Really lovely place to have a pint. The locals were very helpful when we asked directions up onto the hill. Little matter that we were drenched and frozen on the top 😊

Very quirky little pub with unusual decor. Not a lot of seating, though.

Went to a surprise party there in the function room. The bar staff and locals in the main bar were very friendly making a lovely atmosphere. No food is served in the bar.

A wonderful traditional little pub! They don't serve cooked food but the lovely landlady Christine made me a wonderful sandwich! Very friendly locals and a very atmospheric pub.

We were made very welcome by Chrisy and the regulars plus the 3 great Danes are very well behaved. We are here on business and staying at Redwood Lodge and will be back again in the future

Homely, warm and friendly. I'm from Yorkshire and Westbury was a stop off but loved the characters and they had a great selection of ales. Definitely be calling again!

Truly the only proper pub in Westbury. Rain and cold outside, open fires, big dogs (very big 'ol dawgs) lovely bar staff and friendly customers inside. What's not to like? X

Cosy pub friendly landlady good beers

On the Cask Mark Ale Trail, this well established town centre establishment did indeed serve up 20 fl.ozs of excellent ale. It's not a sophisticated place, probably hasn't changed much internally for many decades, doesn't serve food, but the denizens are affable and the cellar is well kept. A 'must visit' for all those 'on the trail'

Very much a real pub, locals and owners all equally friendly and welcoming. Makes a nice change from gastro pubs!! Small but perfectly welcoming.

Great traditional Inn .lovely friendly staff,very relaxed atmosphere great outside area but it is a traditional pub used by the working man so if you got a lot of airs and graces it may not be for you but if you want a game of darts or pool and a good beer and a chat with the locals give it a go.bikers like it here to.

A good proper English pub, none of this gastro pub malarkey. Has two bars, skittle alley, pool table and dart board.

Really friendly staff who really care about their customers. They arranged a fantastic function for me earlier in the year. A traditional 'proper' pub. Give it a try :-)

My job takes me to many places and this is by far the worst I have ever stayed in. The plaster was coming off the walls. Lights didn't work. Beds didn't look like they been cleaned. Need less to say taking a shower in the place was a no go
