My first reaction was the bag seems lighter today. After opening the large curry goat with rice and peas was bit of a surprise, portion was smaller on this occasion and new packaging was used. The food did not seem freshly cooked on this occasion, Taste was ok though. Fried dumpling was nice.

Probably the best Caribbean takeaway in Wolverhampton. Or even the West Midlands. It's authentic - it tastes how it's supposed to taste and it's amazing both in terms of quality and quantity. Deliveries are hard to present well (especially breakfasts), but they do a fantastic job every time. Thank you.

Ordered at 3pm. delivered after 4:10 pm. One item hard to chew therefore thrown away. food cold due/not being kept hot whilst driver assigned. smal portion of chicken and too much rice to fill out tray.

Used mammees for the first time today. My usual choice bellfoots was out of stew steak. Usual delivery time about 45 mins. Yeh food was really nice and good prices too.

mammees food generally comes very hot and tasty 😋 but ordered the mutton main meal and found it a bit salty and only warm I had to microwave it.

Duran & his lovely staff catered for our wedding 29th June 2024 and the food was exceptional, staff were so friendly, so professional and overall made our wedding a day for everyone to remember as they are still talking about how amazing the food was. We had Curried Mutton, Jerk Chicken, Hake, Rice & Peas, Plain Rice, Steamed Veg, Salad, Coleslaw & Fried Dumplings. We also had Carrot Cake and Spiced fruit Cake and everything was just so delicious 😋 Mammees is now our regular take away, we would never go anywhere else now just superb food, good sized portions too.

The food was excellent and arrived hot. The drink, however, was not included, and there was nowhere i could go to get a refund on it, as it was an additional payment to one of the meals. Not good as problem with drinks in my previous order.

Food was bangin! Hit the spot customer service 5* didn't have too wait too long for my food which is shocking as other Caribbean places I've had to wait ages for my food! Compliments to the chef will defo go again!!!!

After already raising the issue of "it's not wise to put non vegetarian products in a dish which lists that it contains no meat", I see one slice of hotdog has been snuck into my food under the beans. Also they are consistently out of stock of most things, and will replace items of your order at random, as they did today with the dessert. It's just not worth going here if this is how they operate, and how they treat customers. I highly suggest going to a real Caribbean restaurant instead of here.

Very bad place with staff who have attitude issues, and they don't have basic respect for their customers. They will avoid respecting any dietary requirements you may have, and they consistently put meat and fish products in vegetarian dishes, consistently give you different items to what you ordered. I don't think I've ever seen them have the second half of their small vegetarian menu available to order. Really feels like a place that has lost all care for food and life itself. Boycotting from now on as it's been too much, too many times. Just today I see they snuck hotdogs under the beans in my vegetarian breakfast, after knowing I'm vegetarian and ordering here multiple times, and letting them know after they put fish fingers in the same vegetarian breakfast a previous time! I know, I know, it's supposed to be unheard of to be this mentally deficient in food preparation these days, but evidently "Mammee's" are trying to prove the contrary to the world. Never again. Btw their Mac and cheese is rubbery and plastic and tasteless, their vegetables in their curry are total mush, the cakes you order for dessert if not prepacked store bought ones, are left without toppings as it's stuck all over the box the cake comes in. Their coleslaw is just white water with shredded tiny carrot and cabbage, and is utterly tasteless, even with the heavy hand of pepper. Their dumplings are rock solid and will break your teeth. Just some advice for people unlucky enough to go here before seeing this review of truth. Looking for Soul food? Unfortunately only R Sole food is sold here...

Order one chicken meal and one fish meal turned up with two fish meal phoned up and basically moaning about delivering the right order saying it’s too far. Ridiculous first time ordering and order completely wrong

Ordered a chicken curry for my partner, received some kind of red meat dish instead and a different drink to what was ordered. They never have all their vegetarian dishes available either. Shame because the food is quite nice, but some serious management and rework is needed here

Very nice food. Ordered oxtail with rice and peas, and curry goat either rice and peas. Portion sizes are great, but that is way too much money. £9.50 for a large. Way too much rice, you could share the rice. I would recommend a smaller container and reduce price to £8 for a large. I would also recommend longer cooking on oxtail. I initially got a tester, but felt uneasy not then buying it after tasting. Great taste! Just doesn’t fall off the bone. But not everyone likes it like that
