Had Sunday Lunch to celebrate a birthday. Beautiful food, lovely people who looked after us all, and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Definitely be going again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We found this place on Google maps trying to find somewhere for lunch, we were not disappointed. It's a very pretty looking place and the staff were very friendly. The food was amazing, we didn't leave anything on our plates. Would 10/10 recommend 👌

Just popped in by chance for 2 drinks with our very large dogs .the welcome was so lovley and welcoming and the guiness was perfect!!!!

A great undiscovered gem we found after moving from a different part of Gillingham into that area, The Dolphin is now our new local .. very friendly welcome, very nice relaxing garden for a few drinks if that’s what you want .. had a lunch, the fish special was amazing and I passed on my thanks to the chef, the antipasti platter was great .. amazing welcoming hosts, great food, relaxing garden, what more do you want … will see you guys again soon .. 👍🏼

Food great, ongoing selection of beers together with a fantastic landlord. Oh and don't forget the weekly pub quiz!

Went to The Dolphin with my Grannie and Mother the other week and had a fabulous meal with great service so friendly, lovely roast dinner, and the best sticky toffee pudding, definitely recommend, not too heavy and delicious

We visited here on a Sunday for lunch and I really can’t recommend this pub highly enough. We received a warm and friendly welcome and we all had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Julie couldn’t have been more helpful enquiring if there were any allergies and assisting with the vegetarian options. Although we were a party of 10 all our meals arrived together, beautifully presented and hot. Make sure you leave space for the deserts as they are all homemade too and are delicious. I wish I lived closer as I would love to visit again.

We had a lovely dinner last night ! Cheesecake is absolutely amazing ! Thank you for the lovely hospitality. We will definitely be back for a meal again. We will pop in as normal for a couple of beers in the meantime. Cheers

Very lovely roast beef and roast pork with lovely crackling even I with some of my Teath missing found it lovely ang ok to eat. Also had a very nice homemade apple crumble with the extra custard I asked for. The service was excellent. I was even asked if I'd like my beef red or well done, so I appreciated the choice.

Have been to visit two nights in a row, food is fantastic, service is friendly, warm and welcoming. Sticky toffee pudding was the best I've ever had! 10/10. Cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend bingo nights too!

I attended a classic car and motorcycle show and whilst there, enjoyed a full English breakfast served by Andy the friendly landlord. Top marks.

We were made very welcome. The beer and cider were very good. We didn't dine this time but will on our next visit. Also, they have two garden areas 1 for smokers and 1 for non-smokers, which we particularly liked.

Upon arrival very friendly staff members welcome you, offer drinks prior to meals and are very chatty and knowledgeable. Pub is immaculately clean, well presented as is the car park. Starter was exceptional, feta salad with orange, a real treat to look at as well as eat. The burger sadly let things down, although home made, it needed more garnish and a bit more of a kick from the harissa probably less chips, looked a bit overwhelming and a tale of two meals.

Just called in for late lunch on my husbands birthday. We had an amazing seafood salad. Fab staff and great service. We will be back !

Lamb rump in orange and rosemary jus was delicious. Vegetables cooked perfectly. Lovely glass of melon. Starter of mackeral pate was also delicious.

Had a great lunch here today. The food was all beautifully cooked and well presented. Owner was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend The Dolphin without a second thought, and we will definitely book again.

Very relaxing atmosphere with friendly and thoughtful staff, and not least a large convenient car park. Food is always excellent, with there usually being a special--can one say signature dish--particularly to my liking. Drinks great too. Make sure to phone to make sure table/meals available as sometimes not the case.

What a lovely experience was had at this gem of a place! Wonderful and genuine service from the landlady (sorry, didn't catch your name!) Totally relaxing sitting in the garden in the crisp winter's sunshine followed by a superb homecooked lunch. Would highly recommend the advertising in the gents!!

Really great Sunday roast. Between our party of 4 we had the beef, pork and the duo... can't fault it! Desserts were also great. Generous! We had the crumble, berry brulee and sticky toffee pudding, All delicious... the sticky toffee pudding cake was so light! We will be returning! Thank you to the friendly staff!

We went for lunch last week. Although my Son lives in Gillingham we had never visited before. Wow, what a treat. We had the burgers and they were amazing. The staff were lovely. I will definitely be returning Thoroughly recommend.

Julie & Andrew, I have been coming down to the Dolphin 🐬 quite regularly, with just Ray and I, or table of 16 people, 10's as well, I do bring all my friends to the Dolphin.. The Menu's are brilliant, the roasts and fish dishes really beautiful, I will say the food is BRILLIANT 👏 love it all, the atmosphere is very good and your staff are Very very pleasant on all occasions. We had a really Lovely meal here. The staff were so attentive and really went out of their way to check ingredients for a food intolerance. The food we had tasted amazing and our Waitress checked on us to ensure that we enjoyed our meal. I cannot recommend this place enough. Really good food, Amazing atmosphere and staff who really care about the quality of the food they serve.

Staff were welcoming ans friendly. Food offering is limited, and didn't provide much vg option. However it is a small place and it might not be enough demand for it. Anyway is always nice to have options.

I run a dining club locally for friends to get together once a month. I try and use local pubs for food locally where our members live. Today we went to the Dolphin Inn. I must say for me it wasn't a one off as I always visit the pub for the menu, quality of food and price before I book a visit. We all had the steak and kidney pie with chips. The pie was a good size, full of meat, which was tender and full of flavour. The chips were standard size and cooked well too. We all had the crumble with custard which again was a nice sized portion. Everyone agreed double thumbs award.

We were staying in Gillingham for 12 days recently and found this delightful, welcoming pub. We ate there on three occasions - the food was excellent each time and the staff were friendly and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend the Dolphin to anyone!

I needed somewhere midway to meet up with my family fir Sunday lunch and came across The Dolphin. Family of 5 adults and 3 children was catered for perfectly. Service was amazing and as for the food, well, I don’t think I have ever tasted a better Sticky Toffee Pudding. Perfectly home cooked food and all at a great price. If you stop here, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again

We had a party of 12 for a lunchtime meal. We were made to feel very welcome by all staff on the day and they went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met throughout our time here. All meals were correct and looked amazing on the plates. We couldn't have wished for a better experience, and will definitely be visiting again.

We had a fantastic meal at The Dolphin on Friday. The food is excellent and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. A lovely combination of a pub that has a restaurant that serves great food. We send all our guests here from our B&B in Gillingham and they always say what a great place it is to go for a drink and food.

Sunday lunch. Of course it is nice and safe viz Covid-19. Friendly - inexperienced? - owners. A little chilly - radiators turned on when mentioned. A 'proper' Sunday lunch (no selection - pork only on that day) pretty good *** The puddings were excellent - home made, classy + delicious **** I would Sunday-lunch-it again. 2 lunches, 2 puds, 2 soft drinks = £35 (May '21)

I ate here for Sat lunch and was really impressed with the way the staff had applied social distancing for customers. I was very worried beforehand as I have been shielding and this was my first meal out. I will definitely be visiting them again.
