A nice boozer on the edge of town. A warm & friendly welcome in a comfortable pub with well kept ales (Butcombe bitter was the specific reason I attended and it was very very good). Great to see traditional pub games available to play too.

Back Street local with a good selection of cask ale.

Proper old fashioned back street boozer. Ideal for old fashioned boozers like me. Couple of real ales, aways on form and locally made pork pies. Heaven.

Nice pub with great beer (unusual for Wem as I really don't get on with Joules beers served elsewhere!). Friendly people and a quiet, small beer garden.

Great pint, and service. Beer garden had lovely hanging baskets.

The bar was clean and tidy. The barman was very welcoming. Every thing was in place to make one feel comfortable after so long away. Great keep up the good work.

Absolutely brilliant pub, proper locals pub like they all used to be. Landlady is super friendly, very welcoming atmosphere. Beer garden, regular karaoke, open mic nights, good acts, sports on the TV's, darts etc, and the beer is good. What's not to like?!
