Days prop old blokes like taffy Roberts long gone the place. Rid that kids game room an restore the carpet and iron tables to start in fitting with the other side. Walls too cluttered with pin ups. Last in with mate bout 12 years back and both left our Guinness after one brave sip. Smell the vinegar an lines with your hooter in the garden standing at the bar an mate needed no convincing both just walked out left two pints full on bar ...

What a delight! A traditional pub with lovely staff that make you feel welcome. Service here is quick and professional with a wide choice of drinks, especially gin! A friendly place to meet family and catch up.

Very friendly old pub, beer was beautiful. They don't serve food on a Monday so we can't rate that but I am sure it would have been lovely. Also allowed dogs X

Don’t know about food, but very friendly place. Made welcome, pool table if required, big beer garden in the good weather, partially covered for the bad weather. Good beers, decent larger, if required. Worth trying out and see if it’s right for you.

Good friendly pub,variety of beers,lager etc. Hot food available at certain times. TV,Pool,Darts etc. Lovely garden area, Occasional Entertainment. No Children allowed in Bar area. Small car park but huge one just next door.

Only stopped off for one drink...we sat outside in the beer garden...

Popped in for a quick drink, didn't eat but food others had looked good. Beer was kept well and served quickly at the bar.

Can get packed the weekend or when the sun's out as it is the best pub in the Village

Proper pub! Great staff, excellent size garden to take kids to play, pool table and darts, nice food served by Harry.. excellent real ales. All round great place to go, will definitely be returning 🍻

Bobbed in for a few beers on the way down to Birmingham to watch the clarets. Great little boozer few games of pool and the local folk were sound as a pound aswell

Was having trouble parking, landlord sorted us out. Beer was very reasonably priced and a good standard.

The dog and partridge is a great place for socialising and we also have darts and pool teams, a football team. Great selection of drinks and also a great food Tuesday- Saturday. It has a big garden for the kids to run around in or if u want to sit out in the sun. We have some great music on aswell

So busy place. Took over 15min to buy a drink. And a queue by the toilets were ridiculous. Table was very dirty and sticky- after cleaning half of it the wipe was completely black. But at least atmosphere was very nice.

Beer ,staff , facilities and all that goes with running a pub was fine .

Me and my girlfriend decided to venture in this pub after a few hours shopping, plus considering we've lived in the area for many years and literally pass this pub every single day and we always wanted to try it ,so yesterday afternoon we did just that,and loved it.. a nice authentic, cosy and friendly local pub.. we were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff too.. the selection of beer was great and the drinks we had were perfect too.. we will definitely visit again..

Late 16th century timbered building still serving up a great pint. Dog friendly. Full of charm and history worth a visit.

Spent a very enjoyable afternoon in there.

Took some friends who hadn't been for many many years sat the 7th Dec they were as we were very impressed with the food , hubby had the famous steak and ale pie it's nice to have a choice of pastry on top or mash which he had and was very happy our friends had lasagne and the gammon I had fish and your famous home made chips absolutely delicious it was like a whale but beautiful, highly recommended will be back soon merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone 🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅

The Dog is the best pub in the high street, but not much competition! Went in on Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. popular with locals, they sell gallons of Carling. Marston's guest ales including nice pint of OLD EMPIRE.

Nice pub, good atmosphere (we went during lunchtime on a Saturday) - From a London point of view, the prices are excellent. Also has a massive beer garden along with a smallish car park.
