What an amazing setting for a restaurant. Beautiful!! Staff were so professional, kind and helpful. Prices are amazing for such a high quality of food and drinks. Would like to Thank Olly for such a great experience while visiting workplace. He knew so much about the history of the building and was willing to answer any questions. Stunning atmosphere and decor is to die for! Friendly but professional staff with high standards. Went for my partners birthday meal. Perfect for the steak lover! A few options of fish and one chicken main for anyone else. We ordered starters, mains, sides. Everything was presented beautifully. The service and ambience is exactly what i was looking for, Leeds lacks places with hospitality as high as here imo. Next time we’ll be back for drinks. The bar looks lovely and the ladies toilets are unreal for the perfect photo ops!!

Cannot give any stars due to being denied entry Sunday lunchtime. My son in law has a leg injury and had a knee brace on so had to wear a smart pair of jogging bottoms and the waiter said no entry due to dress code which is not mentioned online or in the reception. Absolutely disgusting policy as it is not a fine dining restaurant and it was not an evening. Will not be visiting again and will spend our money on a more hospitable restaurant.

Lovely venue, great service. Very friendly and good vibe. Food is good, although less choice than year or two year ago and starters not such good value. Steaks as good as always. Upstairs, now it's lighter at night, doesn't have the same intimate feel, so if wanting a romantic meal, perhaps ask for downstairs table (but not in the front section). Specials, bar one, were fish. Miss the slow cooked meat dishes and where's the French onion soup ;)

Such a stunning place, I have never been to such a posh looking restaurant and felt very lucky to have experienced it with my partner. The food was cooked to perfection, and the waiting staff were very professional as well as friendly. We will definitely visit again but it is more for special occasions as it is expensive.

My husband and I visited the Leeds venue for the first time. The staff were professional, friendly, and confident in the overall service they provided and we had a really enjoyable experience, if only visiting for a drink. The restaurant is beautiful - the decor, layout, the meals and drinks other customers were enjoying. I approached a member of staff about the visit, he introduced himself as David, a new General Manager, and he offered to show me around the restaurant. He showed me the circular area of the restaurant and the upstairs area, where there was more seating and a really well presented champagne bar. He explained the history of the Titanic and association, along with the decor and pictures on the wall, it was really interesting! My husband also had a look round and thought of similar views.

We always like to try different places to eat & on this occasion it was the turn of Cut and Craft. So pleased we made this choice! The food was excellent and such good value for money (we chose the set menu as the choices we wanted were all on there), so £27 for a 3 course meal was a win-win for us! The staff were extremely attentive without being overbearing, and they all seemed to be happy in their work. The interior decor is stunning - even the toilets were deserving of a photo 😂. Will definitely eat at Cut and Craft again, even if it's one of your other locations. Thank you!

Quality of food and service was excellent. A little pricey for some items. £19 for 3 scallops which were about an inch wide but tasted nice. Reason I gave 4 stars was because we were refused the kids menu and had to order sides from the main menu as we came in after 4:30pm (no kids after this time). Didn't see this on their website when we booked.

A really nice restaurant serving delicious food. I did think looking at the menu, I might be served small portions, but I was wrong. More than enough and super tasty! I had the burger, someone I was with had the fish & chips. We loved the cabbage in tahini sauce. Only 2 things to say are that it was too dark. We had to use the torches on our mobile phones to read the menu. The music was also a little bit too "boom boom". Aside from that, I would absolutely go back.

It was ok wouldn't rush back. Had Sunday lunch beef was fatty and tough, came out of the kitchen with 5 minutes of sitting down which really spoiled the experience. Champagne flat probably to do with the glasses unfortunately.

We celebrated here after our wedding. The manager was lovely and kindly arranged a nice table and a gift on arrival. All staff treated us like royalty. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and the perfect setting for a celebration. The food is top quality and we will not hesitate to visit again or recommend to a friend. Went for my sons 22nd birthday got shown to the bar has was waiting on 2 more family members to arrive really good service at the bar and at the table food was amazing £350 well worth it car'nt wait to go again just disappointed about the birthday card they said he would get and didn't and thought it was nice been asked if I wanted to pay the service charge which I did has the staff was fantastic looking forward to returning

Wow!! We attend on (2 adults/2 children aged 7 and 4) on Sunday for my partners birthday. From the moment we stepped in we were blown away! He has been wanting to come for a while now and wow I am so glad I booked it for his birthday. The gorgeous smell as you arrive, the amazing decor, lovely staff. The food was out of this world (we were undecided between the Sunday dinner and steak but opted for steak) and the drinks were equally as stunning! One child had steak the other had pasta - both got a pudding and they loved it! Our bill came to £200 (kids had 2 courses, we had steak each and shared a pudding, he had 2 cocktails and I had 3) so I think very good value. There was a live singing who was AMAZING also! We were so lucky that they had a singer on. We got sat on a booth that was perfect for us having the kids with us right next to the singer! My partner was greeted with a birthday card on arrival. The venue is so classy! We can’t wait to return and haven’t stopped talking about the meal since we left! I’ve not eaten something so good for such a long time. Highly highly recommend!!!

We were really looking forward to spending time at C&C,I pre booked a table for drinks, table was not ready on arrival, shown to the bar area. ordered drinks, 15 minutes later, I had to ask if our table was ready. still had to wait, while they checked if the table was ready, then finally 5 minutes later ( 20 minutes after arriving) we finally sat down with our drinks. it is a good job we were not having a meal, we would have run out of time in our time slot!!!! so very disappointed for our first venture to Cut & Craft. Amazing place though.

We came here as a special treat to celebrate my daughter’s 18th Birthday, she had never been before & absolutely LOVED it! The decor & ambience are gorgeous, glamorous & sophisticated but not stuffy and the food was delicious… a bit expensive (especially the steaks with a tomato, nothing else!) but really lovely for a special occasion - we were served by Sarah who was very friendly & helpful and brought my daughter a surprise dessert with a candle which was a nice touch and appreciated. It’s often the little touches that stay with you…

Went here for a birthday treat from my better half. Oh my god. Seriously impressed. Service, atmosphere and the food was impeccable. You can be assured the chefs know what they’re doing in this place. Had me a succulent juicy sirloin (medium rare obviously) a selection of sides and some pork belly to start. The steak was cooked to perfection. Not chewy at all. The peppercorn sauce was incredible also. Not the cheapest place I’ll admit but didn’t feel like we had our pants pulled down as everything was 100%. The waiting staff were highly knowledgeable and efficient, we had a server called Sarah who tended to our every need. She knew about the wine and made recommendations which were spot on, she was sociable and looked after us well. Courses arrived quickly and well presented. First time here and was very impressed. Even the loo’s were a visual spectacle. Will be back again.

I recently visited the Cut and Craft and had a very disappointing experience. Rebecca provided really bad service. She was rude, inattentive, and made the whole visit unpleasant. I hope you address this issue to ensure better service in the future.

Enjoyed a birthday evening here. Good service. Nice food. We all had steaks which were cooked as requested. I would say slightly overpriced.

Possibly the best restaurant in Leeds

We went Saturday the 29th for an early Mothers Day meal. The staff were super lovely and the place is visually stunning. Everything was great until the steak I had ordered well done , no blood arrived I cut into it and yes blood juices ran out . The steak was pink and red when I cut into it. I have an aversion to blood so I couldn't eat it and felt a bit ill. We didn't have another hour to wait to send it back so my son swapped meals with me. The servers asked if I enjoyed my meal and I explained about it and my disappointment as we book nearly a month in advance. They were super lovely and removed it from the bill which I greatly appreciated they were so nice. Unfortunately none of us would book again as other places we've been have never served us a meal we didn't enjoy and didn't take an hour to get to us. Many thanks to all staff for your lovely smiles and kindness.

Updated after a new visit. Booked 7.15 yesterday and waited 45minutes for our table. Annoyingly we were sat at the bar and could see the table we were eventually sat at available for the vast majority of the time. Food was, as always incredible so we didn't grumble with the 12.5% tip however an complimentary drink would have went a long way as a apology for the delay. When we were sat down the waitress was great and service was good. From the moment we walked in the staff were fantastic. Food and drink was excellent

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The Sunday Roast sharing plater is incredible, definitely up there with one of the best roasts I've ever eaten. Considering the quality, quantity and restaurant setting, it's also great value. My only feedback would be; turn the base on the music down a little bit, it was a little bit extra for lunch time dining on Mothers Day. We also had to wait a bit too long to be offered a drink, however this can be forgiven on a busy day like Mothering Sunday. I would just make it a priority to get a drink in front of people, as its not so bad waiting to be served when you've got a cold beer. We'll definitely be back!

We were warmly welcomed into a beautifully decorated, classy, and inviting restaurant. The Truffle Potato Croquettes were outstanding rich with the deep flavor of truffle and filled with perfectly melted cheese an easy 10/10. Our server Serena was lovely friendly and incredibly attentive. We can’t wait to return!

The second time we have been and probably the last went for Sunday lunch ordered mixed meat plater for sharing beef was fab so was pork all trimming great but we had half cooked chicken and I mean half cooked I did make our server aware of this the most dangerous thing to have undercooked

Excellent afternoon, service, food and venue all excellent. Astonishing to read people complaining about a dress code, if you think it's acceptable to go out for something to eat in joggers and a baseball hat- this probably isn't the venue for you and you should stick to spoons or maccys.

Mid Wednesday afternoon Birthday treat. Reasonably busy with other late lunchers. Good menu offerings, good level of service without being over the top.

Went with two friends for lunch. Beautiful building and design inside. Staff excellent, very professional and pleasant. Had the table for four hours which was brilliant. Sharing platter for Sunday Roast was very good. Meat was plentiful and everything was very tasty. However, for me it wasn’t hot enough. I like my food HOT, not lukewarm warm! I like my plates hot too! The entertainment was also loud. We were seated on a large round table and really struggled to have a conversation. Again, wine is extortionate as in most places. I think we had the cheapest bottle at £27!!! I have had much better from Lidl. I don’t mind paying in a restaurant but I wish they would stop ripping us off. It doesn’t happen abroad so why here? Overall it was a pleasant afternoon. Would I go again? The jury is out atm!

Absolutely brilliant service from Rebecca on Saturday 8th March. I called up to clarify the DJ and table service after 10 on a Saturday, Rebecca was so friendly and helpful, it was really easy to speak to her. When my friend and I arrived we were warmly greeted by Rebecca at the front door and we were so well looked after from there onwards. The classy vibes, the DJ and the gentleman on the drums really added so much to the ambience. Free champagne for International Women’s day was such a lovely gesture! Although I am vegetarian and have never thought to eat here due to it being predominantly a steakhouse, from looking at the menu there are plenty of options available for me and I have already booked to come back next Saturday! Thanks again Rebecca!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, I was greeted with the upmost incredible hosting, the food was absolutely delicious and came at a speedy pace. The drinks were lovely and we were constantly being topped up and attended too, a certain individual ( Cameron ) made our experience even better with his ability to go the extra mile for us and other customers ! Would come here again 100% recommend.

Great place to dine out, first time going in April 2024 (pics) they had a larger vegan menu which 1/2 of us require and the burger and harissa hummus was delicious but been again since turn of 2025 and was disappointed by the trimmed down alternatives. Flat iron steak - a repeat order was delicious and cocktails were nice. Good mix of lively and ambient at same time inside. Overall nice food and drinks but taking price into consideration too there are other places out there in Leeds that do better of both respectively. Service has been mixed first time was attentive but more recent (no pics) had to collar them a few times. Would return but better vegan/plant based options elsewhere for half our party

Very good food and best steak I’ve had.. only reason for a 4 star is because they removed the Japanese spiced curly fries which was my go-to side. Frustrating when restaurants remove great options.

Dined here last night for my birthday and had a lovely night. PRO- service, drinks and food were great-very much worth the price. The martini board was so worth the money! The steak and mac n cheese were so flavorful. The food came quick and our servers Sarah and Abdullah really made it an evening to remember. We even got a complementary ice cream❤️ CON-our table was booked for 9:15 (kitchen closes at 10) but we were left waiting at the bar for 25 mins which was abit annoying since the night just started. In addition to that the music was abit too loud, we found ourselves yelling to speak to the person next to us which gradually made the evening tiring. Overall 9/10 experience would definitely come here again!

Went in January. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The food was disappointing, aside from the scallops they were excellent, sides for the price were average and the Chateaubriand was disappointing was overcooked and not seasoned properly. Wouldn’t return again.

First visit here and wow absolutely loved it. This place is a cut above from greeting us to ordering the food outstanding service. The food was delicious my husbands flat iron stake was in his words the best stake he has ever eaten. The decor is beautiful and the extras for valentines were stunning from the rose heart to the roses on the bannisters absolutely perfect. We got a keepsake Polaroid picture which was special. Will 💯 be back our nee favourite restaurant in leeds ❤️

Why go to ALL that effort to prepare open fire grilled steak when you're going to dish out catering (Brakes) pre-prepared steak sauce; Bearnaise/Peppercorn etc.. What an awful way to ruin a nicely cooked, £85 Chateaubriand. I'd be embarrassed. Overall, a decent meal.

We went on a Monday lunchtime for my husbands 50th birthday we were surprised at how busy it was. The food was beautiful The service was excellent Highly recommend

This was our 3rd visit in 7 weeks. Previous 2 times food and service were brilliant. Like our previous visit we ordered the steak to share at £85. We ordered it medium rare. The steak came medium well done. As we were very hungry and didn’t want to fuss we ate the meal. The steak was a bit burnt on the outside and dry and we didn’t enjoy it. We also didn’t get all the drinks we ordered. When the bill came which included drinks we had ordered but not received we told our server we would settle but wouldn’t pay the service charge because of the wrongly cooked steak and missing drinks. We were surprised we no one came to discuss our poor steak when the restaurant is a steak specialist.

visited Cut and Craft leeds last night for my husbands birthday. It is such a beautiful building and so full of elegance and glamour. We sat at the bar which is so striking and an experience in itself. We had some incredible cocktails and watched in awe as they were made - i would recommend the yuzu centric it was fabulous! As it was a celebration we were given a booth near the Dj booth with the wonderful view of the restaurant! Later on the DJ even had someone playing the bongos along side the music which we loved and really created a great atmosphere! The food was 10/10. We could not fault a thing, I had the flat iron steak, herb salad and skin on fries with peppercorn sauce … wow the steak was melt in the mouth and soooo tasty and the herb salad was gorgeous! Chips were crunchy and well seasoned and the peppercorn sauce was creamy and hot! My husband had the sirlion which was to die for … a lovely crunch charcoal flavour on the outside and cooked to perfection. You can tell they source the best beef and cook it amazingly well. He also had the homemade chips and onion rings which he loved and the sticky toffee pudding was a real treat. The service and manner from every bar tender/ server/ manager was so nice and we felt really special. We would recommend this as the best place for food, ambience and service in leeds for sure and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you to all the chefs and serving staff for such a wonderful experience!

What a fabulous place service was excellent from going in to leaving the Sunday lunch was outstanding everything cooked how I liked it , it’s on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and what you get is excellent. Luke couldn’t do enough for us he was a fabulous waiter a credit to the company.

1 star docked for steak price which is high, and comes with nothing so all extra. The lunch menu is good value but only a rump steak on that. Had a fillet and was exceptional meat so almost worth the price charged. I know my steak, and it was damn good.

Absolutley loved our anniversary meal to the Cut and Craft. The food was exceptional, the best steak I've ever had. Cooked to perfection. The cocktails were amazing, and I loved the theatrics of the Yorkshire paradise one! The desserts were also very special. The building is beautiful and the service was top notch. My only slight criticism is the music was a bit thumping and didn't really match the vibe. A quieter, calmer music wouldve been better.

I made a booking to the restaurant, arrived and the receptionist advised she would go get the table ready. Upon return and retrieving menus she asked for my partner to remove his hat to be able to enter the restaurant. No where does it state when booking about dress code etc. Whether someone is wearing a hat it doesn't mean they are a criminal and that is how she made him feel.

We visited to celebrate mine and my friend’s birthdays. It was our first time here. Although described as a Steakhouse, it also serves an excellent choice of Vegetarian food, so much so I was spoiled for choice. A lot of our party had the Flat Iron Steak, all agreed it was superb. All of the starters were brilliant, flavoursome and beautiful. We all agreed that our event was made special by the great team serving. Special thanks to our waitress Carissa who looked after us exceptionally well. The building is magnificent and we all agreed it was a brilliant Birthday meal. We can’t wait to return and bring some other family and friends.

Lovely looking restaurant, excellent service and lots of room in the booths which we liked. I felt the food was very expensive for what it was. Oysters and starters were very good. The steak was nice but not amazing. The prices soon add up when you realise you have to add on fries and sauces separately. Desserts were disappointing.

A Cut above the rest for Brunch? Sadly not. Although the service was very attentive and the venue is rather fabulous, unfortunately the Brunch was not that impressive. I wanted to see cocktails recommended with brunch. Not just the standard drinks menu. I wanted a kid’s brunch menu, not just their generic lunch/dinner kids menu. I ordered some scrambled eggs off menu for the toddler in the end. And I definitely make better eggs than the overcooked ones that he was served with an unbuttered slice of sourdough toast. I had the steak and eggs which came with your standard “out of a frozen packet” hash browns. Give me something a bit more special, how about a potato rösti or even just a home made hash brown if I’m paying that much for it? The orange juice clearly being just a standard from concentrate juice was the final thing that made this brunch pretty average.

This was my first time ever at Cut & Craft and I am so glad I made the visit … this place is a gem, such a great place , from attentive staff (big shout out to Muhammed who looked after our table and he was such a pleasure to meet) the food was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time …. And the ambience was vibrant and relaxing at the same time … the general manager Cameron ensured our overall experience was one that was really exceptional and nowadays that’s a rarity … I’ll certainly return to Leeds and visit then one in York with my family , thank you Cut & Craft Leeds , çok güzel 👍🏼x

Absolutely superb service and meal.

The service was excellent. On the whole, the food was a good standard. I had the Sole. Luckily, I stopped it being covered in accompanying spicy sauce, which would have spoilt this delicate tasting fish. Call me old-fashioned, but light butter lemon sauce with capers would have been perfect! I will go back again.

Fabulous place! Food was amazing and the service was great. It's our new favourite and we will absolutely return. & The ladies bathroom was stunning. Definitely jealous and I want the same one 🤣

Outstanding place we are lucky to have to have such an amazing place in our city. I can't get over the beautiful building and how nice it is that it has been so beautifully restored. Came at lunch time today, the service was brilliant! Very attentive and professional yet friendly staff. The lady on the door with brown hair hosting who showed us to our table was super friendly. The food is amazing- I knew this place is good as I've heard a lot of good things about it from a few people. But it exceeded my expectations. The younger staff on the door on the way out seemed to be chatting amongst themselves and I didn't get a bye but that is me being ridiculously picky. Thankyou and can't wait to come back!

My company booked a table for our annual Christmas Dinner and the service and atmosphere were amazing. As you would expect around Christmas time it was very busy but the staff was so polite and could not do enough for us. Drinks were served promptly and everyone in our large group got their starters, mains and desserts at the same time which isn't always the case when going with a big group! The venue itself is beautiful and well worth a visit! Would highly recommend!

The most amazing night for our staff to celebrate Christmas together. Every single detail was thought about and prepared down to the tiniest detail. Dave was our bar point of call all night and he didn’t fail to disappoint!! Amazing guy and outstanding client experience Thank you Cut & Craft Team

A lot of reviews have praised the atmosphere, but it was really thumping music - felt I was in a night club. Ordered steak, very average, bit chewy. Girlfriend ordered vegan was very dry and chewy and couldn’t eat it. Rest of meal average. Would not go again.

After querying when our table would be ready we eventually got taken to our seats. Where we waited another 15 minutes for a drink order, and another 20 to order food. We had been in the venue over an hour before we ordered food. Once ordered we proceeded to sit and wait more for the food to arrive. Everyone around us received their food, despite arriving well over 40 minutes after us. After asking once again where our food was as we had now been in the venue over an hour an a half, it suddenly turned up. One of us was then missing a meat from the trio of meats. Otherwise we cannot fault the food, it was delicious. While eating the presumable manager came over to apologise, she said she would be back to sort this once we’ve finished. We then waited easily another 20-30 minutes for the plates to be taken once finished whilst multiple staff members walked past and saw us. The lady who had previously said she’d be back saw us finished and blatantly ignored us multiple times. Clearly avoiding giving any sort of compensation for the horrific service. Then to top it off they have the nerve to charge £20 service charge! Real shame as we had been looking forward to this special birthday treat, shocking service don’t waste your money.

What a fantastic experience today at Cut & Craft Leeds. We opted for the Sunday lunch share for 2. Wow!! The food was delicious & cooked to perfection and enough to feed 4 people. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Cut and Craft in Leeds, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish. The food was the real highlight. Every course was absolutely exceptional. Overall, The Cut and Craft exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of the food, the impeccable service, and the inviting atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Leeds, whether for a special occasion or a casual night out. I’ll definitely be returning.

Unfortunately I had oysters and got food poisoning

Table was booked for 9:15 rang and explained would be running a couple of mins late due to a taxi issue. They explained over the phone it was fine and they'd push it back slightly and that if we were to arrive earlier we could be seated on arrival. When arriving (we ended up being earlier than original time ) we were sat in the bar area where we then had to wait 40 mins not only This after being seated no one came to take a drinks order for around 10 mins. Whilst we watched other bookings being seated before us that were arriving after us and believe that there bookings were for 9:30/9:45 after speaking to one of them in the bathroom. Food was okay however have had better from the York one asked for steak medium rare and it ended up being medium. The truffle fries were okay but they were over done. I've ate at the York venue and everything was beyond expectations so l was a little disappointed at our experience especially when it was our anniversary and that wasn't even acknowledged even though it was noted on the booking. When finally asking for the bill. Our bill came out and we had an additional £100 worth of food and drinks on our bill which our server did end up taking off but if this was not checked we'd of been paying a bill that wasn't ours and the bill should of been checked before being given to us.

The food was average. Nothing wrong with it but I think for that price you’d expect something nicer. Waited quite long time for our drinks but I only had a non alcoholic drink so can’t comment on drinks too much. However atmosphere and the decor was absolutely amazing! So very mixed feelings in overall.

Food brilliant, but let down by service and adding a *lot* of drinks to our bill that were not ours. Since this happening, I’ve also come across friends who said this happened to them here too. Worth being critical of your bill, especially if you’re in larger groups.

Delicious food, ambience is great, one should definitely try this!!!

Food was amazing, staff were extremely kind and great atmosphere! Only thing I was dissatisfied with was the Mac n cheese - lacked flavour, but braised beef was lush <3

Been to cut and craft on a number occasions in Leeds and you just can’t beat it! The service is always exceptional! I went for a Christmas decorating class and the host Charlotte was honestly so nice! I will definitely be returning to do another workshop! The breakfast you get with this is also amazing didn’t realise they did a brunch menu till now!

If enjoy a Sunday roast then you will not find better for close to this price! I've often spent more and still been left hungry afterwards, gaucho for example is similar in price but your given a 3rd of the food, unless you pay £38 PP for unlimited which this platter wouldn't leave you wanting more anyways, definitely not skimping on the meat either and filling you with cheaper items. The qaulity and taste has been amazing all 3 times and I've not waited longer than 10 mins to recieve my food each time! Staff are polite and friendly, quite impressed how efficient they are with it always being so busy. Best I've found and eat out alot.

Fantastic experience staff so helpful couldn’t do enough !!! Food fantastic and cocktails were great also the restaurant and toilets so clean and tidy which company does the cleaning as I would like to get them in to clean my offices. Thanks Ian
