Excellent well equipped venue for music and performances. The only draw back is that it's a little small. Run by lovely knowledgeable people.

Lovely bar and cosy music venue. Great view of the stage from throughout the auditorium. Hosts are friendly as are the staff. Drinks are very well priced and the draught beers all local. Shere Drop Bitter was outstanding. Had a great night. Thanks CryerArts Centre

Really good venue and a nice atmosphere to go with it. Somewhere for the more mature people can go with no hassle.

Allways friendly staff and superb service

Came on Father’s Day no roast dinner Also they sprayed fly spray which was not very good as there where people eating and smelled the place out as well. Normally very good service and food however disappointed there was no roast dinner

My husband and I made an unscheduled stop here for dinner. The staff were really cheerful and the service friendly. Hubby ordered a burger and I had ribs. Both were excellent, my only regret was being too full to try the puddings. Will definitely be going back and am delighted to support a local business

Love this local venue. Another superb night. Food was great and the band were excellent. Not sold out but should have been as The Croupiers were brilliant.

Top notch community theatre with a range of shows on offer. Also a great bar with excellent beer and a wide range of other drinks... Including mead! Which is always a plus in my book.

Love Glamstar but didn't like the set up of seats

At the Cryer for a tribute concert to Barbara Strieslland. Great singer and live band. Very pleasant show. Thus intimate performance space never fails to deliver. Downstairs bar buzzing.

Booked a table here as we were going to a restaurant across the road, was pleasantly surprised at what a lovely place, staff were friendly, drinks were reasonably priced too. Loved the mismatched furniture, we went back over after we had eaten to finish the evening with a nightcap. There wasn’t a show on but the bar was consistently busy. We will be back

What a fabulous night out with friends, listening to the great music of Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty. The bar was buzzing before and after, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. A place I highly recommend and I can’t wait to visit again soon.

Visited here a couple of times now , once for panto last Christmas and again last week to see Complete Madness . Had a great time , for different reasons . Went to the bar before and the food and drink were excellent , although I'd not heard of the lagers they had on tap , were really good . I now know that they have loads of tribute acts here and will be back in the future. Quite a small venue , but that's a good thing , in my opinion. Highly recommend a night out here if you live locally ( or not )

A very good small theater. There is a nice bar on the ground floor, too. Also, in the summer, there are music events in the marquee at the rear. The only problem might be limited parking in the area. (Beware of roads nearby that are resident only zones - check the signs).

I went for lunch here with some friends today as the waitress was extremely rude and unfriendly towards us because we had buggies, which were not in anyone’s way or blocking a fire exit.

What an excellent venue. Went to the Madness tribute and the place was buzzing. Great drinks selection and thank you to Corey who was very friendly and professional at the bar. We will be going back. We didn’t eat but the food looked very appetising. All in all a good night had by all.

Brilliant evening, as always. Saw Band of Friends, music to remember by Rory Gallagher. Two of his band still playing 👌

Gem of a place in Carshalton High Street

I booked my whole family to see Robin Hood and they all arrived on Sunday . I realised I had booked Saturday. Can you imagine the disappointment😪. The guys at the theatre were amazing and got us into the later show🤗. I couldn't thank them enough. The panto was so good😁.Definitely going next year, on the right day!🎄😍🎅

Went to a show here last night and popped into the Spotlight bar for the first time - it was great! A few good real ales and an interesting selection of other beers on tap and, according to some of our group who ate there, the food was really good too!

Lovely Sunday experience. Great roasts, good value for money and efficient service. So nice to have options like this in the village.

Fantastic show but lost a star for the food. Ordered salmon Caesar with AVOCADO and ANCHOVIES. £12.50. Very disappointing. Just a load of lettuce, a few flakes of salmon, a couple of blobs of guacamole and not an anchovy in sight. When queried we were told anchovy was in the dressing?? Not clear on the menu. Still Elvis more than made up for it.

Food for lunch was OK. Not the best, but not terrible. Lunch got busy quickly and a really nice setting. Not seen a production here yet.

What a hidden gem. Went to see a Spandau Ballet Tribute Act, Spandau Too. Fantastic tribute act. They deserve more recognition. If you like the original group, pop along and watch these, we'll worth it.

Great local venue with pub below. Excellent comedy night every couple of months highly recommended

Brilliant venue. Its old but sweet and functional. Had fab time all very well organised. Tickets were cheap for a night out. Ate in bar nothing special ... burger & chips but ok for price just like most pub food. Would def book again. Great evening!

Friendly staff, nice food and decent pint

Fabulous local bar and theatre. Music and plays galore to suit every taste. I attended a gig by the Small Fakers, a tribute band, who were excellent and I had a great night. Long may it thrive and do well. I will certainly be a regular.
