Pizza Mahan in Wolverhampton

Prepare to receive freezing cold pizza and sides which goes soggy because you need to microwave it, if you have a microwave available that is or it's just cold food for dinner. Not best happy. They don't answer the phone either

We been there few times and always order their pizza it's AMAZING a must try. The dought is very light and fresh .

Absolute waste of money on the chicken fillet meal. £8 and you get more in a happy meal. Tiny portion. No salad or sauce offered on food. Had to ask charged 50p for a slice of cheese on top of the £8. Quality of burger is ones you buy from Asda not fresh fries were almost counted and put in the plate. 10-15 fries each meal. Fries cooked with something else as found in with fries.

Absolute disgusting and terrible customer service We ordered on line and our order was for £57. we chose the option to pay by cash.which was given on line. They had all our contact details and not once was we called or emailed. 1 hour and 10 minutes later I call to ask where our order was. They didn’t answer so I called off another number to which they then answered. They then proceeded to tell me they had cancelled our order and never notified us at all. They said they do not accept cash option which was not actually specified on line as we took the cash option they said we could on line. Since speaking to them they are not prepared to accept our order. They then called me on the number provided to them in the beginning to say they would. However they didn’t ring in the beginning to say they won’t accept the order. I must also add they only rang once they was told not only myself and my immediate family won’t order from them also our cousins will not be doing so. So I suggest you all stick to the nice companies like dominoes, Pizza Hut or even better pizza tower for your future orders. They have been informed on the phone about our bad reviews about them and the lady in question said she doesn’t care about our reviews about our experience with them as they get a lot of customers anyway.

Ordered on just eat, placed the the order and within minutes a phone call to say I need to pay £4 more to get the delivery, surly this is included in the final price. Made a complaint to just eat about this bad practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ordered tonight 4th November 2023.....Well it was really early hours of the 5th just before it was closing... We've had burgers from most of the takeaways within the Wolverhampton & Walsall area. I'm one of the fussiest eaters going.... I had the cheese burger meal deal..... It was so "TASTY & JUICY"..... cooked to "PERFECTION"..... It was absolutely "GORGEOUS"..... What else can I say apart from... We've tried the rest.... but now have found the "BEST" We're looking forward to ordering again soon..

£8.40 for a ‘Large’ donner meat and chips!! If you like a few pieces of microwaved donner meat and cold chips for £8.40, then this is definitely the place for you. If not, i suggest you avoid this place and go to an alternative takeaway.

I do really like the food and the prices are pretty good. However Use a calculator to work the price out cus THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU. Use your phone calculator.

£12.20 for practically nothing. DO NOT ORDER IF YOU LIVE IN A FLAT...... THEY WILL MAKE YOU COME OUTSIDE AND GIVE YOU GRIEF ABOUT IT. Just terrible.

Very rude when disabled and they after wait big disappointment 😞 to our family member never go again and the food that they delivered was almost cold but enough to take your teeth 😬 out if they have detaches... no care..

On a night out in town this is the only place to end up for food. Pizzas are always lovely

Pizza not very nice chips were soggy and they wanted an extra three pound upon delivery, when I told him I’m not paying extra he stormed off.

MY CARD WOULD NOT WORK ON JUST APP SO I RANG AT 2AM AND THEY DELIVERED SO TOP SERVICE..AFFORDABLE, ATTENTIVE AND FOOD IS GOOD QUALITY AND TASTY. THANK YOU HAVE ORDERED AGAIN AND VISITED GREAT SERVICE SHOULD DEFINITELY TRY MIXED KEBAB BURGER FOR £2:80, SALAD, COOKED BUN PLENTY OF MEAT .

Come from Birkenhead ordered food to the hotel I stayed..... Fast service.... Food was absolutely diabolical chicken wings were dry as a nuns crutch..... Pizza like rubber..... I don't expect much like.... But no place like home ah

placed an order online and PAID already for delivery, got accepted and was estimated to be delivered in around 45 minutes. An hour later and it still didn’t turn up, at this point I keep ringing the phone and no one is answering. Will be getting in touch with my bank for a refund. Don’t order from here if you want to avoid disappointment or wasting your time.

After waiting a extra 20 mins on my food it arrived only part of my order the man on the phone was the rudest man person i’ve ever spoken too the customer service was disgusting i cannot belive the way he spoke to me after calling me vile names he put the phone down and hasn’t picked up the phone since 8pm the time time is now 9pm previous to him shouting at me he asked what he could do to what i responded with was send me the rest of my food doesn’t seem like too much to ask for? after this was when i revived the vile way he spoke to me. highly recommend you avoid this place the food is vile anyway

Placed an order at 6:30pm was told around 20 mins to deliver. Was never delivered.

The customer service lately has been appalling and after receiving the WRONG order 2 HOURS LATER, the man shouted at me on the phone and hung up on me. There is also cockroaches in the shop. Would not recommend !

Very disappointed food was an hour and half late, when it came it was cold and it had jelapino on which burnt my mouth of. My Partners cheese burger has the smallest amount of salad and it was burnt. Plus had the phone put down on me when trying to order I was told to do it online. Very rude

Orderd a couple of pizzas from here when they arrived they was really burnt also not enough ingredients on them as I ordered a bbq chicken and was like a normal cheese and tomato won't be returning here and will be going for a full refund

very disappointed tonight within overall service. ordered previous week and service was perfect. Today pizza did not turn up until 30mins late . when I called up to ask why there was a delay was met with a rude reply. Definitely will not be ordering from here again and will not be recommending.

Very clean and great choice of food, I always recommend to my friend's. Gaffa is a great man and very friendly with chat with... Last time I went in I dropped my bank card down the side of the counter - he was very willing to retrieve it for me... Great place.

Pizza was delicious delivery was in time I will definitely return to this place for next time.

Really bad food. The wrap was empty with wripped apart chicken strips... See pics. The tuna baggette contained no tuna just wet soggy mayo and onions which we did say we were allergic to. The chips tasted really old and like they'd been under a heat lamp for hours maybe days. Couldn't eat straight in the bin.

Pizza is ok if your hungry but they will definitely over charge you. I paid £6.40 for a can of pop and a pizza that was advertised at £2.70. when I asked about it they told me there's a 40% surcharge on card? When I told him that's not legal he insisted it is. No refund was offered. So yeah... Pizzas ok but you will get unapologetically robbed.

I wish there could be under rate stars, i have ordered a pizza from 9 pm and they bring me a can of juice and a sandwich for 19 pounds around 11 pm, i called them and they start screeming as it was my foulth ,then they blocked me on the phone. I don't want to be a bad person but it was happen to many times. Stay home if you can't do your job, do not take ppls money for nothing.

Tonight I bought a regular bbq chicken pizza and fries, first the box of fries was handed to me open and I dropped them on the floor which the man kindly replaced. I travelled home with my good only to discover that the pizza I had been given was a used box that only had remains of someone’s pizza and not the pizza I had ordered. Disappointed as I Have never had any problems with the food or service I previously received from this place.

On the way to Wolves v Espanyol we called in for food. I had the Mexican pizza which was fantastic, one of the best pizzas I've tasted. Coffee was really good so we ended up having three each. The lady serving us was so nice as well, so friendly and helpful. I'd always go back on match days.

This is an amazing place. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff, nice and clean. Highly recommended to try Mahan and you wont become regret it. Thanks to Mahan pizza ;)

Went here for a pizza last night on my way to get a taxi. I had the meat feast pizza which was tasteless and full of grease. A delivery driver walked in, cut a pizza up without washing his hands and then started pointing at me to say it was mine. Probably why they only have a 2 star hygiene rating

The pizzas were very good and it's was cheap. The staff were using gloves while serving so extra points for that.

Pizzas aren't too bad but the sign on door says buy extra large pizza and get regular FREE for £11•99 But extra large is £10so not free??? Needless to say I did not get my regular pizza

Ordered from here on 02/06/19 pizza and fries. Pizza was average but the fries were not even edible due to the way they arrive in a melted container clearly having been reheated before delivery ( solid fries not anything but a crispy shell). After eventually getting through on the phone they told me it's not a problem as this is a standard food container and had no interest that the food was completely spoiled .the place clearly needs help would not recommend to my worst enemy!

Ordered a pizza meal deal for my kids. No real complaint with that can’t go wrong with a cheese pizza and chips. However I ordered the “mega chicken wrap”. Which consisted of a wrap, 4 tiny bits of chopped up chicken, no salad, no sauces. Looked vile! I never expect the food to look like the photo used but this is just ridiculous. I don’t know who looked at that food and thought it was fine to be sent out. I won’t order again.

They were late with delivery but so worth it and great value for money. Definitely worth ordering again soon.

The restaurant was absolutely foul to me. I’m so so angry. Firstly, the food was an hour late. When it arrived, it was cold, the cheesy chips looked like someone had ejaculated on them, and the “garlic bread” was shop bought soggy bread with garlic butter on it. There was also no sauce on the spaghetti bolognese, it was cheese (which I asked them not to put on it), beef, and pasta. When I called, the man started screaming at me saying it was my fault, saying I didn’t ask for sauce. Spaghetti Bolognese is made with sauce, so I was baffled by this. I took images of the food as evidence. The staff were so abusive and foul when I asked for a refund, and would not stop screaming at me, I couldn’t get a word out. They then hung up on me before I could say pretty much anything, and then blocked my number so I couldn’t call them back. Not to mention they charged 90p for a cab of coke that had 69p written on the side. I am incredibly angry and I’m incredibly upset. If you want to be verbally abused, Order at Pizza Mahan. From the reviews, it doesn’t look like I’m the first. The staff member in question should be fired and this place should be closed down. Images attached.

Ordered a family size veg pizza, the pizza was cold and half of the toppings were not there. Better of going to the shop to order as you can watch them make it.

Amazing service! Top quality foodof different varieties! They never fail to dissapoint, they are one of the best places to eat and relax in Wolverhampton.

Ordered kebab with rice and a large portion of fries at 7pm. Didn’t get my order till 8.45pm. Had to phone several times to find out what’s happening with my order and every single time it was one excuse after the other and both Mohammad who is the owner of the shop and his worker were extremely rude. Once we opened the food, kebab was a frozen kebab from months ago and it was burnt at the ends, rice was a old frozen rice which was warmed up. Fries were cooked from the morning! It was so hard and disgusting that you couldn’t eat it. When called to complaint to Mohammad, he was extremely rude to my mother and insulted her and he insulted my mother on several occasions trying to say his food is good, we just don’t know what GOOD kebab taste like!!!! I had enough of his insults and decided to give him piece of my mind. If you are Persian, then you know exactly how kebab should taste like, if you are from different nationality then you may good idea of how Persian kebab should taste like but I can guarantee you that if you thought you are getting a Persian kebab from this place then you will love it when you actually try real good kebab. This place just give you the worst kebab you could ever have. Frozen rice and kebab! I will never order from them again. But if you would like to be insulted, get your food extremely late and get frozen food then do order from pizza Mahan.

Delicious! Very happy. The chips were crispy and tasty and the kebab was filled with delicious salad and big hunks of marinated chicken and the pitta was large and soft and tasty. The best kebab around!

Order wasn't correct, delivered chicken nuggets instead of a vegetarian choice. Was rude when I called, took ages to agree for a refund then wouldn't refund the money. Just Eat got involved and the restaurant still refused to do anything. Never order again.

Everything was fine till we got our food, the chicken wrap was just a couple of chicken strips on the wrap and nothing else. We had to rap the wrap our selves. My pizza was burnt and tasted horrible, we will not be ordering food from here again!!

I was very disappointed with this service I am appalled, the food came it was cold and the order was confirmed to be delivered at 10:15 however didn't arrive till 11:00 am disgusted as service is normally good however I was also rudely spoken to down the phone as the man told me I was inpatient and my food would be 6 minutes however this 5 minutes turned into 35 minutes will not be ordering from here again! Best pizza we have had in a while we order at 1am driver rang to say he was on his way and driver rang just before he got out side! And I thought that was brilliant considering I had kids asleep! Defo will order again 100% thank you.

Tbf the chicken wings were good but the pizza is questionable.

Food arrived over an hour late and cold. Chicken strippers weren't cooked properly and thrown away, I asked for donner kebab and they sent chicken. Garlic bread was literally a few slices of a normal loaf of bread with some rubbish garlic butter thing on it. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Delivered our food 2 hours after ordering after saying it would be an hour max. I rang the restaurant to see where my food was and the said it would be 20 minuets. My food arrived 40 miniutes later. Our order was wrong they didn't read the notes to restaurant that was written. The food is normally very good when you go into the resturant however on this occasion the chips and onion rings weren't of a good quality and seemed to have been cooked and left around for a long times. So in all it was disappointing as we usually get good food when we go into the branch.

First time user, both pizzas were fine, unfortunately both Mexican kebab melts had no cheese or Mexican spices on, they were just ordinary kebabs, very disappointed.

The food, as ever, was decent (although cheesey fries are always an adventure in minimalism). Service however was diabolical. Ordered at 2.40am and was told that it would arrive at 3.15. At 3.45 there is no sign but the app says it had been delivered. 2 phonecalls later, food still hasn't arrived. Eventually food arrives, 55 minutes late. Which is when the driver tries to charge me an extra £3 for delivery. Not the first time I've had issues with delivery from here but definitely the last.

The pizza was delivered 2 hours late. Pizza already paid for...Kids were very hungry and restless. Called them an hr after delivery time, they said back log of orders driver will be 5 mins. Still no pizza arrived for an hr after that, called again...Excuse given this time, they went to wrong place. They were given a mobile number which they could have called, so theres no excuse! No compensation offered! If your hungry dont use them! Disgusting service! Trying to chase up to make formal complaint.

I ordered my food and they accepted. Just before they delivered it i had a phone call from them demanding i pay more money for delivery. I had already paid 3 pound delivery i wasn't going to pay anymore. When i said this he started getting aggressive and quite rude by shouting at me down the phone. But there was no way i'm paying more than 3 pound delivery must be mad to even think that. TBH there lucky i even paid 1 pound delivery its only because it was 3AM and no one else was open. I never use takeaways that charge delivery. But yes as i said very rude and shouting at me down the phone.
