A great place for sports games in Cambridge

Called Saturday afternoon before football game Scampi and chips 6 quid bargain We also had a few pints of some hazy ipa Can't remember name of ale But it was a right pint Would definitely recommend

Was in a hurry but nipped in for a very quick pint and a Sunday roast, staff were friendly, service was quick and the roast was enormous! Highly recommended

Lone traveller came to enjoy new mates old local. Mary and Steve were a hoot, proper locals with great chat. Lady behind the bar served with a smile and drinks were not overpriced. Had a great time over the hour before having to walk up the road to the train station

Didn't eat, but a couple of good beers, good range of other drinks and nice chat with the locals.

Love the Dobblers good friendly atmosphere. Food is very tasty and good value for money. Meet local people I have know since my childhood there and some I want to school with. Good for people who love to watch football, cricket and horse racing. What I call a good pub.

Had a wonderful time meeting the locals and experiencing the culture.

Great place for happy hour with friends. Cold beer with several options. Good food. Great way to watch games of various sports. At the time the service was not very pleasant.

I ordered scrumpy but they didn't use the tap she took my glass out the back so I'm guessing it's from the bottles for 5 pounds from the shop

Great little pub. Working away for the week so stayed in the Premier Inn up the road and this pub is the only one in the area that actually has Sky Sports and BT Sport. Every other pub we tried before finding this one doesn't show live sport. The food is great aswell. We all ordered pizza and chips whilst watching the football. Pizza was pretty big considering how cheap it was and the chip portions are generous. I'll definitely be coming back here when next working in the area.

Friendly staff, footie screens. Interior is run down it does not look inviting from the outside but it was a good place to watch a game.

The atmosphere is very stale, not the friendliest of customer service, and the place could use a real tidy up to make it more appealing both inside and out. The drinks themselves were awful I couldn't finish it, I don't know if there lines need a serious clean or what. But overall just would not recommend visiting

On a visit to Cambridge found this bar just in time to watch the last day of Premiership. Good coverage of City, Liverpool and Leeds games. Friendly pub with good atmosphere.

Argyle on tour!! Just watched our team get stuffed 2 nil. Ah well never mind. ....had to find a pub close by to the Travelodge...and this was it! A typical local pub, there was a pub quiz in full flow and lots of people taking part. I had an Eagle IPA which was excellent and the lads had pints of coke. Very good variety of crisps and peanuts ....so we tucked in. They had a pool table and the lads had a quick game. Nice atmosphere, lots of bikes parked outside.....its difficult getting used to seeing them everywhere as the main means of transport...

This place was really nice because I was there.

Convenient street-corner pub, sports on a big TV screen, good range of beers on hand-pumps.

Pub was very old fashioned and needs updating. There wasnt enough space around the pool table to play the game properly. You literally had to have your cue up 45 degrees to be able to play most shots if the white was near a cushion. Ordered a pizza to and it was very greasy. Drinks also expensive, we are in Cambridge but a pub that needs a lot of upgrading shouldn't be charging the prices they do.

I called in around lunch time hoping to get a bowl of soup at the very least but was greeted by a growling dog and an empty pub to be told that they didn't serve food despite advertising clearly outside that Good Food was served inside!

Great pub, great atmosphere... proper back street boozer with lovely staff and great punters. All major love sports shown on multiple screens. Highly recommend.

Local bar in Cambridge. They have live sports screening. Watched UCL 2019 final. Good crowd and lots of beer options on tap.

Old style saloon bar with original woodwork and fireplaces. Dartboard and pool table. Reasonable prices on food and drink. Plus big TVs for watching the football. Usually quite quiet

Was a good laugh almost witnessed a punch up also a little bit of molesting but other than that was a great hour.

Cosy traditional Pub with few fire places always on in the winter, my favorite football temple to watch premier or international football, good selection of bear, real Ale and nice pizzas (should try "el Clasico").
