Third time I have gone and the chips are undercooked again. It always seems to be the same fryer that is on. I won’t be coming back again.

Food good bit pricey for what you get staff pleasant

Currently working in ollerton and tried seacrest because it looked busy (good sign that it might be good). So i popped in and first time ordered kebab and chips off the lunch menu, the kebab meat was lovely and tender and chips was amazing. Second time I visited I had the mini fish special with peas. Honestly one of the best chip shops I’ve been to for a while, fish was great as was the chips and peas. I will be putting on some serious calories whilst I’m working near this place

On September the 11th 2001 I went here on dinner break from school. It was the first time (of many) that I’d had a battered doner ring. It was that greasy that I decided to not go back to school and went home for a wash and then bed. When my mum came home from work later that day in quite the fluster after what had gone on in America, she was curious to know what everyone at school had been saying about the events. Had to admit to her that I’d been in bed all day after the greasy doner. She was not happy. Every time someone asks where I was on 9/11 I tell them this

A recent discovery for us. The staff are lovely and the food is great. The onion rings got a big thumbs up from my daughter, and they even did some battered halloumi for us which was very tasty.

Best chip shop around the area. Good portion sizes for the price. Been going since I can remember at least once a month. Owners friendly and always say hello. Only thing that lets this place down is a certain staff member always seems to have a chip on their shoulder. No bun intended.

Travelled from Mansfield to here for what I thought would be the best fish&chips( as they used to be), ordered Large Cod which had to be cooked, paid then sat outside, 10 minutes later, fetched my order which was incomplete ( no scratching) when I sat outside to eat it my disgust at the batter, really burn looking, hard, crispy and not eatable, the fish was very good but the chips were all ends. My thoughts are “ too busy talking and doing other jobs, rather than keeping an eye on the fish. When I complained I got a “sorry” and a “ bye” . Got my money but NOT my repeated custom.

Very nice, massive portions. One order was slightly wrong. Ordered lamb and Mediterranean chicken, but also got chicken tikka, which we didn't order as feared it would overpower the rest, which it did. We ordered online and they were packing it when we got there. Reasonably priced too.

Best fish and chips + Chicken meat and chips in ollerton. The chicken meat in the dolphin has changed and has gone right down hill. Looks like my new chippy.

Not local so looked at reviews for a good chippy. Have to say the special kebab was the best I've ever tasted. Massively generous portions. Wife and child had fish, jumbo sausage, curry sauce and chips and it was 10/10 for taste, friendly staff and the perfect chippy. Thank you Seacrest

Absolutely superb cod, crispy, golden, fresh no smell, skinless and boneless. We drove from Mansfield on recommendation and boy was it worth it!!! I phoned and pre-ordered two large cods, owner was really friendly. When I arrived the fish was ready to go. Staff offer a very polite service, we will be back. The best fish bar in the Mansfield area. Even though I had to travel 20 minutes to get a good piece of cod, man was it worth it. 5/5 Stars. Thank you Seacreast!

Recently got kebab and chips and from there. Plenty of meat but about 10 chips. My mate had just a portion of chips and it was tiny. Could do with more generous portions.

We visited the Seacrest Fish Bar whilst working near Ollerton and was amazed at both the quantity and quality of the fish and chips in my opinion it is really worth visiting, excellent.

We use this chippy often, always find it busy, a sign of a good business, the staff are very competent and fast as well as friendly. The food is good and plentiful, Their fish done without batter is especially delicious, my favourite!! Would highly recommend the Seacrest

Sick of this place, I ordered JUST chips, they put savaloy (whatever that is) on top of them, I'm vegetarian so my meal was inedible for me.

As it says above, best chips in town.....service sometimes a bit snarly dependant on who is serving but travel past other chippys to buy here. Add Sea Bass to you list..no longer expensive and would be a winner !

Friday treat for the lads for doing so well on the job we’re working on near Tesco. We all had Chips,Large Sausage , Cheese and a sauce be beans or curry plus gravy. Never been here so didn’t know what to expect but delicious food and look forward to come to when next working out this way. No pics as we’re all gone before I could take one 😉

Huge portions, friendly staff, but the fish wasn't the tastiest I've had, the batter was too heavy for my liking........but that's just an opinion rather than a criticism. So only 4/5 from me!

Oh my GOD amazing!! Had to detour off A1 tonight rd closed were looking for services before left A1. We saw fish and chips did a U turn and Oh what a fish and chip shop. Crispy NOT oily batter perfectly cooked cod, lovely chips and amazing gravy!! Lovely quick staff. Heading back to Northumberland and tummies full!! Great size portions. WELL WORTH THE UN PLANED DETOUR !!!

This WAS our number one choice for Fish and Chips, but after the server made a mistake - I paid for my food but had to wait, was them accused of leaving without paying and basically had to pay again against my wishes, I have never been back. Good quality but after that, never again which is a shame, but I am not prepared to be shown up like that again in public by some second rate server.
