Red Lion Wednesfield in Wolverhampton

First time eating, at the Red Lion and I can honestly say that this has been the best service iv had in a very long time. The team were extremely busy but seem to handle all very well. Speacial mention to Adam, A+ customer service.

Paige and Abbie are amazing and two of the best bartenders.

Good varied menu and food was very tasty and nicely presented. Lady who served us was really lovely and very friendly and treated us like we were regulars when it was our first time. Will definitely return.

Awful, went as a group for a birthday ,midweek was told there was a delay with the food which was fine , after half hour or more the food started to arrive, people who ordered the same came out together then another wait, then some more until we were waiting on the last two, we had to go back to the bar to chase up as the people who started first had already finished and was told they were waiting on the curry sauce, which when arrive looked like it was scrapped out of a nappy, not an experience my partner and I are looking to repeat, a member of staff was called in from home at some point to sort things which was appreciated but if we were kept informed properly most of us would have left hungry but still with a better experience than we had.

Went on Tuesday night booked a table for 5 people awful experience had about 5 staff on but all of them looked like they hadn't got a clue. Stood at bar for about 5mins 3 people walked past us and didn't serve us. Ordered food at 7pm while ordering the chef came out and said have you told them there's a wait I said that's fine she joked "YOU MIGHT GET IT FIR BREAKFAST!" she wasn't wrong at 8.20 still hadn't got food so went to the bar and cancelled it and went to chip shop. The pub wasn't even busy there was a table of about 12 eating behind us but that's the only food I saw them bring out. There were dirty tables and glasses everywhere god help you next Saturday when reggee boys are on that's all I can say

Went for an 80's themed bottomless brunch on Saturday 6/4/24, I have been to a few bottomless brunches and this 1 is by far the best I have ever been to, the staff are amazing, friendly, welcoming and were making sure we were never needing a drink through the whole brunch. And the food was really tasty, noone had a complaint about any of the food we recieved. We even stayed for the live band on the evening? The atmosphere is just lovely in there, we go when we can usually but will be making more of an effort to go a bit more regular. We can't wait for the summer brunches they have in store 😍 Thank you for having us 🥰

Came for my sisters 18th she works here her names Leah. Staff were nice food was amazing drinks were good, able to watch the football from the table we was seated at. All round really nice experience.

Didn't have any food hence not given it 5 star

Decided to visit for a bite to eat 5pm subday me the wife 2 kids and my daughters friend. Not too busy we sat across 2 tables so we were comfortable. Ordered mains and desserts good food Service was great very attentive indeed. I used to be a very regular before getting married and the lion was my go to 5-7 times a week lol. Good to see some old faces too Daughters enjoyed the karaoke too well done all.

Came to the Lion on Wednesday evening, what a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Chose the steaks, very tender and cooked to perfection!! Credit to the chef as all meals were delicious. Would highly recommend.

This Pub had really great food cooked by Mike and Mollie, and there was great service from them both!! Mollie is also a very good chef who cooked some very lovely food for us! And we will definitely be returning!!

Recently visited, great little pub with little touches of humour dotted about the place, great food at reasonable prices. We didn't get to enjoy the beer garden as it was raining but it looks like a great area to sit and relax in the warmer weather. Pool & darts, sports TV inside and out, live entertainment advertised. We'll definitely be returning.

A very nice pub. Impressive first visit with the sun out. A massive beer garden with plenty of tables. You get table service from ordering via the app. Which was fast and friendly. Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger meal, which came out within 15 mins and was very good. You could tell it was freshly made. The pints of Stella went down a treat. So a pub worth coming back to that has a friendly atmosphere and decent service.

Had the pleasure of visiting this pub on Saturday for a baby gender reveal party. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub had a really nice atmosphere the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We also had a wheelchair guest in our group and I must say the accessible toilet and the ladies toilets were cleaned to a very high standard. We will be returning shortly for another visit.

Was at the Red Lion on Saturday 13th May for a baby reveal and then had food afterwards. The staff were really friendly and the food that I had was the chicken wings with BBQ sauce was absolutely delish. They never disappoint. Thanks Red Lion.
