We were well looked after by Ross and had a very enjoyable evening with family

Fantastic food nice and hot lovely atmosphere. We visit regularly.

Average to below average. Nothing to get excited about. Boring food. Basic menu. Not a place I would choose for an evening out, family gathering or a “can’t be bothered to cook” option. Live 500m away, and still only go maybe once a year, usually as a last option or in the distant hope that things may have improved. In 13 years, it never has. But they are consistent. Consistently below par. Better places a short drive away, or just pop over the road to Pep’s o the Chinese, much better, cheaper and you actually feel like there is some skill behind the food.

Excellent pub near Tettenhall in Wolverhampton. Comfortable and clean inside with a large outdoor seating area. Staff are friendly and efficient. There's separate seated areas for dining or if you're just having drinks, with some nice chilled corner spots that I like to sit in when I visit.

It has been a few years since my last visit, glad to say it has improved in all areas in my opinion. Decent service, good food not expensive. Good bar area and range of drinks. Staff were helpful apart from when we were waiting to get the bill, but we weren't rushed. Can't complain.

Jamie greeted us with a friendly smile and so did the young girl whose name I did not catch. The service was good and prompt and not over bearing. I know that venues get busy and run out of certain meals, however as a suggestion at the time of booking it would help the caterers if you could have a option of expressing a food item preference, in this instance the Sunday roast. We opted instead for the beef lasagne, however it was cooked well but lacked any flavour. Portion sizes seemed a little stark as not enough bread for the pate, one slice is not enough. I hope that this review is more help than a critique as unless you are aware things will not change. I was certainly not put off and would definitely return again in the future. My sister was so touched by the lovely Birthday card from the Management which was a nice surprise and much appreciated.

Lovely prompt, friendly and helpful service from Jamie at the Oddfellows, Compton this evening and great meal.

Visited this place whilst on holiday from Ireland. The sirloin steak and chips were delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. The only negative was that there were no onions with the steak, which, for me, is always a must l. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this establishment and will be visiting again soon. Excellent value for money also. Well done, everyone, and big shout out to the bubbly and festive lady greeting us on our arrival and showing us to our table.

Great service from Jamie. Went to eat on my own to kill some time whilst my child was at footy training. He put me in a nice quiet part of the restaurant at my request and was attentive throughout. Thank you 👍

Kind staff who will do anything for you, I had a delicious watermelon salad with toasted pumpkin seeds and the most amazing dressing-very unusual, I find the chef thinks of some really interesting/unusual ingredient combinations it’s really carefully thought through. Wonderful 😃will be back.

Very busy Friday evening, struggled to find a parking space, but my reserved table was ready. Quite a queue at the bar to order but staff were quick and friendly. Food was brought out quickly considering how busy it was and was very tasty. Was quite loud in there but it was packed to the rafters!

Hadn't been in for ages, thought we would give it a try, average food average prices, the drinks were quite expensive around £9.45 for a large rose wine and £6.30ish for a estrella, more than better pups in the area

Very expensive veggie meals and vegan salad was literally salad and watermelon,£15!!!!!!!!! Not even vegan cheese!!!!! Staff were lovely.

Been a long time since my last visit drinks overly price after 7 but still good like them to match my local after 7 at 4.25 per pint

I tried the kebabs, my missus the curry, both were excellent. You can have one kebab for £15 with the option of a second for £4. Have two, it's well worth it. The kebabs comprise peppers, chicken, onion and chorizo on a naan bread. They are delicious. To wash it down I had the Brakspear Oxford Gold, three in fact. It wasn’t a cheap night out but you get what you pay for. We’re going again. GCR.

Very easy to book on line. Helpful reminder emails. Nice table for 6. No fuss made when only 5 of us could come. Very pleasant staff. Used a 30 percent off voucher and was pleasantly surprised that there was a Friday night discount on the Prosecco. Nice evening out for a bunch of ladies. Our vegetarian friends enjoyed their meal. We were asked straight away when we arrived if we still required gluten free meal. All good. Left a 10 percent tip.

Ross welcomed us as we entered. Throughout our visit he made us feel welcome and even came over to tell us what it is not available on the menu. Overall great service and for sure will be back again in future. Lovely food. I had the cheese and bacon burger which was nice and juicy. Just cooked perfect. Liv also served us our food and we have specific requirements as we are fussy however this was not a problem

Average food, overpriced, and nothing special .

Came here last night 22/07/2024 for my Nans birthday family meal. The staff here are fantastic, the food was excellent (especially the Hunters Chicken), nice warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely return 👍🏻

The welcome by staff was warm and friendly. Due to the weather, start of the school holidays and the time of day the place was very busy and, understandably, some of the menu items were not available. The waitress was very apologetic, took our order promptly and checked on allergies. The food when it arrived was very good. The cauliflower cheese was a little watery but the rest was great. Service was very good. Will recommend to family and friends

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. There were a lot of people having meals but we were here just for a couple of drinks to catch up for some friends and their family, so we managed to squeeze in. The only slight negative was the condition of the smaller toilets near to the toddlers play area, as they were rather fragrant (the others were spotless though)

Went for afternoon lunch food took long to come out. My starter was burnt, meal was dry, however the staff were very pleasent and said there was one chef on.

I enjoyed visiting this pub with a friend. Good service, and a clean environment. I just didn't enjoy my meal as it was burned. I would usually let them know, but it was towards the end of food service, so didn't bother. My friend enjoyed their meal though. It didn't put me off totally, and would come again.

Lovely 6oz steak, chips and tomatoes. Cooked to perfection and very tender meat. Reasonably priced too. Staff are always friendly and polite. The WiFi is excellent too.

Very quiet as football was on but service was excellent. Service was quick but didn't feel rushed. One minor mistake with a meal that was quickly rectified.

Hunters chicken The chicken was burnt and so tough that it was impossible to eat it came with a few chips and green leaves. Not worth the money.

Very friendly and efficient staff, from the waitress staff to the chef and manager. Made our Xmas and family meal very enjoyable and the food was great. Been using this pub for many years but can honestly say the last 12 months as been exceptional on all our visits. Love the atmosphere and staff always have a smile. This is a great pub if you want a lunch or evening meal. Me my family and my friends love using the odd fellows pub.

Friendly greeting when we entered and shown to our table. Menus given to us and drinks order taken. 2 pints of excellent Banks's bitter and bottle of white wine for the ladies. Food delivered promptly. My last two visits to Oddfellows and Bell at Tong I ordered the superd ha. hocks, so this time I fancied a change. I ordered a beefburgers. That was my only very small let down I would have preferred one 6oz burger not 2 3oz ones as they were over cooked and not much h juice or flavour. However the other 3 people with me were very happy with their food so we had an enjoyable lunch. I always find the staff very polite and efficient.

A large chain pub. Okay if you like that sort of thing. If not the Swan over the road is a real black country pub with cobs and pork pies.

A very expensive Sunday lunch for the quality of food. Meats were sandwich meat quality & roasted veg was undercooked. Server was enthusiastic but couldn’t get drinks order correct. Unfortunately would not recommend or return.

Great place to stop after a long walk on the staffs and worcs railway path. Good beer and grub for under £20 (3 course lunch menu). Free WiFi, comfy chairs, and decent background music.

The service from the staff was exceptional, however the food was cold , yorkshire puddings tasted like cardboard and the parsnips were hard, portion sizes were fine The place was clean and it is a lovely pub nice for a sunny bank holiday weekend as well

Great pub with ample parking, the staff were all very friendly (thanks to Sam and Charlotte in particular). The pub seems to get quite busy but the front of house staff still found time to give recommendations and indulge in general chit chat. Genuinely lovely atmosphere, definitely recommended.

I have been in the oddfellows three times this week, twice for a meal with work colleagues and friends and once for a drink with son and family, great service each time

Ross’ service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble and he’s a huge credit to the Oddfellows. We always return because of him! ☺️

Waited 5 minutes to be seated only to be told that you were understaffed, there was a 45 minute wait for food, and quite a few things were missing from the menu. Found somewhere else to eat instead.
