Lunchtime meal with WI 14 of us It was amazing! Will definitely go again!

Uts very hard to find a halal restaurant here in Gloucester, so I was very happy to find this place. We came here for my birthday meal, and well, they didn't disappoint... food was amazing, and every single person working there was fabulous! We had the set meal platters for 4... 5 of us were fully stuffed, and we took lots home as we couldn't finish it! Meat cooked to perfectio. Desertss were divine. Thank you all for making our experience great! We will be back soon.

Me and my partner went last night, had the best service, food and experience ever! We couldn't believe how cheap the bill was for the 2 of us, the food was so fresh and the flavours from the lamb was outstanding!

Absolutely loved this place.. food was delicious ,hot and good size servings. Staff were friendly and accommodating..every now and then they would blast a little dance song to get the atmosphere going. Not that it needed it.. if it's your birthday a fez and coat is put on you with a happy birthday sang to you..highly recommend this place.

This evening I decide to try the Anatolian Palace the Mediterranean Turkish Cuisine and I was welcomed with a warm smile on the door by member of staff, I order a House Speical which was soo tasty just SUPERR!!! It worth every minute for wait one huge bravo to the all the chefs who have a hand on the preparation of that delicious food yummy 😋 highly recommend 👌 😋 😀

Great restaurant, I’ve been meaning to dine in for ages and it did not disappoint. Waiters were amazing and the food was so tasty. We went at 5pm on a weekday and it was quiet but it started filling up at 6pm. You can tell a lot of people love the food there and and dine regularly. The food is not spicy which is great, but it’s still tasty 😋 Everything is nice big portions, mocktails are lush, you get a decent amount of salad and their fresh bread with the dips are lovely! The only thing I didn’t like was the stern looking manager, I’m not sure if it was because we had kids with us. Or if he just doesn’t smile. But can’t fault the waitresses - they are awesome 👏🏼

We wanted a slightly different place and to eat something that we don't find in Italy. The two dishes were delicious, tasty, plentiful. Advise

My husband and I have been here twice now and both times we were blown away by the tasty food. We had Hummus, chicken beyti and yogurtlu tavuk shish. Being from Gloucester, we have always had to travel to other cities to source good Turkish restaurants and we were delighted when we heard about this place. The service has been good each time we visited and the food was unquestionably in our top 3 of Turkish restaurants. Perfect for families, dates or even just a nice meal with friends.

Anatolian palace is one of the best restaurants in Gloucester docks to visit for the best tasting Turkish food. Food is very tasty and server fairly quick despite how busy this place is. Its worth giving a ring before going in specially on the weekends as there may not be a free table right away. Very good range if foods including vegetarian options and a huge range of drinks available. Service is very good and fast. A must go to place in Gloucester docks

Good food, good variety & good setting. Slightly on the higher cost range but underratedable with location, variety & service. The food was good, with plenty of greens as sajsad & pleasant but not overwhelming service. Definitely worth a revisit.

A noisy, boisterous and fun place for a casual meal. The food was excellent and plentiful. We enjoyed the set meze with the cold starters and Efes - took us back to living in the middle East! Very well prepared and presented with nicely boxed left-overs for dinner at home the next night! The restaurant was very busy with two or three large groups celebrating birthdays, families, couples and the odd single diner. The wait staff were attentive and enthusiastically helped the birthday boys and girls celebrate with crowns, robes and songs. We will dine here again if we return to Gloucester

I have visited this restaurant numerous times. At first I actually recommended it to several people, but would no longer do so. The food is excellent. I have not had a meal that I have not enjoyed. The atmosphere was great the first couple of times I visited. There was occasionally a song and dance for someone having a birthday or another celebration which was good fun. However the last couple of times I have visited, it has been a bit too much with music blasting every couple minutes. The volume has got progressively louder to the point that I was unable enjoy my food or speak with anyone else on the table. When I left the restaurant it felt like I had left a nightclub - my ears were ringing. I would not recommend bringing a small child as it will be too loud for them. The service seems to be getting worse. In fact, it was really awful the last couple of times I have visited. It’s really hard to get anyone’s attention to ask for a drink. This is partly because the restaurant is very busy, but also because all the staff are too busy dancing around. Even if you manage to get their attention, it’s was near impossible to communicate with them because of how loud the music is.

Can’t highly recommend this place enough. The atmosphere is incredible especially for birthdays which is what we had. We celebrated two birthdays last night and our waitress - Kleo was so attentive all night for all 16 of us. The staff are all so friendly and the quality of service was exceptional. Also the food was delicious and can’t thank Anatolian palace for a lovely evening! Can’t wait to come back again in the future!!

The service was rude and delayed and the food was very average compared to previous visits - my falafels were stale. The biggest issue was that the ‘birthday celebrations’ took place every 5 minutes and the music was deafening. Our little one got very upset each time as it was just so loud - the adults didn’t enjoy it either as we couldn’t have a conversation. It seems this restaurant has looked to attract a certain older crowd who just want to get drunk and dance to Sweet Caroline for 5 minutes straight, disrupting everyone else’s meal. Would not eat here again and would not recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing meal with their family or partner! It was also more expensive since our last visit, with many mains alone costing over £20.

I don’t know who made the bread and lahmacun , but this is one of the best lahmacun and bread I have ever had in my life also the cocktails are phenomenal. I am pretty sure the bar man is doing a great job. Definitely recommending Anatolian Palace Gloucestershire

Went here for lunch as a regular visitor to Turkey and a lover of Turkish food wanted to see how it compared well it's amazing beautifully cooked authentic tasting and at an amazing price. Service was excellent friendly and attentive definitely 5 stars.

We had our catering done for my son's first birthday party and were explained all the options available. Sarah kept in touch with us right up until the night before the party to make sure everything was okay as well as taking into account dietary restrictions for some of our guests. Everyone loved the food with plenty to go round and extra Turkish delight! We look forward to coming back

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a really long time. The food is exceptional, tasty, and full of flavours. They also have a wide range of dishes to choose from. A special thanks to Shafik for his excellent service. He always checked on us to make sure we were okay. His service has brought us back to this place many times. Came here once and I now pretty much live here. Food is amazing, Turgut and the staff are amazing. The atmosphere is incredible it feels like being home during holiday when the family gets together to celebrate. My mum and I come here all the time when we don’t want to cook but still want a wholesome home cooked meal. Highly recommend ✨✨

Fantastic first lunchtime visit. Absolutely brilliant staff, couldn’t do enough. Food is fresh and fantastic, and importantly it was all served piping hot. Lots of choice too. Efes beer is a must. Brought my friend here to celebrate her birthday. The staff were very polite and friendly, the food was awesome and very fair for the price. They celebrated my friend’s birthday with a song and dessert with a candle😁 it was a very sweet gesture and fun. We had the house special and an extra fries side. Amir was our server, he was really helpful and friendly, such a great customer service.

We had a great night celebrating my Aunties 50th last night as a group of 16. The food was amazing, quickly served and all hot. The bread, dips and side salad were lovely too. The atmosphere was lovely for a special occasion. Turbo looked after our table and gave us all shots-greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend and will be back again 👌

Food was great, service was good. Atmosphere is very lively, energetic & friendly. Happy Birthday frequently bellows out over the PA as servers rush to place a traditional Turkish jacket on the birthday celebrant & sing happy birthday. What was noticeable throughout the evening was that lots of people were smiling and definitely worth a visit for the food and atmosphere. If you’re thinking of going out for a quiet, intimate meal then maybe not for you as tables are packed in close to each other. Waiter bumped into our table twice trying to get to other tables. Saying that though the place was packed out and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Really lovely places with delicious and amazing food the presentation of the food was amazing and quality was great is very filling and there bread with sauce is so nice and a good little side before your main food. Service was great and very fast. And the look and atmosphere with Lovely. Overall will be going again and recommend to other people. Also a extra additional bonus when you get the bill the complimentary Turkish delights are delicious.

If you are at the Gloucester Quays you must eat at this restaurant. My husband and I are staying over at the Quays and had a lovely afternoon sightseeing. We came across this restaurant and decided that we would come back in a couple of hours to eat there. They were full when we came back but they managed to fit us in. The food, service by Sisi and the atmosphere were second to none. You will not be disappointed. Special thanks to Sisi and the ‘good looking’ young man 🤣(he knows who he is) for making us very welcome and looking after us.

The host was very hostile and judgemental, not talkative and felt as if I was a burden. He was staring us down as we weren’t eating much and made us feel uncomfortable. The food was average at best the prawns in my seafood were rock solid and hard to chew. The cocktails were so strong we couldn’t even drink them. Atmosphere was very uncomfortable.

The most amazing food and service I’ve ever had. Everything about this place was fantastic. Food was out of this world and service was top notch. Drinks were really good value for money as was the food. Ambience was good too and the waiters were so very attentive to all your needs. They celebrate birthdays in a big way too as we happened to see whilst there. Nothing negative to say. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food, we had the hot meze and all the meat was lovely! A lot of rice though. Service was good and the restaurant is nice. Reduced the score due to the open feel of the restaurant, not the easiest place to have a date night with other couples sat quite close to you.

Service couldn’t be faulted & it was a busy Monday. Food was fantastic. We ordered the platter £54 to share was really good value.

The food was excellent, the staff were really friendly. The only thing that was slightly off putting was at several points during the night, blaring music started playing and the staff came out dancing. It was entertaining to see, but the music was incredibly loud to the point where you couldn’t even continue a conversation. It’s a restaurant not a night club.

We had booked a table as a party of 3 for a Friday evening 3 weeks in advance but when it came to the evening, we were ‘greeted’ by terrible service. The host was rude from the very first interaction and we seemed like an inconvenience. There were quite a few empty tables so when we were offered a table right by the main door, we asked politely if we could sit elsewhere. We were then taken to another table, which was directly in front of the open door yet again. We did not want to sit with our jackets on whilst eating. We asked again if we could be moved to one of the empty tables towards the back of the restaurant, I want to say there were around 12/15 tables free, to be told no and these were for people who had booked, which we had!! The attitude of the host was disgusting and we ended up leaving and going elsewhere.

Very busy popular restaurant but they fitted us in on Saturday night with no booking. Chefs and waiting staff and bar staff work their socks off constantly! Free bread and dips while you wait and a nice chilled jug of water. Menu is varied with so much choice and reasonably priced compared to other Turkish restaurants we have been to. We both had the mixed grill plate. Huge portion and the flavour of the meat is out of this world. Comes with a big bowl of salad and rice but they gladly gave my partner chips instead. Wine was good and again, well priced. Lively atmosphere and friendly vibe. Children welcome. All in all I can not fault it. Sadly no room for desserts! They happily provided me with a takeaway tin as I couldn’t finish my meal!

incredibly delicious food! Coming from London, we always frequent Harringay (a part of town filled with Turkish restaurants) and this restaurant is better than any I’ve tried there. We ordered the lahmacun which was so crispy and flavorful. We also ordered the lamb beyti kabob and the house special (which is a mixed grill). Everything was insanely flavorful. The grilled meat had a nice rub on top that was so delicious and the beyti kabob had a delicious sauce that wasn’t too acidic or plain. With the yogurt it was such a balanced and perfect meal. Even the complementary bread was fresh and crispy considering we went on a Monday evening and didn’t expect much. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic Turkish food!

AThese people really know what makes the hospitality industry tick. Almost like being on holiday, but without the garish & tacky fanfares. Classy, non-pretentious. Fantastic menu.
