Absolutely lovely Fish and chips. Quick service, polite staff and good prices. I would give 10 stars if I could. Plus, their door was open, unlike the one in Tuxford.

One of the worst chicken meats Iv ever had. Made me feel sick. Had to stop eating after 3 bites. Chicken was tough and dry

Passing through from Nottingham and fancied a Kebab with the wife. Came across Dolphin Fish bar. An absolutely gorgeous Kebab. Lovely fresh salad and soft Naan bread. Great food. A lack of happy faces though. Cheer up folks. You do great food so be proud of your work. Thank you so much.

Great little chippy to fulfil that chippy craving you sometimes get! Staff members very down to earth, patient and polite and helpful. Although the shop entrance isn’t disability friendly due to steep step, the staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are treat fairly and are given the same respect as the abled customers and will come out to you for your order etc. TRULY AMAZING STAFF and THANKYOU ALL!!!

Good quality food but feeling a tad taken for a mug Pie special and kids special is £10 in total, so ordered that. I was charged £12.80 because I had my peas in a pot, not on the food!! I'd a fair way to go and didn't want the other items soggying with the peas. I asked the staff behind the counter and wasn't told it would be any more money, and I didn't get any more peas than I would have had. The only difference was 2 X polystyrene pots with lids, how much would they come to? 20p max?? Separate these peas out and they work out around five quid!! But naughty, that. Tut tut.....

Getting very lazy now been 2 time this week and the fish has been sat for hours it’s so dry it can’t be eaten like cardboard

£8.80 for a special kebab more meat in a tin off dog food over priced tasteless never visit again the young server girls looked scared off over doing the portions would not recommend

Food was amazing, staff were also super helpful checking ingredients for allergies

Since we discovered the Dolphin Fish Bar we always make a point of visiting whenever we are in the area. Perfect chips and everything you could want to go with them.

Everything is cooked and tastes so good and fresh. Highly recommended

Chicken curry & chips to die for - love it!

Had the small fish and chips which was very generous in size and was also delicious.

Sometimes ok but a high chance chips will only just be cooked and you end up with a pile of mush for chips. Happened on many occasions now and will avoid in future.

Bad service, dry overcooked fish, soggy chips...

Been here a few times & haven't been disappointed once with the cod, mushy peas & chips special meal. We will return when in New Ollerton.

This was my first visit. The fish and chips were delicious. It's been a long time since I had such a tasty fish and chips meal. Plus it was freshly done so retained its heat on my journey home. The premises were extremely clean too.

The best fish & Chips in or around Ollerton for 10 miles in any direction .The large haddock is snowwhite and absolutely beautiful very friendly staff reasonable prices cannot say enough good things a must try .

Good food but only problem is they don't enforce covid regs and people walk in no face covering and they still serve them despite the sign by the door saying masks must be worn. Not good

Be carefully when you check online if this place is open, we travelled from Tuxford as online it was "open" but it was closed with a notice on door saying closed from Xmas Rve until after New year. A good chip shop but this was annoying.....

Haven’t had fish and chips in forever, wow haddock, chips and mushy peas £8:50. Fish was twice the size of a dinner plate, massive portion of chips and mushy peas. Cooked just right really worth a trip!!

Went in at 8:47 pm (Saturday) and the lady was rude and refused to serve me because they had turned everything off early. It does state online open until 9pm. False advertisement really. Sad times 😔

Value for money, beautiful, meaty, succulent fish, yummy chips, great owner, nice girls what’s not to like? Oh and spotlessly clean too. Highly recommended

Like staff friendly food always hot and plenty always enjoy they get busy and serve quickly their is plenty of different types of food to choose from it is also easy accesable and they have a lovely bright signs to read

Lovely food for years. Usually have small fish and chips and also small chips with mushy peas. Always had change from £5. Today they charged £8:20 and said has been this way for a long time. Robbing cheats, always count your pennies with this lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visited this fish and chip shop recently, it is very clean, the staff are friendly and the fish and chips were very nice. My parents in law go here every week they really enjoy it.

The dolphin is in the middle of the village and easy to get to with on road parking....friendly and cheerful staff and a wide range off choice and whatever you chose is good

Still great quality and good value, chips are a bit dearer than others, however, overall still very well organised and efficient operation , still my number one recommendation. Enjoy.

Top quality food here. Best fish shop for miles!! Chips are always tasty and the chicken tikka meat is pukka! Never had a bad meal yet. Can sometimes be a little wait and the girls can repeat the same questions somtimes when its busy but I don't mind when the foods this good. Keep up the good work :)

Been spoiled in the past, with fresh fish in Whitby , but today fish & chips from The Dolphin Fish Bar, was very good. I really enjoyed them, not greasy but nice dry crisp batter. Will visit again.

Title says it all really - I've moved out of the area, and if we fancy chips we still travel back here. We have chip shops closer but there's no comparison.

We tried this chippy as the one we normally go to seemed to have gone a bit downhill lately. We weren't disappointed, batter on the fish and sausage tasty and nicely done,chips nice too. Shame we are moving out of Ollerton this week or we'd be back!
