Went into the White Swan on Weds 14th Aug..My friend who is a vegetarian ordered from the breakfast menu mushroom benedicts...when it arrived she took a bite of it and thought it tasted salty , quickly realising it was infact black pudding and not a mushroom. She did get her money back but there was no really apology which was very disappointing.

I had one of the worst experience here, tea cup & glass used for serving drinks were dirty (now it’s both cups not even one) also, my go to fish & chips which I had enjoyed in other branches was really awful here, the chips was cold, fish was not properly cooked & no lemon was given.

Good for sports. Sort the San Miguel out

floor staff and bar staff exceptional, never experienced such a good environment before. the blonde girl is just great, the brown guy was exceptional as well

Great pub Daniel was sensational

I came in for drinks and food with my family last Wednesday. I had a very pleasant visit. The manager on shift was very helpful and friendly, we didn't get his name but he was wearing a dark shirt with stripes and had short hair. The staff were attentive and anything we needed help with they were happy to help. I'd recommend this pub to everyone I know.

One of the best wetherspoons I've been in staff so polite food amazing bit noisy on a Friday evening but no trouble

We came again just for drinks this time but I also was tempted and not disappointed with the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream - yum yum

I would highly recommend visiting this pub, great prices and great staff, especially Kim who took great care of us, and deserves a promotion!!

Good value typical spoons pub and very busy

One of the best pub I ever been. Very nice price. Just one thing to mention which the waitress I’m not sure her name bring me wrong order first place but she offered replace I totally understand everyone make mistakes as long as they tries to satisfy costumer I won’t even bothered 😊

Very popular pub in the centre of Solihull. Large number of buses drop and pickup passengers within metres and a railway station providing national services a little over five minutes walk. The extensive Touchwood shopping centre is across the street offering a huge range of shops and supermarkets. The plentiful menu of cooked meals and salads , prices including drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic attract many customers. Meals design ed for children are popular with families.

Great food and drink at an affordable price. Staff were really good too. Pub was very busy but we were still served quickly. It's a nice pub to visit. Good beer selection but no fever tree tonic for my wife which was a shame. She had to have britvic tonic in her gin. Other than that there were no issues

Dark and dingy. Smells musty. Toilets disgusting. Needs waders to enter or a wet suit. Bar staff rude and favour regular punters . Waited ages in line just to be discarded service to some guy the bar staff favoured more. Than the fact of who was next in line. Pittyful

Food tasty and hot . Table bar service appalling . Could see drinks ready but bar waiting staff too busy chatting . Had to collect drinks in the end as he had no intention of wotking

The pub itself is lovely, staff are friendly, nearly all smile when they greet/serve you. There are a couple of downsides. 1) Disabled Toilets: left open for ANYONE to use. I've heard the staff say to those that ask for the key cause they can be bothered to go upstairs and leave it open. So when someone like myself on crutches/sticks goes in, the floor is wet, cause the blokes that use it, pee all over the floor or the toilet & don't wipe it up!!! DANGEROUS!!! 2) The food: I think it's about time ALL Wetherspoons cooked FRESH FOOD!! All this processed stuff is file. I had last week, steak & kidney pie, mash (if you called it that), garden peas, & apparently an onion/red wine gravey. They only thing that stayed hot enough for me to finish was the inside of the pie, which didn't have much filling. It was VILE!! Their katsu chicken curry is worse. Its strips of chicken, served with what I'm assuming, should be warm or hot curry sauce, but NO, it's cold!! I feel as a regular customer to at least 3/4 different of these establishments that in the kitchen they are just LAZY!!!

Been to this Wetherspoon a handful of times now. Very spacious, chilled, good atmosphere and staff are efficient and mostly friendly

We are staying in a hotel, but choose to have breakfast here, as it's reasonably priced and available until 12. There is plenty of choice too.

When are the coffee machines going to be repaired. Its now a week. I am going to pump house.

Management - You may want to re-train your staff to acknowledge who is waiting before others at the bar before serving them! Waiting at the bar for 10 minutes or more and not getting noticed whilst others have just arrived and get served immediately is bad service! It's happened more than once and is down to bad training!

The worst wetherspoons food I've ever tasted. Greasy food with a horrible taste.

This Wetherspoons have the best security guards I’ve ever met in my life abz and hasan have the best customer service, there kind and respectful and make the experience enjoyable also the bar staff are very friendly

Abz and Hasan are the reason I come into weatherspoons everyweek because of this door staff, apart from the cheap drink they always have me leaving with a smile, bar staff are alright

Our favourite spot for the past year down to staff and bouncers. Can’t stress enough how welcoming and lovely Abu and Hassan are, real gentlemen!

A great meeting place. Good prices. Great ale. Lots of seats. A typical weatherspoons with an eclectic mix.

Not my favourite 'spoons' but it is close to my bus stops. I stopped using this pub because service at the bar was always difficult,staff said queues were not necessary yet many people ( mostly men) just walked up and were served before those waiting patiently. However since down loading the app I no longer struggle to get served. Quite a noisy venue people obviously enjoying them selves. Only had drinks and dessert Millionaire shortcake with ice cream added blueberries and strawberries which was lovely.

Food was served late a plate was missing had to ask for it. Cold when arrived steak very tough. Very small portions for the price. Atmosphere very good staff friendly and approachable. Bar service is good. Tables left with empty plates and dirty. Had to ask for crockery to be moved in order to sit at a table.

First time I've eaten their 8 inch pizza : a very tasty vegetarian one. Pint of Leffe Blonde Belgian beer was an ideal pairing. Definitely to be repeated.🙂🍺

A bigger seating area than other Midlands Wetherspoon pubs. This is good since tables can be hard to find at busy periods at all Wetherspoon pubs.

Typical witherspoon although not as big as some

Went during lunchtime, didn't have to wait too long for our meal, even though very busy. Clean and tidy throughout. Drinks machine wasn't working, so had to go thirsty

Visited on Valentine's day afternoon. It was about half full. Typical Wetherspoon food. Staff was nice and attentive.

Possibly the worst WS in the country. Meal was half missing due to "Stock shortage" when we asked why they didn't tell us, manager became very angry about how busy she was and she didn't "need this today"! Then called security, security were great and actually agreed with us.

Lovely and warm with the cheapest coffee in town.

My husband I popped in for one drink last night. Ordered on the app as we frequently use weatherspoons Shirley . After waiting 15 minutes I went up to the bar and asked a young boy where our drinks maybe as we have been waiting a while. He told me we could not have any and were barred. I asked him why, no response. We asked to speak to the manager who stood by her staff member and said we were barred. We had done nothing at all. Just went in sat down ordered from the app and then questioned why our drinks were late. We were not rude , never swore and although we had both had a drink were not inebriated. We are both mid 50,s and in all my life have never ever been treated so bad. I'm still in shock at how bad we were treated. I will be writing to customer services. What a disgrace ! Woke up this morning and still in shock at our poor treatment .

disgusting food. I ordered fish and chips and my daughter a burger. the waitress came and said there was no fish so I ordered lemon and herb half chicken and chips by the time mine came my daughter had nearly finished. the chicken looked green and grey and smelt off I tried a small bit and was nearly sick. my daughter took it back and I had pizza instead which came with a steak knife to cut it. this was burnt. honestly worse food experience ever. hopefully I dont get food poisoning. went there on Saturday 20th January 2024. 6.30pm

They was no cups for tea or coffee, I ask if I could have one as I got bad hands ,gave me a paper cup that I couldn't hold well and the tea went down my jumper and trousers...not good for people who need help

Great prices but staff not so clever. Must say it was busy and I guess after Xmas rush the staff had probably had their fill. Tables were not cleared away very often especially when they became empty and full of plates and cutlery

This is a god tier spoons. I love this spoons so much. Very good seats, no no, the best seats, yes. You may say it's just a spoons, but to me, this is my home, I would raise my kids here. I like the food a lot (most of the time). The drinks here are very good no complaints there. The staff I must say are very friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming to this spoons again. If not, I will be sad. Please come to this spoons.

Unfortunately my Dad has come down from Scotland & the staff including manager have refused to take Scottish money as this is 'company policy' as there are 'to many forgeries' & will not accept them. Embarrassing for me as I went the bar for him & poor customer service for legal tender. A shame as its a good pub & always enjoyed it in here.

Large Wetherspoon pub with great staff. Handy location for buses.

Food temperature,quality and quantity has reduced since our last visit which is a shame.

Daughter and I decided to pop in for lunch.we both ordered the small fish and chips and it really was small. Compared to other Wetherspoons we have eaten in and chose the same meal, this was small. Very little fish but lots of batter, a literal handful of chips but plenty of mushy peas. We did speak to a server who suggested changing the meal or even going for the large fish and chips which obviously cost £2 each more. It was explained that the small fish is literally half the size of the big one. The server was lovely about it and we were very polite speaking to her (no need to be otherwise). We had the other meal served as a large fish and chips. Very freshly cooked so was hot. It was nice but that was it. Shan't be going back there though. As I say the server was lovely about it. The food was nice, the serving size though was more kids meal size The plus side was that my daughter and I were actually able to talk quietly and still hear each other. The talking volume in other Wetherspoons has meant shouting is the only way to be heard

Varied clientele, good choice of real ales, usually flat, (pulled too slowly).... badly in need of refurbishment. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere

Does what it says on the can. Very good value drinks and a great range of real ales. The clientele are not always people one would choose to be amongst... 🤔

Awful staff . No order in the place . Staff was serving regulars before old people who had been queing. Staff was rude to said old person when a complaint was made . I'm traveling from London and I'm appalled at how bad this place was

Clean rooms with comfy beds with kettle & tea etc. Rooms were quite dark but there was scaffolding around the Hotel that was then being removed the following day. Would have had sea view when scaffolding was removed.

I’m a wheelchair user - I was ignored at the bar until a man in the queue asked for me to be served. I had to ask for the table to be cleaned then was served a cold burger and chips with a dirty knife again having to ask for clean cutlery. Not a good experience

Was a nice lunchtime visit in the sun sat outside, drinks served to our table. So much easier and quicker than waiting at the bar.

White Swan let themselves down badly today ordered a large breakfast for table fifty four it came with no eggs only one hash brown

White swan Solihull excellent service staff and very Helpful and professional Food is Excellent l have a breakfast it tastes lovely and great value for money. Coffee buy one mug and refills are free. The white swan is a must visit if you are in Solihull town centre.

nice breakfast although the tomatoes were hard and not cooked, the waitress apologised. The kitchen said it was because the kitchen was busy !!!

Standard Wetherspoon pub, good table service.

Ordered American pancakes which arrived with no bacon....when I asked about the fact that there was no bacon....I was told that I had ordered the wrong thing if I wanted it with bacon!! But picture clearly shows bacon?.....I was then given the pancakes back by which time they were cold along with the syrup....after a few minutes the assistant who I had spoken to regarding the pancakes came back up and asked if everything was o.k with our food😬....I did say clearly I'm not happy with my food as I have spoken to you about it...but she could not understand why I was not happy with my food....I did say why had she asked when it was clear I would not be happy...she said that she was required to ask everyone ....she still could not understand why she should not have asked....I pointed out that while she had gone to discuss the lack of bacon my food got cold that no offer of changing the order for pancakes with bacon was given....she then walked away and we could hear her discussing loudly with her colleagues how she was only doing her job....I can only add that at no point was I rude or raised my voice but due to her rudeness my husband and I left without completing our food
