It’s an airport restaurant but fantastic service and stomachable prices with super friendly service

they didnt give me any utensils, and when i asked for a fork and knife, they hit me over my hands and told me to use them

I was treated like a dog was having a meal walked out to get painkillers for a few minutes not knowing the rules of the airport ,the stuff called security ripped my things and threw my little bag at me to get out just because I was African .shame what happened to dialog after I bought food there.very sad I was left speechless

Food terrible. Coffee even more terrible! Save your money.

Quite disappointing. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast: the egg was cold and without salt, the toast completely soggy. The coffee was fine, however.

Queues and told to order from table. Got table and downloaded the app only to be told No ordering from table available. Solo traveler so could not both hold a table and be at the bar ordering!

Queued for at least 10 minutes, waiting for the barmaid to pour 3 orange juices. When I finally got to the front, I was told someone else would serve me and she shuffled off at her signature glacial pace. No one came to serve me. Instead, someone decided to start serving at the other end of the bar, ignoring anyone who had been waiting patiently. Also, we were told to remove our bag from the large shelf going along the outside of the seating area. Apparently large table-like structures are not for putting things on. Remember, you must squeeze your bags between the closely huddled tables and hope that a little kiddie doesn’t trip over it and smash their head in.

Large Wetherspoons in terminal 5 departures. I came in about 5: 30 am before taking an early flight so it was pretty quiet which must have helped in that my order made via the Q code on my table came really speedily. I had the vegan set cooked breakfast which was pretty decent & tea. Drinks are unlimited , help yourself. Staff very pleasant. Over priced but then so are all the other food outlets & at that early hour not all of them are open.

The feeling of coming here at 3am and ordering a bacon butty and hot chocolate (a questionable combination, I know) I felt absolutely amazing, refreshed, and certainly full. The bacon butty was quite basic, though it does not need to be more than bread and bacon, as to be expected. Amazing service through the app and they make the food very quickly. Easily the best food in the airport. I am impressed.

I waited 30-45 to get my food. The self-serve coffee is a bit annoying because it requires you to leave your stuff or bring it with you just to get a refill. The food was ok. It would be good for a quick bite if it were quick.

Found a table straightaway, ordered through the app (which is so good) and breakfast was immense! Beer with breakfast is the best start to any holiday as we set off to California, LAX

Was super super happy to find a spoons at terminal 5 , the place had a 10 minute order policy which made it extremely convenient and service was fast , delivering a classic spoons dish + drinks with the same quality as you'd find elsewhere at any other spoons , brilliant to see a spoons at an airport, brilliant alternative to an over £5 meal deal that airports typically have

Ordered. A simply fish and chips, how hard can it be! 50 minutes later, still no food. A very kind waitress helped me out and finally my meal arrived.

Ordering with the web site doesn't work. Showing server error. You have to order at the bar. Very slow. Disappointed.

Not the usual 2 minute delivery of drinks like other Wetherspoons (took 12 mins), HOWEVER this is an extremely busy restaurant and we were not in a hurry so did not bother us. Had a Mediterranean salad with chicken which was pretty tasty. Pleasant place to sit and spend some time whilst waiting for your flight

It's wetherspoons. Usually very good but, alas, no jacket potatoes.

The staff are all friendly and the cask is always in good nick, with a better selection that most pubs in London. It's in Heathrow airport so you're never exactly going to be ecstatic that you're here but it's nicer than the Club lounge. Pro tip: there's a "quiet" corner adjacent to the coffee machines where you're likely to find fewer children or large groups of under-sunnned #ladsontour. Minus one star for the ropes between each till, corralling the customer into queuing in file at a pub, which has never been acceptable and never will be.

Bon hôtel, personnel accueillant. Comme dans tous les hôtels, les horaires de la piscine pour les enfants ne sont pas top, toujours en milieu de matinée ou d'après midi.

L'appli est très mal faite. J'ai commandé une salade que je n'ai pas pu manger car la liste des ingrédients est erronée. La personne qui desservait les tables s'en est rendu compte et a fait en sorte que le manager me rembourse... Ce qui est déjà bien.

Meilleur rapport qualité-prix pour un aéroport. Très agréablement surpris par ce restaurant qui sert de la bonne nourriture pour un aéroport et à des prix très corrects! Merci et continuez comme ça 😉

Remarquable fish and chips. Excellent abott ale. Good traditional breakfast, very good coffee. À bit more of actual pub food would be apreciated. The burger curse is spreading, why would I want to eat everything in a bun? Seriously... Recommended

Everybody loves a spoons before a flight. But this has to be the best airport spoons experience I have ever had. Clean, speedy, super sweet staff, just lovely. And we might have just been lucky with timings, but absolutely NO yobbos! Actually a nice crowd!!! So all in all, best 7am pint I've ever had for breakfast. Btw... The 4*s on the food is compared to other spoons obviously. I love you guys, but ain't no spoons food 4*s

It's an airport wetherspoon's. Food is OK, prices are a bit high but not stupid, staff are as friendly as they can be while rushing around like mad

I went to the counter to order a veggie fry up with an extra sausage. It was quite nice until I bit into a pork sausage. I asked them to change it and they initially denied it was pork, and then eventually said it was my fault for not specifying veggie sausage with the veggie fry up. You’d think that would be obvious 😡

The app at the airport doesnt work, it shows error message that the payment didnt go through. However, I was still charged money later by my bank for food I didnt even get at the end. Be careful and only make 1 order at the time, just in case...

Basic airport restaurant at Heathrow that serves the usual british pub meals. The restaurant looks amazing with plenty of seating and a terminal end location. As with other Wetherspoons, you order online before food is delivered so it takes the customisation away from what you get from a colleage. The food is ok but it fails where we have allergies or intolerances such as when you go get the coffee from the machine, there's no oat or soy milks apart from those in sachets. Service from the colleagues is good however the pricing and the food is below par.

We've all been a hungry traveller at some time and today I find myself at Heathrow terminal 5 departures looking for something to eat. I'm not scared to spend money, but I hate being ripped off, so I pass on the £16 burgers offered by most of the vendors. HOWEVER, I stumbled upon The Crown Rivers and couldn't be happier! A traditional breakfast ( fried egg, bacon, sausage, beans, 2 hash browns and a slice of toast for £12:25... Coffee, tea and hot chocolate, with unlimited refills for £3:25, a bargain! The food was hot and delicious and tasted like it was cooked to order. The service impeccable and there was plenty of seating It gets 2 thumbs up from me and I'll be eating here again for sure. Definitely worth a look...

Wetherspoons but with airport prices, food is basic but does the job. Best value for money is the pizzas, they’re surprisingly rather good. A point deducted for the real ale quality, I had two pints that were somewhat tired and had clearly been on for too long.

I ordered breakfast and after 30 minutes of waiting I was suspicious as usually wetherspoon food arrives really quick so I went up and asked how much longer and apparantly it wasn't even put through so noone knew about it. My flight gate was being announced so they had to quickly make it for me so I rushed it. Was a shame but the lad who sorted it for me was polite. Food was normal wetherspoon scran can't complain for the price.

Das Essen war wirklich nicht genießbar. Der Chicken Burger war extrem fettig, und das Chicken Patty schien im gleichen Fett wie Fischstäbchen frittiert worden zu sein. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls übermäßig fettig und überhaupt nicht knusprig. Der Geschmack ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das zweite Gericht mit Hähnchenbrust, schien keineswegs frisch und hatte einen faden Geschmack. Insgesamt war es eine der schlechtesten Erfahrungen, die ich je an einem Flughafen gemacht habe. Es bleibt mir ein Rätsel, warum hier überhaupt noch Essen verkauft wird.

The food here was just ok considering the price. This is a great place though to wait for your flight and maybe have a drink or two. Ordering through the app was fairly easy and the service was quick.

The food was pretty “meh” but I give the service 5 stars thanks to Joshua! He was so sweet and bubbly! Totally brightened my mood with his sunny disposition! Will visit again. ❤️

We sat on table 523 and ordered Eggs Benedict, a large breakfast, cup of latte from the machine and a bottle of water. The drinks arrived at the same time but by the time the server arrived to serve our food, she only got my eggs benedict on her hand. So I waited for the full breakfast and didn't start eating mine because I am waiting for my partner's breakfast so we could eat together. Whilst waiting my partner went to get his coffee from the machine and came back and told me that the machine only filled half of his cup. I advised him to come back again when he finished because the coffee is free refills. He said that the queue is long and it will take time for him to come back again but then the server came with two plates on her hand which is another eggs benedict and the delayed full breakfast. I asked if I could have the fresh eggs benedict on her hand because mine gone cold and been served first as I waited for my partner's breakfast to arrived but she did not agree on my request. She also did not put a cutlery for my partner and he need to stand up to ask for it. My partner said she is rude as she was very defensive and told him that she gave it but she can not even remember that she was holding two plates when she serve it. Then as we were eating, the same server served another eggs benedict to the person who is sat near us. I guess she mistakenly serve that person's eggs benedict on my table instead of that lady sat near to our table. By the way, the food pass is on the opposite side of the restaurant and the staff need to walk across to served the food on your table. They should use a closh and cover the food, if they walk along people who walk pass that corridor.

Very busy place in the afternoon to get a seat.

Never have I felt so betrayed by such a low food quality. As italians, me and my three colleagues had five fairly amazing days in England in terms of food quality. Then this fast food place came, we ordered food with high hopes and expectation, then the attached photo arrived. The american double burger definitely looked like a child has tried to draw basic food shapes with an unsharpened pencil on a recycled paper sheet. If we were not yet dead, we also received something that semt to have the same colours as a pizza. This has triggered a fairly long list of blasphemies between us, southern-italian born people, due to the deep betrayal sense that we didn't feel since the pineapple scandal a couple years ago. We may now proceed to our flight wondering what humanity could do so wrong between our lives - or our potato fields - leading us to this anticlimatic food tasting apocalypse.

A meal before flight. Good choice on menu with some great ales to wash it all down. Service was informative as to ways to order. Another good meal, grilled chicken curry with rice and a side of chips. The IPA tasted a bit bland but overall good value.

Get place to stop and gave a bite whilst waiting for your flight.

Ordered breakfast. They got the order completely wrong. When it did arrive it was OK, would go to Spoons again for breakfast based on that & free tea/ coffee refills.

I have an allergy (celiac), the menu on the app did not allow me to filter and the hard copy menu did not have a code to help filter out options. I resorted to buying a gluten free sandwich from boots. I was then approached by a member of staff who said I couldn't eat the sandwich in the restaurant despite my sister ordering food and drinks. I explained that I have an allergy and had to resort to buying a sandwich but she said I had to eat it outside. Very unfriendly and unhelpful!! This was this morning at 09:45am

Always a haven in the craziness of T5

You know what to expect from a Spoons so it was reliable for a bite before flying. Service was quick and staff were so friendly considering how busy it was! The paninis didn’t taste of much and the chips weren’t great but expectations were low anyway.

Wetherspoons just airport prices, was shocked at the difference. Coffee 3 X the normal cost!

Sehr gutes Essen, um vor dem Flug nochmal schnell den Magen zu füllen oder auch um einfach nochmal etwas abzuschalten. Bestellt wird in Lokalen dieser Kette per App. Das sollte man wissen, bevor man sich dorthin begibt, denn es macht den ganzen Vorgang wesentlich einfacher. Allerdings ist diese Kette in Großbritannien anscheinend weit verbreitet, sodass sich der Download durchaus lohnt.

Not generally a fan of the genre, but got a decent pizza, a glass of wine, and a plug socket to charge my phone, for less than £20. Tables are a bit cramped together,but I guess needs must in a busy location.

Terminal 5 gets too busy with most food places having queues. But not this place. Find a table, order and pay on the App. The food arrived quickly, the Pizza and burger we had were served quickly, was hot and really very good. Friendly staff, good selection of food and drink. Don't bother with queuing for overpriced food and drink elsewhere.

Came here 4th October 10:34am before my flight - given a dirty knife and fork asked the table attendant for a clean one she replied they are all going to be same before walking away. Ask manager for a new set only to be told, oh its water marks when there was clearly food on my cutlery. Now onto the food - terrible ordered scammbled eggs which was tastless and cold. Waste of £8+. I would not recommend and I will not be back. Did not eat my food, very disappointing wetherspoon. Your food used to be tasty and nice.

Egg Benedict with ham was fantastic or I was starving, I'm not sure which. Either way it was beautifully presented and quick to the table after ordering online. Wonderful atmosphere of a softly lit pub. Find a seat, scan QR for menu, then drinks come first, and food very shortly after!

I cannot rate the food here yet as I have only ever had drinks here. The P*rnstar Martini is fantastic! You can order your meal by scanning a QR-Code at your table which is really neat. They have a self pouring wine and beer system which is super cool to try out new things. The atmosphere and decor is lovely. Will be back for food next time!

A stop gap in terminal 5 but always busy

Excellent place to rest and have a proper breakfast. Choose a table, scan the code and order…they bring your food. You get your coffee from a machine which was quite nice. Dined there after arrival and before departure. Highly recommended!

Nothing to complain as an airport restaurant . You have to order at table to get drinks and food which is very common in London now. Price is reasonable (actually I feel slightly lower for beer).

Had breakfast--quite good for an airport place. Was very busy as you'd expect, and the atmosphere was crowded, but perfectly fine. Decent place to eat when waiting for a flight.

I appreciate it’s an airport Whetherspoons so atmosphere will score low but the effort in presentation was rubbish. Again I appreciate there is a high foot fall but just even a little bit of of effort would have improved the whole experience. On a plus side the actual burger tasted great and I really enjoyed it just a shame you have to pay airport prices for such mediocrity.
