a night club.

We had booked a table as a party of 3 for a Friday evening 3 weeks in advance but when it came to the evening, we were ‘greeted’ by terrible service. The host was rude from the very first interaction and we seemed like an inconvenience. There were quite a few empty tables so when we were offered a table right by the main door, we asked politely if we could sit elsewhere. We were then taken to another table, which was directly in front of the open door yet again. We did not want to sit with our jackets on whilst eating. We asked again if we could be moved to one of the empty tables towards the back of the restaurant, I want to say there were around 12/15 tables free, to be told no and these were for people who had booked, which we had!! The attitude of the host was disgusting and we ended up leaving and going elsewhere.

Good is lovely and service is great but it is very loud! If you like a party atmosphere it's a great place to go, a bit too loud for me!

Very busy popular restaurant but they fitted us in on Saturday night with no booking. Chefs and waiting staff and bar staff work their socks off constantly! Free bread and dips while you wait and a nice chilled jug of water. Menu is varied with so much choice and reasonably priced compared to other Turkish restaurants we have been to. We both had the mixed grill plate. Huge portion and the flavour of the meat is out of this world. Comes with a big bowl of salad and rice but they gladly gave my partner chips instead. Wine was good and again, well priced. Lively atmosphere and friendly vibe. Children welcome. All in all I can not fault it. Sadly no room for desserts! They happily provided me with a takeaway tin as I couldn’t finish my meal!

incredibly delicious food! Coming from London, we always frequent Harringay (a part of town filled with Turkish restaurants) and this restaurant is better than any I’ve tried there. We ordered the lahmacun which was so crispy and flavorful. We also ordered the lamb beyti kabob and the house special (which is a mixed grill). Everything was insanely flavorful. The grilled meat had a nice rub on top that was so delicious and the beyti kabob had a delicious sauce that wasn’t too acidic or plain. With the yogurt it was such a balanced and perfect meal. Even the complementary bread was fresh and crispy considering we went on a Monday evening and didn’t expect much. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic Turkish food!

Table of 5 - vegan, vegetarian, & omnivores. Food for all tastes, reasonable prices, but most of all, fantastic service. Christiana looked after us throughout our meal. Perfect ! AThese people really know what makes the hospitality industry tick. Almost like being on holiday, but without the garish & tacky fanfares. Classy, non-pretentious. Fantastic menu. All aspects of the dining experience are catered for. Would recommend to all for any occasion. 10/10.

Exceptional restaurant on the notorious Gloucester Quays. Fantastic food and a truly electric atmosphere with a surprise around every corner. Recommend for large groups and celebrations of any kind from birthdays to graphite group hugs.

Visited gloucester 9/7/24 with friends and decided to go to the quays for a meal.wandered around and spotted anatolian palace. We liked the menu and decided to try the 2 course deal for £15. We all ordered different things. I had calamari and then a lamb dish. Exquisite is the only way to describe that lamb. The calamari was delicious bur the lamb was at another level. It melted in my mouth is was so tender and very tasty. The service was prompt but not pushy like some places. I can't praise it enough and know where I'm headed for a meal next time I go to gloucester. 😁😁😁

Excellent Turkish restaurant in Gloucester Quays. The food was amazing, very decent portions and the staff were extremely friendly. Well worth a visit. The complimentary Turkish delight at the end of the evening was an added bonus.

Doesn't give you time to finish your food because they are so eager for you to finish so they can rebook the table. I wouldn't have any issue giving them 5 stars if it wasn't for this reason. When you are spending your money you don't want to be rushed to finish your meal and drink.

Had a great night, amazing food and incredible atmosphere. Definitely the best place to go in the Quays for a big group of people. Staff were fantastic, even when it got busy...and it can get very busy on a Friday night!

Turned up at 7 on a Friday evening and this place was packed out. They very kindly sorted us a table despite the fact we hadn't booked (any later and they'd of probably, and rightfully, had to of turned us away.. so we recommend booking). I wasn't sure what to have so the waiter explained the difference in the seabass dishes. I was NOT expecting the portion size that came and it was all delicious! Mix of Turkish (mainly) and Greek dishes. Beautifully presented. We even got a free bread basket with dips whilst waiting for our mains and it was lovely fresh cooked with a garlic mayo style sauce and a spicy salsa, both very tasty. Our bill came to £59 pounds; 2 beers, large wine and 2 main courses. We left a tip and rounded to £70. They brought out some pieces of Turkish delight with the bill (instead of the usual mints)

Had a birthday organized there just the other day. Celebrations were great and fun, service was immaculate. But the food, the food was perfect. Portions were too much. We ordered set menu for 5 people in total and there were 7 of us. We still took some home! But with these prices it is surely worth it!

Booked a table for 5, we were seated with our drinks order taken quickly, the food was absolutely delish (and very good VFM) and arrived in no time. My biggest surprise? The birthday vibes, man this was off the chain! You guys bring some mad energy with the dial cranked to 11. Place was heaving and would definitely go again! Big shout out to our waitress who was quick to correct my poor mispronounced food order but was happy to roll with the jokes. 5 star all the way!

Great day for the family and great service and excellent food very pleased. Finally we found a halal restaurant that we can spend great time as a family. It's not the usual take away restaurants with tables inside 😉.

Had a birthday meal here tonight and all I can say is how amazing the place is the food is incredible worth every penny the staff are so warming and welcoming will go out there way to get you what you need we had out twin girls with us and the pushchair is rather large and struggled to fit between the table but it was no problem for the staff they all helped to physically make a path for us even when it was busy the customer service is amazing I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back again. Thank you for an enjoyable and delicious meal.

Unexpectedly brilliant. Walked into a real party. All the staff were polite and friendly and all joined in the fun! The menu had a lot of options for a reasonable price, and a good selection of cocktails. Great atmosphere and the place had a brilliant celebratory vibe. Will go again!

It’s really nice restaurant, the food is delicious, I just have comments on the lamp and chicken Adna ( kofta) if that the correct name 😊! The service was really good as well all staff are nice and friendly specially the guy who served us was really nice and helpful, I think he name is Amir. He helped choose from the menu and explained it to us. I really recommend that restaurant 👍

Great food, but with the atmosphere of a noisy packed school dinner hall. We had booked for 2 and were placed in the middle of the restaurant. Turned out our table was on the thoroughfare for all staff and customers, so with perhaps only 2' between us and the next table, we had many people brushing past us and sometimes knocking things on the edge of our table. Staff kept trying to take our bread away (which was very good!). This is one of those places that tries to maximise table utilisation at the expense of a pleasant dining experience. Stressful visit, wouldn't go back.

Went last night as ut was my sons 24th birthday. We told them it was his birthday as they get the birthday person up put a special gown and hat on, and dance to the great up beat music. They even got my youngest son up who'll be 21 later this year, he was embarrassed. Great atmosphere and food fantastic as it was when I went a month ago for the first time. All the waiters and waitresses are good fun. Denis looked after our table mainly, and did a great job, along with the others.

Myself and my family had a great time here for my birthday! Atmosphere was amazing! And considering some of us are fussy eaters they hit the nail on the head with food will definitely go back!!

This is a good restaurant with mostly good service. There are little details need to be looked into. Such as no salt&pepper on the tables, lights are too bright for a restaurant and when a table celebrates birthday the team put a very loud music on and dance with the birthday owner which can be better if they don’t put the music as loud as a night club as during one of this celebration I was on the phone. Also there was noone Turkish working in the front of house so that was weird for a Turkish restaurant. Food is very tasty and hot also salads are very fresh and tasty. Most of the team (greeting guy and food runners all very friendly) just the waitress who took our order was not very friendly and we couldn’t get her attention to pay so we went to the till to pay in the end. We would definitely go back as this is the best Turkish food we had outside London.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful waiter called Shafiq, he is very lovely and attentive. The food itself is very delicious and the atmosphere is amazing and it is a lovely place to celebrate birthdays.

Dined out with friends on Saturday 8th June. As always amazing food, great atmosphere and great service, especially from Valentin who kept are glasses full and was very attentive throughout meal.

The food, service and atmosphere are honestly so good here. I would recommend this place to everyone. It does have loud music and gets really busy in the evenings so be prepared for that. If you want something more casual go at lunchtime

Saw this place a couple of weeks ago and finally made it there for a birthday lunch. Food was out of this world, service was first rate and I would recommend anyone to try it. Don't be afraid to sample the Turkish red wine.

The food was great in my opinion better than Turkey, Staff alright, And trust me the food taste better than if you eat in Turkey.

This restaurant offers a great selection of Turkish dishes. There is something for everyone and certainly everything was very tasty. The only reason I could not give 5 stars was the soft drink prices which were on the high side. The food however was reasonable considering it also includes the experience and is quite filling. Make sure you try the pittas with sesame and nigela seeds!

Evening meal with friends, was surprised how busy it was for a wednesday night, food was amazing, atmosphere was fun, especially if it was your birthday.

Food and service absolutely great, flavours were amazing. Only reason for a four due to feeling rushed, eating starters and mains arrived half way through and staff staring eager to take a plate away

Despite being extremely busy (bursting at the seams) the manager kindly let us book a table for 8.30pm and when we went back, several other people were waiting. They managed to accommodate us all within 15 mins or so. The food came quickly and was delicious. Several birthdays and other special occasions were being celebrated and each time, the staff dressed up, sang, clapped and joined in, and never once showed any sign of stress, despite the sheer volume of guests! We couldn’t fault the food, the amazing service or the wonderful atmosphere. We’ll be back again and again and can’t wait to have a celebratory meal there ourselves!

Visited Saturday 27th April. Table for 3 at 6. Faultless. From the moment you are greeted at the door, the service is impeccable. Every staff member knows their job and does it well. The restaurant was full and the whole experience was amazing. The food was delicious - well presented, quick and efficient service. Everything was perfect and I will definitely be returning. Credit to the staff team - perfection.

We decided to go and treat ourselves to lunch today, as were recommended this delightful place. Complimentary basket of warm bread and dips was a lovely surprise. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We chose the set menu with the hot starters. These were delicious! There was so much food! The salad was super yummy. The lamb ribs were phenomenal. The shish lamb kebab was delicious too! I’m fact all of the food was scrumptious. We shared Baklava for pudding-very tasty too! We took a doggy bag home with us and enjoyed it again for tea! Excellent value for money. Couldn’t fault this amazing restaurant at all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Don’t come here. The staff is very rude. Second time that we have booked for a family dinner and just because they are busy hey cancelled the booking making excuses that we may have call other branches. Proof shown by us that we had called the right restaurant.

This is just the most amazing place to dine. Everything was excellent. The waiting staff go above & beyond to make you feel welcome & they ensure that you have the best dining experience you could could hope for.

If I could give a one million star review for this restaurant, I would. When I say this is the best food I’ve ever had in my 25 years of existence, I’m not exaggerating at all. Everything about this whole experience was absolutely top-notch and unmatched. The service, oh my gosh the service. Best I’ve ever experienced ever. We had the most beautiful and incredible waitress, I’m so so sad I didn’t catch her name. She was just a breath of fresh air on a summer’s day. I would literally marry this girl and I don’t even swing that way. She was so amazing and I wish I had the money to be able to tip her like £100,000, because if I could, I would. She had dark hair and a purple claw clip. Please give her a pay rise. THE FOOD. Where do I start with the food. To give you some context, I am a proper foody and I have tried just about anything and everything when it comes to foods all around the world. The food in this restaurant is the best food I’ve ever had in my life. I had the House Special which is a bit of a mixed grill, with a selection of their chicken and lamb meats served with some rice and salad. The meat was the most flavourful and delicious meat I’ve ever known. The restaurant itself was so busy, yet they still managed to serve the most succulent and perfectly cooked meat known to mankind. I want to personally thank every chef in that kitchen by paying off their mortgage and buying each of them a super car of their choice just for this one meal, it was that good. The overall experience was just incredible. If you are thinking of going for a meal on the docks in Gloucester, choose this place. It will be the best decision you ever make. I love you so much Anatolian Palace xxxxx
