Really enjoyed my pizza from here last night. I ordered from Just Eat, and the order had gone past the expected delivery time, yet was marked as 'delivered' to me. I've had a bad experience with this a couple of times before with other places (and on calling been told the driver had gone awol and just marked it delivered). It was also past 1am and I had work early the next day. Just wanted to add a fair review to say the food arrived less than 10 minutes later, the guy was sweet and apologetic, and the pizza hot and tasty, I really enjoyed it! Sorry they won't let me edit my Just Eat review, but I appreciated it and will definitely order again!

I don't live on Parkside any more but it's always worth the trip to collect from The Direct Pizza, even though I have two other pizza places on my front door. Highly recommended. Super friendly staff too.

Horrible food, service, and delivery time. I was advised that another portion would be delivered when they are again in the area,what if they are not today and what time would this be????? Never again

We ordered our food at 8:03pm, it is now currently 10:30pm our food is still not here. We rang at 9:30 and were told to wait 30 minutes as they only had one drive, i rang them back 13 times and noone answered. £58 worth of food and a waste of 2 and half hours of my life.

Really nice pizza, uses proper mozzarella for the crust instead of cheddar, and delivery was quick, food cooked properly and very tasty! Fairly cheap too!

Just ordered from here and it was shocking, I've had pizzas previously and they've been decent. Decided to order some chicken for a change and it was one of the most disappointing take away meals I've ever had the displeasure of eating. I ordered what was advertised as a "chicken fillet burger" and what came was a processed mass produced chicken mince burger and it was massively bland with a smattering of lettuce and a wafer of mayonnaise on all 3 burgers. The chicken which came was even worse, over done in what was clearly old oil, it was bland and completely devoid of flavour. The pieces my kids ended up with were mainly bone skin and breading and were so poor that they ended up having half of our burgers. My wife rang them up after to complain to be told there was nothing they could do as the manager wasnt in, terrible food and a terrible service.

Ordered large pepperoni pizza just not edible not cooked long enough and very heavily loaded with cheese and grease. Called them to complain just was not interested and put phone down on me. Don’t waste your money.

It is what it is really. Is it going to set the world on fire? Nope. Is it a passable budget pizza/burger place? Yes (As long as you take advantage of the deals) We order from their semi-regularly, they are pretty good with dietary requirements in our experience (though I have heard conflicting reports, so maybe we've been lucky?). Ultimately, its reasonable food at a reasonable price.

I went into the shop and ordered a large square pizza with two sides, paying in cash the amount requested and telling the person there that I would send my son over to collect the food later on. When my son went to collect the order, they were told that I had been undercharged and they made him pay an extra £3 before he could take the food! They may well have undercharged me, I don't know their prices, but the vast majority of places would suck that up as their mistake and would not attempt to charge the customer's son extra.

We’ve had this place a couple times recently, we have had most fast food places in town but decided to try this after a leaflet came through the door. The taste of the food is amazing, the staff are friendly and the time is very quick, can’t fault.

Fantastic little gem in the town of Stafford, Always deliver a great service, the guys in the shop are always polite and happy to help out and do the best they can even in busy periods, and this includes the delivery driver too! Will help where he can and always aims to be on time or before!! Great food and great guys!!always recommend!!

As pizza places go in Stafford, this independent offers a very good product for a reasonable price. Good deals on collection and reasonable delivery. Their home made chicken strips are excellent! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Having used this takeaway for a very long time we were shocked and very disappointed to be spoken to in the most appalling manner when we complained our order was fifteen minutes late. We will never use this takeaway again and I would really recommend customer service training for the staff.

After seeing all of the negative reviews on here thought I would comment. Since the new owners took over, we order from here about every other week. The delivery guys are nice and friendly and if there are ever any mistakes on the order (very rare) they correct them really quickly. They have a great selection of food and all of it is really tasty, it also has one of the best cheesy garlic breads that we have ever had.

Pizza order was Chinese flavoured but it seems that flavouring had been missed, so was bland. Delivery guy said they were short staffed but late delivery of 40 minutes was not good enough, even if we got free chicken popcorn.

No te molestes con este lugar. Pedí a ellos, vi a un comentario diciendo que es como Dominos pero eso es muy lejos del caso. Pagué £2 por corteza de cosas y cuando yo no creo que pusieron, hasta que vi un poco de algo que supongo que significa ser queso. palitos de mozzarella y 6 £4,99 eran del tamaño de mi meñique y sin sabor y estaban aguados y frío. La pizza probado horrible tuvimos que dejar el pollo a la barbacoa gustos terrible, y cuando me llamó se negaron a restitución ya que me había comido una porción de cada pizza, pero no había manera de saber hasta que me había comido, si era agradable. Ambas pizzas y palitos de mozzarella están en la tarde para rematar pérdida de dinero

Chicken burger was a tiny little bit of chicken which was dry unfortunately. The chips were OK after a little salt and vinegar. Not much meat on the wings and the chicken breast was dry. Normally the chicken is perfect let down a little this time hopefully better next time.....

After ordering received conformation e-mail all seemed well except food never arrived !!! No delivery made when I rang to find out why they hadn't brought the order I'd already paid for I was treated and spoke to like an idiot he was rude to me and refused to deliver and told to get my money from just eat as I'd paid them not him it was terrible customer service with no reason or explanations to such bad service and no solution to rectifie the problem just eat did refund me but as this was my first experience with just eat will only be cautious repeating using this app

Wasnt happy after my order to then be called up to be told its an extra £3 for delivery charge. Told him to cancel and was then told i have to sort it through the app and i couldnt figure out how so just to make things easier i rang up and had to pay the extra £3 for delivery. Food wasnt great either soggy chips and poor quality pizza.

Food wasn't bad, delivery fairly quick but was made to pay £3 for delivery on top of the payment already made through the just eat ap! Won't be ordering again as I do not like being held ransom for food I have already paid for.

Terrible food. Chicken was over cooked. Chips were cold and stale. Called for a refund and was told it was unfair for them to give a refund. Never using again. Never had such shoddy service and food in this town ever. 100% would never recommend to anyone!!!

Terrible delivery. After an hour and a half waiting, we were notified that our order had been delivered. It had not. For ten minutes we couldn't get through to the phone to even speak to someone about the order. Eventually we got through to find the order was still out for delivery.

I didn't like that warp(bread) but the chicken in it was nice!

If your just having chips then buy from here BUT if your ordering anythink else DO NOT BUY from here, the chicken wrap was soggy, and the chicken fillet Burger was revolting, not happy won't be coming here again,

I've ordered from these guys plenty of times in the past and they're bang on. Great food for the price in my opinion is very reasonable. Delivery drivers are all lovely and polite too, I would highly recommend these guys!!

The potato skins were absolutely beautiful. The bun for the quarter pounder was burnt, the burger tasteless, the salad consisted of brown soggy lettuce. Really let down by the burger after the potato skins were so good!

Jacket potatoe was half cooked with the smallest amount of dry prawns ever wrong pizza which was replaced buy hubby had to wait cold chicken nuggets I order a lot from pizza direct but after tonight never again.

Delivery wasn't too bad, the chips were bland no salt on them, the burger was ok but the bread was abit stale and the wings were quite small so all in all a little disappointed.

Order from here all of the time, the food is always delicous and arrives hot. Delivery time is always spot on and the service is excellent. Would highly recommend this place. The pizzas taste incredible as well, I recommend the cheesey bites!

Good food but took a lot longer than it said it would for it to be delivered to us. Even though I put in the correct address they received it wrong and had to ring me up to ask for the house number again. Also the delivery man didn't have the correct change on him which made paying very awkward. I prefer other delivery places to this one and will not be buying from here again.

Upon delivery we were asked for more money, we explained that we had paid by card on the just eat app but they replied that we were too far away so they needed more money. The order was for over £30 so not a tiny order either, no mention of any of this until they were at the door. Won't be using them again.

Now, I enjoyed this pizza, kind of, It was my own fault for not reading what was on the pizza but when you read 'Tropical' the mind thinks ham and pineapple not Pineapple, peach and banana, I think if i'd expected that I'd have been prepared and enjoyed it more, but I guess that actually not your fault at all! Great pizzas, great price and that 24 inch was perfect for three hungry people!

But my friends who use JustEat regularly informed me that I had just tipped him. I'm all for tips but the fact that I got tricked by him, means that I will not be ordering from this place again.

Order was wrong. I ordered taste of Texas fillet wrap. Got all that then also got an extra fillet burger which I did not order which ended up in the bin which was a waste of food! I also ordered can of tango and got Fanta, delivery took ages and the driver short changed me. When I told him there wasn't enough he told me he didn't have any more change. What bs. 2nd time its happened. Will never order from here again. The has browns were burnt on the outside but not cooked in middle and I didn't even want to chance the chicken fillets so again, more food went to waste. Dont waste your money here. I slammed my door shut in the delivery guys face after he refused to give me the rest of my change. Absolutely disgusting.
