We love this pub. Staff are great prices amazing. Customers are all ages and friendly and happy. For us a big thumbs up if you want a real local happy vibe night.

Wouldn’t even give them 1 star. My little sister was assaulted in this pub by a member off staff! I went to pick her up and the woman grabbed her by the neck resulting in my sister coming out crying to me. I called the police to which resulted in me getting barred for calling police as they would have got in trouble as there was never a licensed staff member on the premises. They called her to come when informed police were coming. They then barred my sister despite the fact she was the one assaulted and kept the staff working there. Watch out for a miss kelly good serving your drinks you may be wrongfully assaulted.

This is a fantastic pub, I go regularly, the staff are always so welcoming and polite and the customer's who drink in this pub are a great bunch, what can I say about claire who runs the pub well she loves to have a laugh and joke with her customer's and is very welcoming to new customers who walk through the door, the pub has several t.vs which show all the sport whether it be football tennis or horse racing and anything in between this is the pub to go to have a drink and laugh or watch the footy

This is my local when I visit family in Sutton. Usually once a year from Canada. I've had many memorable nights there with 3 of my brother in laws & friends. Cheers 🍺🥂🥃

A lovely friendly neighbourhood pub at the bottom of Sutton High Street. Very reasonably priced drinks and a great atmosphere. Dedicated to Sutton United Football Club but other fans welcome (or no affiliation at all). My first ever visit to Sutton and really felt welcome by customers and staff alike

We only had drinks, we sat outside as the day was nice and inside it's a typical English pub, dark & gloomy. The Lady serving was friendly and helpful.

Good staff, good selection at good prices. Friendly locals. One of the better Stonegate pubs. But I cannot vouch for evenings or weekends.

UPDATE: Back again yesterday, some 6 months after my last visit. Same review all over again. One of the best pubs for away football supporters that I have visited. Excellent pub for away supporters on match day. Free pint, yes, FREE PINT, if you're happy to wear your colours as we did yesterday!! Clare was very friendly, Beer and atmosphere great! Highly recommended.

love this place ,our local even though ive moved,staff freindly ,owners brilliant very welcoming good free jukebox play what you like when requested ,go round with food sometimes ,good selection off drinks reasonable not over priced ,nice little beer garden now ,been refurbished looks lovely in there now, new update ,used to recommend and love this pub been going there for years met several publicans ,landlady's landlords all been great, exept for the new owners,landlady's partner who gets extremely drunk and offensive, picks and chooses who he likes and dislikes ,very unapropriate behaviour ,considering his not actually named as one of the publicans ,very unapproachable as to his drunken behaviour wether his going to be reasonable,

We happened to come across this gem of a pub on a visit to the area. The moment we entered both the staff and customers were very welcoming. The price of drinks was excellent, for two pints we were charged less than £5 and my husband who likes his real ales had a lovely pint of Ghostship. We might return to Sutton just to visit The Crown again.

It's one of those pubs that attracts all the scumbags when it's busy. But when it's quiet it's alright.

Brilliant Brilliant! I was a bit oiled up when I arrived here & I was allowed to buy 1 more pint & fair play to the governor , he told his staff to refuse me any more alcohol!! I was with a few mates, & had to drink f@@@@ Coca-Cola Thanks governor you are doing your job as it is meant to be done, you protected me from my silly self!!! THANK YOU again x God bless

I live in Toronto, Canada & visit at least once a year. The Crown has been my overseas local for years, simply due to the friendly staff & good company. 5 stars!!

Cracking place. Great staff and management who give off a nice friendly vibe. TV shows all the sports. Live music and karaoke during some evenings as well.

Having been brought up in Sutton and then moved away I had never visited The Crown. Back in Sutton for a flying visit this week and popped in, WOW really cheap drinks and the bar staff and locals all very friendly, even got our dog a bowl of water. We sat outside and watched the world go by, also entertain by a few cars clipping the kerb as they came round the corner ! Will definitely be visiting again on our next trip to Sutton.

Never been to this pub before last night, can honestly say I had the best night here since a long time. Really cheap alcohol, decent staff and friendly punters and this is from the view of the way I dress, no trouble from anyone, chatted to loads of people, the karaoke was awesome, decent sound system. Looking forward to coming again soon

Old style pub. Great for sports fans, both SKY & BT plus racing channels. Beers and lagers cheaper than Wetherspoons. No food but plenty of restaurant's in close proximity. Attracts an 'older' clientele but all local characters.

I popped in here after an afternoon of shopping. I am so glad I did. A charming pub with lovely staff. Very competitive prices. A great selection of drink. A nice garden and even a juke box. I am looking forward to returning to listen to some live music.

Very old Manish, the decor is nasty, the beer selection is poor not quite Carling or Fosters but not far off. Had football on which would have been great if there was sound and not a terrible Leonard Cohen song at full blast.

If your a regular here you're ok I drank in this pub for 30 years. I went in tonight was introduced to the new manager he just ignored me. Aaron was great but when he finished the girl who took over was far from friendly and served people who came in after me. I certainly won't recommend this pub to anyone who is not a regular.

Since the refurbishment of this little gem in Sutton it's a breath of fresh air can watch a selection of sports and play darts 🎯 Heather and John are brilliant landlords along with their awesome team behind them. We really enjoying coming in now

A truly awful nasty little pub with a clientele to match - best avoided.

If anyone has been in the pub recently, they will see old decor, soon to be refurbished, but extremely clean. There is a nice atmosphere , sparkling glasses and good beer.They are very welcoming, even women on there own, are now giving it a go. Give it another go if you haven`t been there for a while. It is under new management, and hopefully will go from strength to strength. They are even starting a darts team, so any players should pop in.

The staff are friendly but it's a really poor space. There are so many pubs on the high street that it's really not worth it. The internet is also only free for two hours if you sign in with Twitter.

Honestly, just don't bother. Unless of course you like the smell of stale beer, fags and disappointment. The locals hanging around outside the front door do their level best to give everyone walking past lung cancer.
