Great pub atmosphere, but kitchen staff kept on increasing the time of food arrival, food was not the best, currys were quite bland and layer's of butter on the naan breads and were cold, absolutely saturated with butter,

Very friendly place. However, stating that they're serving Jamaican food is really just chicken seasoned with jerk and far too hot!

Food was as good as I'd been told 👌

We ordered an Indian meal from the attached takeaway. The food was excellent. Hubby enjoyed the beer.

Nice quiet drink but only open 3-4 hours

Pretty quiet and a few locals in. Drinks OK. Food however tasted warmed yup and very bland. Didn't rate it at all and we were all ill the next day. Don't bother.

I've been a customer of the Dartmouth Arms for the last 10 years. They've always been extremely friendly and helpful. It's the go to place when I want a quiet drink.

Hidden little gem , looks and feels like an old working man’s club , don’t be fooled !, All the staff are friendly and the locals to . The food is probably up there with one of the best Indian curries I’ve ever had , tasty , full of flavour , variety, and great value. I’m glad to have stumbled upon this traditional English boozer with a big hint of eastern spice 👍🏻

Great environment, as an immigrant in the UK sometimes it's hard to find a place where you don't feel like a total outsider but here I was always well accepted by the local community plus the beer is cheaper than in other places and you can also have Indian food. They have bingo and karaoke nights as well.

I like it here but its a proper local used by locals. Everyone really friendly very clean and good deals on the alcohol. Havent tried the food though yet

Love this pub! A proper local, I call it the Winchester to my mates as it's a proper pub. They have a TV for the footy and a bandit, with a decent pool table. The smoking area is the best I've seen in the UK, tiled, covered and every time I've been out there I've had a good natter with the fellow smokers. Good people, good crowd!

5th August 2016 SORRY THIS IS THE WRONG DARTMOUTH ARMS - WE WENT TO BURNHILL GREEN My husband and I were very fortunate to win a free meal at the Dartmouth Arms from a raffle ticket purchased at the Christchurch infant school's garden party. This was the first time we had been there and were very impressed. The service was excellent, friendly staff who were very attentive giving time between courses as required. We had a 3 course meal, both choosing Sea Bass fillets as a main course and must say that the whole meal was exceptional. We will certainly recommend this to all our friends and will definitely make a return visit. Thank you to all at the Dartmouth Arms for a lovely evening.
