The Crown Pub, Earith in Huntingdonshire

Under new management, Paul is the new landlord. He's made changes, and there is a different feal/vib to the place. The quality of the beer is great and served by Jim. The kitchen should be open in a couple of weeks, and from the exceptional quality of the sample dishes I've tried, I can not wait for the kitchen to open. There is a lovely garden next to the river. What more could you wish for. Pop in and see for yourself it is definitely worth a visit.

They have food trucks on various days but not when I was there. I'm told they are very good

A simple,friendly pub with a great atmosphere and beer to match. Love it.

Having read all the great reviews we arrived on a Saturday lunchtime. This was clearly a mistake. The lasagne was obviously a reheat and the baked potato had hardly any filling the salad accompanying the potato was a few leaves. Staff were pleasant and the garden a bonus. We won't be back in a hurry.

The chef never turned up first visit had been told food would be excellent. Left went elsewhere.

We stopped here unexpectedly we are so glad we did! We received excellent friendly service and a fantastic meal. The lady was very attentive and helpful. We ate it outside in a lovely garden- some tables were undercover, others had umbrellas, alongside the river watching the canal barges drift by and hearing all the birds etc Was a perfect way to spend a couple of hours in a beautiful surrounding.

Lovely garden by the river.Had scampi and chips,very nice but could have done with peas or salad.Friendly service 😀 loved the ducks .

Fantastic Sunday roast with the family. As much gravy as you need too, it was all delicious. We will definitely be back. Such a lovely, friendly atmosphere with great staff. We've just moved to Earith and we're delighted that we have such a lovely local pub. Nice views over the river from the outside seating.

Was a guest at a wedding reception 13/7 The whole approach from the staff was brilliant all very friendly The buffet food was excellent well presented and all very fresh and very tasty

Friends wedding reception yesterday Staff were helpful and attentive to all our requests and provided a great atmosphere for us all.. The venue its self was great with a beautiful beer garden backing on to the river with plenty of seating and a lovely fenced off play area for the kids Highly recommended

The setting is nice next to the river. Singer for atmosphere. Was disappointed with how expensive it was. £4.50 for chips and £3 for soda water. Most places soda from the tap is free and if you have a cordial you will be charged max £1.80 for a pint. I was gobsmacked at the £3 for just soda water.

Wonderful views in the garden and the staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit :-)

Can't comment on food not eaten there yet. But bar staff excellent and very clean. lovely outside area beside the river loads of seating and play area for kids.

A wonderful lunch with friends. Very friendly and welcoming staff(Naomi) Good choice of food well cooked and served. Also, it is very good value for money. I would certainly visit again

Very good food, nice atmosphere.

Fantastic food at the Crown today. We had a beef roast, pork roast, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie. The price was good and well worth it. The pork was cooked well, loin has a tendency to dry out but this was perfect and beef was a beautiful rose pink. The puddings were exceptional and my husband particularly enjoyed the brownie which had a slight fondant texture, much nicer than the dry crumbly ones you get elsewhere. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Very good roast pork Sunday lunch with separate side plates of veggies. More than enough food, everything cooked perfectly. Waitress asked if we needed anything else twice and was happy to bring more gravy etc. We also tried three different desserts and each one tasty! Good menu choice and will definitely be going back for more 👌🏽

Landed in this place randomly due to intolerable hunger during a bike ride. Food was great and in generous portions! The waiters were all very polite and thoughtful as well. And well priced. The only thing I could complain is the stuck door of the women's loo. And maybe the dessert being mediocre and too sweet for my liking. Definitely will visit again.

Lovely family friendly place and lovely food and great service

This was the closest pub to where we were staying at a nearby campsite. We visited with friends after a day out. I thought it would be a nice place to eat as it is next to the river with tables outside. They only do bar meals & sandwiches. We all had burger and chips and they were very tasty, we sat outside - the football was on in the bar. The people were very friendly.

The staff are friendly and the food, whilst very limited in choice was nice.

The barmaid called Jo,went out of her way to accommodate us by letting us sit in her restaurant and have a take away delivered there as we were on holiday on a boat and didn't have address and they weren't serving food at that time she was lovely

Really nice place to sit outside at the moment as tables down to the river. Will go back when we are allowed to go inside
