The Dog & Duck in Plymouth

When it's busy it's really good,drinks not over priced.ild definitely return

Two of us came in on a Monday evening/afternoon and ordered a lime and soda and a coca cola which were well priced. We then played a couple of pool games. Nice atmosphere and polite bar staff. Will be coming back again.

The staff were polite and friendly, I didn't eat so couldn't really rate the food. I enjoyed the hour I was there.

Hygiene policy is not including the bartender to clean the restrooms facilities in same time still working behind the bar without any sanitizers products,in fact after the servicing the toilets with no gloves and using the cleaning product with high risk for food poisoning ,the person was back to do his actually description on his employment with not even clean himself and start do orders including touching the glasses and no concerns for higher risk for food poisoning on his customers.... P.S. security guy was engaged with his private things and not was on his work place to see who is coming in,no ID checks ,no take a action with problems with which he even don't know because is not there when he supposedly to be ..... Huge lack of not caring and concern about the place

A drinking establishment for refined gentlemen of impeccable taste.

If I fancy a beer I'll probably go to wetherspoons next time

Went for a work night out really lovely place got served very quickly

No food but can bring your own in and eat it. Excellent friendly staff and landlady. Highly recommend!

Stella establishment, the cornerstone of plymouth life. The only bar in plymouth that you are not only free to but are encouraged to smoke inside.

Bar staff are comical, fun and friendly. Drink prices are competitive wih other bars and large range of drinks available. Pool Table and Darts available as well.

Nice little pub on Mutley used to drink in their almost 20 years ago other than clientele nothings changed friendly

Free pool good music and great atmosphere. Friendly staff aswell as locals, made to feel welcomed on my first visit.

Great dive bar that is open until 2am Friday, Saturday nights.. Pool table that's free play and live music 🎵 on occasion!!

'spit and sawdust' pub selling a very limited choice of real ale. One would proudly have a choice of 3 different ales served from the bottle. Unfortunately, also has a reputation of violence and an undesirable cliental.

You dont know crazy until you've drank here.

Great Beer Great Company Great Dukebox. Cheerfull Staff very Enjoyable Cheers Dog & Duck we had pub games and costumed spooky effort for halloween by the lovely staff, all add to a jolly atmosphere all at your local , we will be returning soon highly recomend folks.

It's an OK place. Bit spit and sawdust.You need to be rather slim to fit in the toilets, size of a Tardis without the inside getting bigger!

Good place to go before moving further into town. Unfortunately seen some fights in there though so not a good choice for taking your granny for a drink.
