We came to The Slug and Lettuce to celebrate our mum’s birthday, and it was fantastic! Rob, our server, made the bottomless brunch experience seamless and fun—our glasses were always full, and the food was spot on. Great vibes, delicious cocktails, and amazing service. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

The drinks and food were amazing. The ambience was like a cherry on top. The customer service was excellent. I visited with bunch of my friends and got served by Rob and Alex. They were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely come back to the place and recommend to my friends as well.

Went in for a late lunch on a weekday, not busy but friendly staff. Quick service and food was pretty tasty. Would recommend the chicken sharer.

The place was very clean and had a nice Halloween vibe. Food was very nicely presented and filling with lots of taste. I was served by Rob and Chelsea and they where over the top. My table was always clean and maintained and they constantly checked on me if I'm alright. We will definitely come back, as you should too, reader .

Avoid. I never write reviews, but the poor service and miserable staff were beyond awful. I read positive reviews online, so I thought this would be a good option for our family of four. Gosh, was I wrong. Our first greeting was, kids need to be out by 8pm...this was at 6.45pm. Bar man was the worst. So rude. Zero customer service. Save yourself the heartache at Sutton - Slug and Lettuce on a Tuesday night. Awful.

Great bar service - especially guy with face tattoos and cheesy quiche. Recommend the flamingo bingo - the drag act was really good and great prizes! Bottomless brunch - food was good - standard pub grub. Generous with the bottomless booze. Bouncer was a bit unnecessary rude though.

Went to Flamingo Bingo, which was an absolute laugh, all staff including Monroe and Chelsea were absolutely amazing as always, they are always friendly and welcoming, which makes us always enjoy coming here. Would recommend this venue and event.

Working from the Set Menu, using a voucher through Red Letter Days, I chose a 2-course meal for 2 and a drink option for my 75th birthday celebration with my wife. We both chose the Smothered Chicken from the mains with skin-on fries and garden peas. The chicken was excellent, the fries were excellent which in this day and age is saying something but the peas were barely warm. For dessert, I thought we ordered brownie bites, but received cheesecake bites. Nevertheless they were really nice accompanied by salted caramel sauce. Because of my age and diet restrictions, we ate rather early in the day so there was very little in the way of atmosphere in such a vast arena.

the staff inside is great however security is terrible. ive been going here for about a year now, almost every weekend, always wearing whatever i want and i decided to go to the bar after work with a few friends and we werent allowed in because i was wearing tracksuit bottoms and my friend was wearing normal shorts but because they were nike, they didnt allow him in. i think its stupid because i saw them let people in after that were wearing practically same thing as us. i understand if it is a dress code but atleast make it fair and make it a constant rule and not just a one time rule. i asked to speak to the manager and the security came up to me saying hes the manager, i explained to him that ive always been let in wearing tracksuits etc. he told me to leave and told me he “doesnt make the rules”. very disappointed

Came here for drinks with my friend on one of our nights in during our stay in Sutton, and what a lovely spot!! The atmosphere is beautiful and tidy. The staff were friendly and energetic! And not to mention the drinks are amazing!! We got the 2-4-1 drink specials and they did not disappoint!! Definitely worth giving a go!
