When I go to a Turkish restaurant, I immediately thought of mixed grill platter and this restaurant definitely top the notch! You can ask for bread and salad to refill as complimentary if you have the stomach to eat all that and the meat platter! The meat was juicy and tender. Not only that, the sauces they come in the bottle were just extraordinary. Spicy sauce was just divine! My wife and I poured more than half of it to our plate. Goes really well with the meat. Overall, great experience. The restaurant has plenty of space and get busy during evening. I was there around 5.30pm with my 15 months infant, we were given a corner area for us and felt really comfortable. Suggest to call in advance to get a table secured! Price may be a bit high but I think with the quality of meat and the condiments that come with it, it’s definitely worth it. The restaurant does a lot of other Turkish dishes to select as well. So you won’t come in with nothing to eat for sure 😄

£17 for a small shish chicken kebab: 5 pieces, a cup of rice and a roasted pepper. In turn we had to get up and fetch the waiter for attention. Hardly speaking English, but this is the least of the problem. Turist trap was as my son dubbed it.

Stunning Turkish restaurant. We had a double birthday celebration at this restaurant. The staff and atmosphere was fantastic, along with everyone singing Happy Birthday and clapping along. The food was amazing, we loved the whole experience. We will definitely be returning.

I can't order a lot of food for delivery because I'm a single person. So, I'm always surprised, because sometimes they are wonderful and sometimes they are crap at delivery. I don't think I'll order anything again and I don't recommend it. And they are not cheap enough to dare to order again. I prefer to venture into an area where I can choose other Turkish restaurants. What a disappointment...and I loved them.

I’ve had to change my original 5-star review due to an awful experience on the night of November 11th, 2024. A group of five of us dined here, and shortly after leaving, every single one of us suffered from severe stomach pains and cramping. Within half an hour, some of us didn’t even make it home in time to reach the toilet. I personally had intense cramps followed by two rounds of diarrhoea. We’re regulars here, but clearly, something was very wrong with the food tonight. Yes, the service was excellent, but that doesn’t change the fact that we all got sick. I can’t in good conscience keep my previous 5-star rating after such a distressing experience. I’ll have to think long and hard before returning. Below is my original review… Fantastic food and the staff are very friendly. Never had a bad meal here. Totally worth a 5 star review

This is hands down my FAVE turkish place to eat. The food is ALWAYS immaculately delicious and fresh. My husband and I love this place (Green Lanes location) because the food is very flavourful. The service is efficient and very professional. Be ready to spend a bit for your meal, but trust me you wont be disappointed.

It’s a halal restaurant, and that’s from a food point of view, but realised after being seated that there is alcohol on the menu. Hence the reduction to 4*. Food/dessert- well cooked and fresh Atmosphere- very very busy. Adds to the atmosphere

Had a fantastic dinner with a friend and both Yusuf and the manager really made our night with their service. We had the chicken shish and adana kebab- very succulent, flavourful and generous portion size. Yusuf and the manager are super friendly and funny, kept us entertained tonight and we will definitely be back just because of their great service!

Good food and service but overpriced. £18-22 for a kebab. No wonder it was almost empty when we went.

My go-to for an authentic Turkish restaurant in Green Lanes. There’s plenty of of Turkish restaurants in Green Lanes but this is the one I always go to. The food’s great, atmosphere is lovely and service always friendly. We got the family platter with large meze for 6 adults and 1 child and still had plenty to take away at the end of the meal. They always provide lots of bread, dip and salad for the table and it’s always a highlight along with the complementary Turkish tea at the end of the meal.

I ate Adana, the cleanliness, service and portions were ideal. But Adana kebab did not have the softness I expected.

Incredible. Huge portions . Super fresh ingredients. Fresh homemade sauces. Hot fresh bread and yogurt served with everything. Delicious salads as well. Authentic Turkish. My favourite Turkish spot In London- the only thing missing is Tantuni.. the small platters are big enough for two people to share .

Great food, Asraful was a super nice server! All the portions were bigger than I expected or came with an extra side. The table also comes with a salad and yoghurt to start.

There are 2 tables in the big shop, we want soup, it comes in 20 minutes, I passed that, we want bread, the bread arrives late, my soup is cold by the time the bread arrives, there are already customers inside, your waiters are doing laylaylom, not caring about the customers is a disgrace.

We asked for soup, it took 20 minutes, the bread arrived 10 minutes later, the soup cooled down while we waited for the bread, and it was not dense, the service was 00000

Always the best heart in green lanes

This is one of better Turkish restaurants I have been to. Parking is ample and free Decor is good however they are busy most times so feels a bit cramped when you sit and feel like it’s too close to other diners. However it’s loud so you can get away with having conversations without being intruded. Service has been good mostly apart from once when I had to wait long despite asking three times for bread basket. Over all from my 5 visits service is pretty efficient. They need to be more warm and friendly as they all come across very functional robotic and well drilled machine. I guess they are their to do a job and they do it very well just a little Smile conversation will help. Food is awesome. Their lamb chops that are of platter are best I have ever had. Ribs very hard fatty and chewy (some may say they are meant to be ) not for me. Wings are seasoned and taste great Rest of platter is ok at best overall I don’t expect any restaurant to nail all the items on platter so won’t say much else. As rest of platter was average (rice barley tikka donor kebab) I don’t mind the price however portion size for £100 platter is bit mean tbh. Especially when 50% of that platter is rice barley and dry cut donor pieces. It’s clearly mentioned in menu what you get from platter quantity wise so may be order different portions Instead of platter next time. Their cold meze is decent. Best among them is aubergines based starter and beetroot coloured started was just out of this world. They offer bread basket salad with the platter I guess so it was enough for five of us. Complimentary tea in the end is always nice touch Overall it was nice experience And I have been to this place about 5 times now so completely would recommend others. And would I go back again and answer is yes I will. WORD OF CAUTION. I treated my friends here once ( we were 15 all together ) they charge service fee for any table of 8 and above. So we were charged that and to be fair on them the lady at front who got us the table made it very clear and transparent before we sat that this will be charged so what choice did we have (none as there were 15 hungry people with me ). However if you are less than 8. Then service charge is optional and you can politely refuse to pay it (I did couple of times when we were 5 and once we were 4 people). They are easy and understand that it’s your legal right to refuse to pay service charges at any restaurant unless mentioned or stated before you sit down and eat. Overall it’s a very decent Turkish restaurant Very authentic recipes and good quality food. Free parking and accessible Would recommend it.

Correcting my previous review, although a few times the service failed like taking ages to get the main food, where ppl who came after us got served first, and tea not delivered or very late and most recently no tea available at all. However, I realised in comparison to other places I’ve been to the quality of food and service and atmosphere just stands out. The staff is always friendly and forthcoming otherwise. You pay for what you get though. Overall, I highly recommend!

Mixed feelings. Prices and size of portions were not as they used to be. It is not anymore the place to go as they have literally doubled the prices without making any positive change in their dishes. Now regarding the service, it was mediocre. I asked several times to bring us bread, bill etc and each time it took them ages to come. Given that we dined out on a quite working day I would have expected the classic, well rated service from Green Lanes but that wasn't the case. Please, make some serious improvements as this was on of our favorite places to eat out.

Fantastic Restaurant, Decor looks really great and relaxing with a dark green colour scheme. Great choice of selections on the menu. The platters are really what its all about for sharing with friends and trying different foods. The menu has many options and it's good for breakfast lunch dinner and anything inbetween. Overall a fantastic place for a meal with friends or family; with friendly staff great service and amazing food!

The quality of Baqlava is very good enough but the behaviour of staff is not always good. I went to this place several times, and one time, I had horrible experiences there!

Amazing service, we came in a few days ago as a group of 4 and were served by this wonderful girl, she didn’t have the same uniform as the other workers so I’m not too sure if she was a waitress or another member of staff but we were so pleased by her service. Her bubbly personality had us all enjoying our time not to mention having our drinks topped up before we even had to ask. Starters and mains arrived at perfect times she was on top of making sure of that too. Amazing service and amazing food thank you to chefs. Will be back soon.

Fastest service, to quality food and proportionate prices too. Don't get fooled by the menu prices, they may seem a bit higher than your average Turkish restaurant but it's fully justified by the amount and quality of food they bring on the side, speed of service and quality of the meals. Highly recommended
