The Deli at 80 in Haringey

After reading the reviews wanted to try somewhere new for lunch and I’m so glad I did! Brought a mushroom and goats cheese quiche and a slice of carrot cake and I have to state the quiche was delicious! Very friendly staff too that served me quickly, thank you!

I love this place; the food is delicious, the owner is lovely and engaging, it's dog friendly, and has a comfortable relaxing ambience (and they play some cracking tunes sometimes too) it's small so you have to sometimes wait for a table but worth it.

Had a apricot pastry and it was maybe the best pastry I've had in my life. One was not enough.

Lovely place. Friendly staff and the best sausage roll we've ever had. Well worth a visit.

I asked if the scramble eggs could be same as he does it without yolk - I am following my nutritional values to support my cancer free process- and he was so rude telling me : no way I will lose money. Not waste food, I will lose money. Just saying some values are not in place here.

New breakfast place unlocked. Used to just come in here for sexy cheese or anchovies but the masala chai is the new favourite and and the pastries are lush. Update: the avocado toast is...so good. I have no words.

Lovely little family run Deli with great cakes, pastries, and delicious coffee options. Lovely service, with friendly and welcoming smile! I recommend this venue if you're ever around the area. Way better than many other spots around!

Best sandwich I've had in years

This is a great place and my favourite coffee shop/brunch stop and bakery in one. Weekend brunch tip: At weekends the avocado and eggs on toast is sublime, the eggs are fluffy clouds that have been lovingly muddled ( nothing that smooth has ever been treated to an undignified scramble) and the toast is the perfect crunch - really sets you up for the weekend. Lunches: Don't mess about - have one of the epic sandwiches. Every day is a different handcrafted joy. Cake The patisserie pudding is an occasional eco delight, though nothing tastes worthy in a toasty slice of joy made from leftover pastries...Every mouthful is different and it is GREAT!!! Have it toasted. Chai.... The coffee is great, but for me the chai is where it is at. It is heated in a giant kettle that might as well be a magical cauldron considering how lovely it tastes. It's a top brew. Impulse purchasing - All the goodies are great, buy stuff - you won't regret it. Anyway this is why I love the Deli! Try it you won't regret it

Best ham and cheese croissant ever, freshly prepared and toasted to perfection! The shop sells a wide variety of delicious French, Italian, Spanish and British products and makes great coffee too! The owners are friendly and personable, always a pleasure to visit!

One of my favourite places in the area to drop in for a coffee. The addition of a chef occasionally leads to some epic sandwich experiences. The owner is kind, the food is excellent and the goods are tempting. The Deli is a relaxing and welcoming place

An absolutely fantastic little coffee shop with one of the best coffees I’ve tried in London, especially considering the very reasonable price, and massive flaky croissants. The shop owner is an amazing woman as well! I’m happy I discovered it via TooGoodToGo (the boxes from this place are very generous and good quality). Looking forward to trying their chai tea which smelled so good when I was there!

Just started working in the area and found this Gem! What a lovely reception I got from the lady behind the counter who was busy preparing delicious focaccia, I even got to try some too. Of course, I brought one and a sausage roll too. She even recommended some of the other local places. First Class. Delicious. I will be back :)

This little place is absolutely beautiful and well stocked with so many yummy cheeses pastries and pate’s. If you are a lover of pate. Then the duck pate is a must!!!!! Such wonderful service too.

I enjoy shopping here, (it’s a lot closer than going to the Bread by Bike shop too!)

Finsbury park has some really good delis and cafes. The Deli at 80 is definitely one of them with super fresh produce and tasty baked treats. I had the sausage roll and the rice stuffed pepper yesterday for lunch and it was awesome. Will be going back for sure.

The best croissants and bread within walking distance. Worth walking to.

Chose this venue over Costa to support local business. Looks trendy from the outside. It was very busy but there were a lot of staff yet the service was slow. When the coffee finally came it was a stingy lukewarm portion.

Lovely little Deli where you can buy wine, fresh bread, artisan French cheese and lots of lovely things to eat. They have a few seats outside and a little counter where you can sit on a stool to eat in. Order a Caravan Coffee and eat one of the freshly made sandwiches. Treat yourself to cakes, pastries and savoury bites. You can get discount on coffee etc if you bring your own refill cup. They are a drop off point for Crop Drop and Soleshare (fish boxes). If you like organic, sustainable food, pop in to this delightful deli.

Great spot to buy fresh, quality produce or to sit down and grab a coffee and a cake. For the environmentally conscious it’s a great place to get refillable bottles of olive oil as well!

Great range of produce available but we always go in for the fresh sourdough bread which is the best in Finsbury Park. It is expensive and the staff aren't always that friendly but it's still a great place to get stocked up on goodies you won't find in the supermarket.

They sell bread from 2 different bakeries if you arrive early enough (or reserve some), some nice selection of cheese and plenty of other tasty things. Everyone is also very helpful and friendly!

Lovely relaxed deli with delicious breakfast and sandwiches. The coffee is excellent. Always good service and the food, particularly the cheese, is fantastic quality. If I am in Stroud Green, I make a beeline for the deli at 80!

Really lovely experience; customer service is always polite and cheerful. The food is amazing. My nine year old enjoys having his breakfast here, before school. We're always returning. Give it a try, you'll not be disappointed!

The food that they make here is all very good quality and I was very pleased with it. There is a good variety and it also serves as a shop to get some supplies if needed. The staff were very friendly and there was good service. The drinks were pretty good, but I especially liked the quirkiness in how all our plates and cups were purposefully different. Overall, a very nice café to go to.

Fantastic local deli. Bread sells out early but in the rare case that it lasts until the end of the day, it goes on special offer. Great cheese selection.

The Deli at 80 is one of those places that doesn't necessary have the most outstanding coffee or the most outstanding food or is the most value for your shop, etc. But it's pretty damn good at each of these things and hence the experience of going there and treating yourself is a really, really nice one and worth trying. I stop by about once every week to pick up coffee as well as my favourite pasta.

Today at 20:07 I had an extremely distressing experience today. After ordering my coffee the server told me to go and sit and she’d bring my coffee; great! However she did not. On going back inside and asking for my coffee she pointed to the coffee that she had allowed to go cold on the side. I questioned this and she pretended that she had no clue where I had gone, even though I was sitting outside on the chairs that the coffee shop provides. Very confusing! She was so rude and I felt so uncomfortable and very unwelcome. I have been in there before and she followed me in the loo to check out how I had left it! Bizarre! There is no logic or common sense to their argument or manner. I won’t be going back there again! At their age they really should know better!

This place is more a shop than a coffee place, as there are only a few seats. The apple tart I had was very nice, but the pastries are quite expensive in general. The coffee was ok, but I think there are better places for coffee in the area. The shop offers a lot of healthy food alternatives, which are rather hard to come by in local supermarkets.

£6 for a slice of toast ? Slow gormless service .... A shame as the area needs a good food & drinks place

Great place to pop if for a special lunchtime or afternoon treat. Great selection of top quality deli foods and super friendly and knowledgeable staff make this a top location if you want to grab a bite, stock up for goodies in the larger of buy foodie friends a gift. Definitely worth the visit.

A friendly Stroud Green oasis in the maelstrom of monoculture. A great place to relax with a coffee, a paper and watch the world go by.

Great coffee and incredible selection of artisanal cheeses. The macaroons are delightfully light. They actually sell wine which i recently discovered. A local person bakes the bread and there is an option to be part of a sustainable fish club to have a delivery to pick up from this place. Went to a wine and oyster tasting, great event and run smoothly with informative experts. Thoroughly recommend! I'm glad I live nearby :-)

Went there for the first time recently upon recommendation and I was not disappointed. Quite small area if you want to eat in but friendly, relaxed place with good food.

We called in unplanned to The Deli at 80 on a Sunday for coffee and some light food. We were very lucky as the weather was fantastic and we managed to nab a table outside in the sunshine. Everything looked so fresh so it was difficult to choose! The food was really good and the staff were very accommodating with swapping muesli for granola with fresh fruit and yoghurt. The coffees were mainly really good, but one of our group ordered a soy latte, and unfortunately, the soy milk had curdled at the bottom. The shop also stocked a wide variety of organic and healthy food. Overall, we had a really enjoyed the Deli at 80, and would definitely recommend.

I stumbled upon The Deli at 80 after doing some work in the area. I wasn't sure what to eat but the friendly staff offered lots of suggestions, and it all looked good: locally sourced, ethical food in all varieties. I ended up choosing a steak pie, and a coffee. The drink was strong and very good, and the meat pie (served with a nice salad) was delicious. I sat by the window and enjoyed seeing the deli busy, with lots of local people calling in and some staying to have lunch.I paid quickly and efficiently and felt it was a such a reasonable price for decent food. Would love to come back.

You will not be able to stop sipping on that delicious coffee! The brownie with raspberry is out of this world!

I have visited the deli a couple of times and will be going there soon to hold an informal business meeting. Bridget has an unusual and delicious range of soft drinks and the pastries are delicious! I have also tried one of her wine and cheese tasting evenings which are great fun - you get to meet really nice interesting people!

The coffee honestly was the best I've had in London ( I come from Australia where we take coffee seriously). All the food was really fresh, healthy and delicious - I had a yummy sourdough sandwich. Lovely helpful and friendly staff especially the owner, Bridget, Great value particularly considering how trendy it is. Highly recommended

I have only visited this Deli a couple of times but I have always found the coffee and food delicious. I would recommend Lizzi's granola as this was delicious to have at breakfast. All staff are extremely welcoming and owner Bridget has marketed her deli well. I shall definitely be back.

I love this deli, its tiny but has a good interesting array of produce. Lots of brands I miss from travels in France and great healthy options for my little one. Its not a place to do your weekly shop but is perfect for a few treats for dinner or a delicious latte. The staff are always friendly and caring. I would love them to start doing iced coffees especially in the summer months. They have really good olive oil and wine that you can bring a bottle back and refill.

I came here with my boyfriend Sunday morning. We had a coffee each and a pastry each. It was very trendy and cute and the staff were really nice too! They have Cretan olive oil which I will definitely be purchasing next time we return.. Hopefully soon!
