Over priced smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Bagel was stale! Next time will make my own or go down to brick lane for a proper one! Not worth the money

Lovely spot tucked away in quiet London. Delicious fresh prepped meals and excellent service. A find. For non-egg based options, highly recommend the rose harissa couscous salad.

Have been here several times and always delicious food with quality ingredients, albeit a bit expensive. But my friend and I bought a Scotch Egg and was it very undercooked (pink as can be seen in pic) so could not be eaten. Didn’t have time to take them back, but something to bear in mind for future batches!

Their welcome is lovely, local, caring, warm. My mother goes there daily and has her coffee outing. Everyone is very kind. The food is great, simple and delicious. Would rather have their Thai green curry as a “take away” any day. Bread and bakery great too.

The deli serves nice food and salads what I mostly buy is their bread which is great. What they fail miserably on is customer service and it is getting worse. On numerous occasions I have joined one of the two queues as I get to the front the member of staff turns away and continues to do some house keeping or in the instance today just turned away and started chatting to one of the 5 members of staff behind the counter. So I waited for the other lady on the second till but she just turned around and started making a coffee for herself not a customer. In the end I had to ask the two staff members who were having a friendly chat if I could pay for the bread to which I received a very frosty look and surly service. Come on guys you work in a service industry the customer shouldn't have to ask to give you their money.

I have lived in the neighbourhood for 3 years and have popped into the de Beauvoir deli numerous times. It is a super cute shop with great outside seating for a relaxed breakfast when the sun’s out. There is no doubt it’s pricey but some of the food is delicious. I love the cakes, sandwiches and scotch eggs. However, I find the salad selection is terrible. The salads look nice, vibrant and fresh so I’ve been tempted numerous times but I’ve never enjoyed them. Today I had a pasta salad with hard, raw zucchini, a bean salad composed of hard, flourey beans and a terribly seasoned lentil salad. I’ll be coming back but sticking to coffees and breakfast items.

I live nearby so go here every other week. It can be great sometimes , the sandwiches and sausage rolls are excellent. Service can be very stern at times. After 4 the selection is very weak. A pain au chocolate to take away is £2.50 and was very stale / old. It’s a very expensive place and some items command the price however I would honestly say the 70p version from a supermarket was far superior. Still nice for a coffee and sandwich as very little choice nearby.

One of my favourite food places in London! The De Beauvoir Deli helped put this part of London on the map. It has a great selection of bread, pastries, meats, cheese and condiments and their hampers provide excellent value and a well thought gift for the right occasion. My only criticism would be the pastry section has sometimes run out by the time I get there, but that's just as indication of how popular this place is to the locals.

London has a plethora of places to 'eat'. Not near any of my local haunts I thought I would just try this place for a quick bite to eat and coffee. All I can say is I would highly recommend that the owners put themselves on a customer service course. Abrupt, rude and arrogant are words that would best describe them.I simply regret going here. I left my items and did not even muster up the courage to complain as I knew I would be met with an aggressive tone.To compound the issue the food was very average - bit like paying the price of Dom Perignon for a bottle of Prosecco.Save your money for owners that actually care about their customers.

Work often finds me crawling down muddy roads in Africa and one thought keeps me calm: I'm not more than a week away from the perfect cappuccino and a generous pain au chocolate from De B Deli. Elegant, witty and delicious, this shop is the only place I know where I know I can routinely find nettles, wild garlic, Iberian ham and gelatine, served by a team that could pack the Roundhouse on their days off. Magical.

I can live with not being served cut salami because the cutter is cleaned 10 minutes before closing time, but the arrogant attitude astonished me as a regular customer:- they did not want to accept card payment for 3 £ despite the facts that it wasn't my fault i did not reach the limit of 5 £ and the nearest atm is, well, not very near.- a bit perplex by the aggressive tone ("it's not my fault you don't have any cash!") i turned away to put my bread back and leave the store which was apparently enough to earn hands thrown up in the air and rolling eyes. This is the first time ever in my life to have been treated like this.Stay away from that place. The salami and products are ok, but there are better and cheaper delis in a nearby radius (which I did not frequent because this one was so conveniently next door) I for my part will never again set my foot in there.Uhm yeah and the coffee they serve is sh**

I only visit the Deli to buy food for takeaway so can't really say much about the service. I must admit the prices are pretty high but then there's also a tesco down the road if someone is after less expensive meals. For the price I always got high quality meals (sandwiches and salads) and drinks (juices, lemonades etc.). I live across the road and visit it on a weekly basis so can strongly recommend.

A year ago , I would have gave 3 or 4 stars. But unfortunately de Beauvoir standards are dropping. Their prices are very high and in many cases their food just doesn't stack up. One of the main problems is that too much of their own prepared food is way too salty, and I don't mean salted peanuts salty I mean half a pack of salt salty. Everything from bread to pasties are like this.Made the mistake of having a pizza from their restaurant over the road. Same problem expensive and too much salt.

The food is nice but hugely overpriced and the service is incredibly slow. The prices are clearly taking advantage of the fact that it is a fairly wealthy area and there is no competition, I get that, but it wouldn't hurt to plough some of their profits into staff training. Five of them will stand around dithering while one makes a coffee or saunters through to deliver a sandwich to a table without having the wit to clear tables on the way back. (Isn't the first rule of waitressing never to enter or leave the kitchen empty handed?). It's not that difficult to get right and some basic training would sort things out.
