Breakfast buffet - couldn't fault it Lunchtime Bar food - Greast quality and huge large and filling portions. Large whitebait meal could feed an army. Evening Restaurant - Service and wines very good but food simply not great. I'd eat elsewhere if I had a choice again

The more formal restauraut looked good for the cost but we stuck to the reasonably priced (and superb) bar food. All was super.

They got the more difficult things right. The normal cooked breakfast items were done very well, and I don't think it is easy to do this in a buffet-type setting. Good choice of hot drinks. The price, £9.50, is not cheap but neither is it exorbitant. And the room itself on a sunny morning was delightful. If I had a suggestion to make, it would be to have a wider selection of cold items. And perhaps more types of bread. This last might be just me though, as I enjoy the local types so much when I am away.

Bere Farm Wareham RoadWas our favourite but changes are not for the better. I ended up with no meal because of mess up. Not good - would like conversation with management. I think there will be a downturn in custom starting with me!

178 Wareham RoadEaster Sunday lunch. I had the gammon and pineapple, son had a vegitarean meal. Both cooked to perfection. Srvice very good. Friendly welcome and service. I will certainly recommend tis to other members of the family and to friends. Very pleased with my Eastr Sujnday lunch.

43 Station RoadWe were recommended to come here, it’s small limited seating- we’re lucky to get a seat by the window. Good quality, freshly cooked, no nonsense breakfast. What’s not to like.

14 The SquareThis is the place to go for a pastie, a pint and a piece of Dorset Apple cake with ice cream. Don't expect fine dining or a wide ranging menu, but if you want a pit stop, comfort food and a fabulous view then this is it. Parking is just up the road in the village car park.
