Had a pretty decent night with my son watching United lose to Spurs in the Europa League final. Oh well, you can’t have everything!

Called in for a drink before a ahow at the Bridgewater Hall. Sat outside ( work going on but this didn't affect our visit) Plenty of places to sit both inside and out. Sunny and warm Friday night.

Nice, older style pub. Good bar staff, nice vibe.

Really nice pub, food is great and excellent value for money. Rooftop area looks nice for warmer days/nights.

Went here with my Granddad and we both loved the service, food and interior. The food was really tasty and perfectly portioned. The only negative was the food cost a tad more than I would have liked, however it did go down well!

Loved my time in The Deansgate. We had a lovely server called Evie who was really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back again soon.

Sadly, the worst two dishes we had in Manchester. Both the flat iron steak and the fish and chips were severely underseasoned.. if at all and both were over cooked. Really disappointing. Don't waste your money on this spot.

I was here for the first and thought of trying the basics like fish & chips . For my bad luck the fish was under cooked. I paid £18 for a fish which was under cooked 😅

Good variety of beer. Fish and chips was pretty good. Only complaint would be that the toilet was at top floor and end of the evening unmaintained.

Venue Hire I hire out the top two floors of The Deansgate for a St. Patrick's Day Party every year, and the team are always fantastic! They're exceptionally accommodating and supportive when it comes to events, and are so understanding with any minor tweaks or amends to the day. Alice, the assistant manager, was incredible - from the lead up to the event, to support on the night, her and her team were bill. Food was delicious, beers were cold and the vibe was perfect. Thanks!

The staff are super friendly and know their stuff, I go every Sunday night for the Sunday Service Comedy Night and it's always a good night, a bit silly, but definitely enjoyable.

Would recommend this place had a really good time and amazing service from Mike, he made our evening most enjoyable

We got there around 7:20pm for a reservation, went to order and we were told the restaurant was completely out of burgers (which was the main reason we went). After trying to order again, we were told they were also out of all sandwiches and some of the mains. Leaving us with a very limited selection (Mac&cheese, steak or pie). We also ordered drinks with a guy on the till and had to ask for them again after standing at the bar 15 mins as we were not being served. During the pub quiz (which was fun!), around 8:20-30pm, we tried to order a sticky toffee pudding as dessert and were told the kitchen was closed, and hence it was once again not available. Overall, the food tasted ok but we were quite disappointed with the experience. Pub quiz was fun though.

Just popped in initially for a drink at lunchtime.We were served by Michael. Ordered some sticky chicken and hummus to share. Food came quickly and was tasty enough. Would recommend.

Recently visited the Deansgate pub on a trip out to Manchester and was pleasantly surprised. Food was lovely and a great selection of beer. Special mention to Michael who could not have been more welcoming and made the experience better, will definitely be returning.

Came in with a couple of mates and was served by the wonderful Sian at the bar. Excellent service and great knowledge of the local area, would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a spot to drink in deansgate.

I had an amazing experience at this pub! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive (especially ruthanne) making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food and drinks were top-notch, with a great selection to choose from. Great pub a few mins from Deansgate station, great beers , food , and excellent bar staff, live sport too, great atmosphere..

Yesterday evening a lovely lady called Sian served me, she made my experience very pleasant and I felt as though the service was great! Very polite staff and quick. Considering I was having a bad day this pub turned my day around. Thank you to all the staff and Sian.

The Staff & food are wonderful. The BEST thing was "Sunday Service" comedy open mic! On the top floor, I had the most fantastic time, It's a cosy, welcoming environment. One minute we're strangers downstairs (ground & first floors), the next thing you know we're all friends enjoying hilarious comedians. They say "laughter is the best medicine" so this is the place to go if you need a fix... I mean that in a good way. Thank you for being there.

We go to the Deansgate regularly for drinks and food when in town. The staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Siân, she is a credit to the company and always goes above and beyond to accommodate every customer and their needs. Very much recommend if in Deansgate area.

Had the Fish and Chips, Batter was soggy, not crispy like it should be on a fish, service was good shame about the food

After a long morning of travelling from Belgium to The UK all i wanted was a fish and chips for a lunch. And lucky for me i stumbeled upon the deansgate! Love the vibe here and the food was super delicious and the staff was friendly as well.

Popped in for a quick pint, it was busy but bar staff were so slow. We didn't eat, although the food we saw looked quite nice.

Listed on the Greene King Sports App as one of the pubs you can go to watch sports/earn points/get a free drink. However refused to give us the apps offers because it "isn't a sports bar" whilst we sat and watched sports on the big TVs.

Stopped off for a pint. The choice of beers wasn't epic and the prices seemed at the high end. But it was lively but we got seats and the staff were good. I had the winter ale was it Truman's? That was pretty good everyone else had the insipid euro lager ...Perroni I think

Good little pub, newly refurbished. Friendly service and reasonable food. Pub is 200yrs old.

Nice looking place with a climate and rich selection of alcohol. However the burgers were way too well done, burnt really. Fries were good though.

Turned away an hour before close… update Google if you really want to close at 23:00.

Different rooms on 3 different floors give the place a friendly atmosphere. The bar staff are always very polite and professional, food is the usual pub grub fare but it's a place where if you don't like one part then you can just move to another area of the pub.

We had a really enjoyable experience here on a trip to Manchester. The team were very welcoming and we were served our food quickly. Lovely pub grub. Great atmosphere and queer friendly too! We spoke to the manager for a while, I think her name was Tara. She looked after us very well. Can’t wait to come again on our next visit!

Lack of Boddingtons. Do not come if you want Boddingtons. Otherwise nice round tables and perfectly fine. Great wall colour and posters on the first floor.

First of all they give a warm welcome and the restaurant looks amazing. The fries are crunchy and the steak is delicious. One flavour explosion gives a great taste. I will definitly recommend this place if you want to have a great night for a good price

Didn't have food but will do next time clean pub an toilets an areas whiped down after customers left friendly staff bit busy so had to have a stool seat which was a bit back breaking after a pint! Alcohol free cider nice a bit sweet but OK got a sat down more comfy seat when others left - roof garden busy so came back down stairs - used to come to pub when I was about 20 an have lunch after work or at dinner time working at securicor good memories of pub still some traditional seating an tables an decorated accordingly friendly staff busy little pub
